We very much enjoyed our stay! Parking was easy and free. The food was delicious at the on site restaurant and the location was great. It’s about a 20 min walk to downtown!

Location was terrific. Easy to find with plenty of free parking. Room was very spacious and comfortable The restaurant for dinner was a wonderful experience. The food was exquisite with perfect service and presentation. For our one night stay this hotel certainly hit the mark.

Large, comfortable room and friendly staff in a slightly odd building. Location is across the river from town, but it’s a short walk through a lovely park and playground to reach the waterside eatery district. No cheap eats nearby; the on-site restaurant is pricey but excellent.

We really enjoyed our 6 nights here. Room was a great size, well appointed and with a lovely view out to the river. Staff were very helpful. The location meant we could easily walk into town as well as providing access to river walks. The general lounge/dining and bar facilities were of a high standard.

Amazing stay. We were upgraded on arrival which was a lovely surprise, room was very spacious and clean. Hotel was in a great position to the centre of Launceston. Visited the spa for a couples massage which was fantastic.

I was so looking forward to staying at Silo Peppers, we are travelling a lot at the moment and really liked the idea of this hotel with the sound proof rooms and good review's even though it was expensive for 2 nights (£650) roughly. The room was next to the lift so all you can hear was the lift going up and down late at night and early hours of the morning. We felt more tired after our 2 night stay than we did before we arrived. Cleanliness was also disappointing as lots of dust on bedside areas and a disgusting stain on the carpet outside the bathroom… I dread to think what this might have been. For a five star hotel I would not stay again.

The hotel was clean, easy to get to and initial check-in was easy and friendly. We returned to hotel in evening to find someone had smoked in Hallway or room and the hallway was filled with smoke, this smoke was coming into our room - I called reception and she brushed me off, had to go down to reception and complain, finally we were able to change rooms. Was not impressed by first action. I was happy they changed our rooms though

Very clean and spacious room and good customer service, however we experienced a few issues. Firstly, the rooms are noisy as they partition wall and ceilings seems thin and/or not properly sound proofed. We were hearing noise from both neighbours and room at the top level. Secondly, our package included breakfast, and we were not happy as it was not to the standard of a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was Alacarte with limited options. As an example, only one drink was included and we could not order both juice and coffee. Moreover, you would need to set a time to go for breakfast, and more importantly every morning we had to wait up to 45 minutes after ordered the breakfast.

You think you are booking into the silos but we were in a modern section out the back. The rooms were expensive, and ludicrously large. You book a two bedroom apartment and you get interconnected rooms.

Great Hotel, For a first time visitor the check in was like a scene from the Three Stooges, entry parking has no flow system, no one had any idea where to find reception an easy fix would be to have a concierge on ground floor. We stayed in the Silo suite & could hear every word our neighbours spoke.

We had to wait 30 minutes just to get breakfast, and on the first day we were told that breakfast included only one drink. The next day, we were suddenly told that breakfast was not included at all, and I was charged nearly $100. The room itself was also disappointing. The sofa was smelly, dirty, and sunken in the middle, making it impossible to sit on. For a suite, this is completely unacceptable. Overall, a very frustrating experience. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent property with friendly & helpful staff except for one incident at breakfast time. My wife wanted to eat an item from the bar for breakfast. The male supervisor did not allow it - his reason was that food from the bar cannot be eaten at the restaurant- which was literally a couple of steps away from each other. Even my wife’s suggestion to pay for it at the bar & bring the item herself to the restaurant was disallowed. To us, it’s totally baffling, unreasonable & nonsensical. Such discriminatory practice should cease & the staff member counselled.

The hotel facilities are good, especially the river view room. However, the major issue is that, despite being a high-star hotel, it lacks a bellman to assist guests with unloading and guiding them to the reception, which is located on the unusual first floor. Before checking out, I called the front desk to request luggage service, but I waited for a while without anyone coming to our room. I had to cancel the service call and manually unload all the luggage before leaving the hotel. This was a significant departure from the usual service provided by even an ordinary hotel.

I think a change with regards to the tv and remote control needs a laminated simple step by step how to use/access channels. We needed to seek help from your staff so as to clarify how to use the remote. It appears to be a recent change to tv and indeed different to when we were last at Silo Regards John Girdauskas

Great location next to a great park good for kids of all ages. There is a short 7min walk over a cute little harbour to get to some Great eateries. Rooms were super clean, spacious and had all the right mod cons for a great quick family stay on our travels.

Loved the fresh feel of this hotel. Initially it looked isolated in an industrial area, but on exploring there is a marvellous playground and community park adjoining the property and a path through the park to a pedestrian bridge to the Seaport food precinct, then onto the city centre. A great area for walking.

Hotel is in a great location, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Suggest you book a restaurant table for breakfast in advance as on the Sunday we had to eat breakfast in the cafe. The restaurant was full with large groups who were given priority. This was annoying as the restaurant had told us on the Sat night there was no need to book our table for breakfast. Disappointing service! The breakfast manager in charge just said the dinner staff shouldn’t tell people that and wasn’t apologetic, poor service we thought.

Exceptional staff and fantastic room with a view of the Tamar River. Was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant with quality meals presented.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well appointed. All the staff, from reception, restaurant and bar staff and cleaners were all very friendly and helpful. The Grain restaurant is a standout, bettering most of the top tier restaurants in Launceston for quality, innovation and value. All in all, Peppers Silo is a hotel I would highly recommend and definitely will be our go to hotel in Launceston.
