Beautiful historic property. Very quiet at night and in the morning, which is so important for being on vacation. Well maintained pool area. All staff were friendly and helpful. Good in-house restaurant. Chef personally came out and greeted me. Chef also offered to modify any of the dishes on the menu to my preference. Can't beat that kind of service!

This is a no-frills hotel, but charming and very comfortable. Close to the malecón (boardwalk) with all its people watching and restaurants. The little room for dining had surprisingly good food! And the waiter/chef was lovely, accomodating and served food that looked and tasted great. They provided us with beach towels on request and were very welcoming.

Clean room, but the staff is lazy. We went to the pool that had a bar but not anyone around. We went inside ti ask for drinks, 40 minutes pass no one showed up. We gave up and left only to find the entire staff sitting in a back room having a great time. I didn't want to even eat there with the incompetent service. The internet was horrible. No towels. Bad hotel...

This hotel is very clean, the staff is excellent, and it’s close to everything you want to be near. It’s one block off the beach, and about four blocks from the Malecon. It’s an older property, so be sure, and bring at least one surge protector with extra outlets. All in all, it’s a great place to sleep and hang out. We will be back.

It is a nice hotel but it need a lot of maintenance. We booked a Junior suite but it is just a big room with nothing in . There is only 1 electric outlet in the room and it is for the refrigerator. There is only 1 plastic chair. In the bathroom there is a lot of holes in walls and no place to put the towels

This was an amazing property near the beach and a 5 min walk to the Progreso Boardwalk. An amazing restaurants within walking distance as well. The bed was very comfortable. The room was large and the shower had consistent hot water!!! 10/10 recommend.

Great shape for a colonial style building. It sais 1925 on the entrance so maybe thats Victorian era. Very friendly and attentive staff that speak good English. High ceilings which we loved. 5 minute walk to the malecon. Quiet and private pool area. Will be stayin here again.

Our room was spacious and clean but no hand towels or washcloths even after I requested them - just two shower towels for us. Our room was not ready for check in at 3pm and after travelling for 24 hours we were not happy. Front desk gave us two beers while waiting which was nice but then upon check out we were asked to pay for those two beers ?! We thought it was an olive branch for not having our room ready. So the 100 pesos bill I tried to pay and they had no change for a 200 peso bill so I didn’t get me change and left. Tacky - not happy.

Très bon hôtel pour le prix. Grande chambre très propre avec une grande fenêtre. Personnel très gentil, toujours prêt à répondre aux questions. Très tranquille la nuit. À un coin de rue de la plage, un peu plus loin que le bout du malecon. Une quinzaine de minutes de marche du centre de la ville - pour moi c'est un point positif parce que c'est plus tranquille et il y a moins de gens sur la plage à cet endroit. Pas beaucoup de restos dans ce coin, mais on ne pas tout avoir. J'y reviendrais.

Het is een rustig hotel met simpele maar adequate kamers. Goede douche, grote tv met Netflix etc en een groot comfortabel bed. Strand is vlakbij. Voornaamste nadeel is het matige eten maar er zijn allerlei restaurants in de buurt. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding zou beter kunnen.
