Nice hotel for the most part. Two issues that were kind of too big to ignore. The beds are old and uncomfortable, pillows are terrible. The pool was crowded and the water was dirty because it was so over used. Probably wouldn't go back to this hotel.

Nice area, beds were not the best quality. Room was clean but very basic. It is a 5 star hotel and they’re really trying but it just doesn’t work. You don’t get served during breakfast while they have signs up that you can order eggs, coffee etc, but you have to walk up to ask someone. Breakfast quality was good overall. Spa access is only once per stay, 1 hour total. Asked for slippers, they didn’t have them so you had to walk barefoot where people also walk with shoes.

Had a nice stay but we were celebrating an anniversay and had to speak to front desk about this on day 2 which was dissapointing as we indicated this on our booking. Swimming pool was nice to relax and spa area. Overall had a good 3 days.

J'avais pris l'hôtel pour la piscine intérieure et le spa. Il se trouve que malheureusement, celle-ci est froide, les jets de balnéo ne fonctionnent pas ou peu et que les abords de la piscine sont extrêmement glissants (nous sommes tombés dans les escaliers). L'accueil ne nous avait pas indiqué que l'on devait réserver pour utiliser le hammam et le sauna donc nous n'avons pas pu en profiter et le spa n'avait pas de serviette disponible, il fallait aller les chercher soi même à la piscine extérieure. Le room service et la chambre était top même si un peu plus d'intimité pour les toilettes auraient été appréciée. Pour le prix, je suis déçue des prestations.

Pros: Good location, clean, spacious rooms, indoor and outdoor pools. Very polite and welcoming reception staff. Cons: You can only access the indoor pool once free of charge. Room is cleaned sometime in the afternoon while you stay there, but check out needs to be done promptly by lunch time in order to clean the room... The area around the pool is not well kept, a real downside to this hotel. Grass overgrown, half dead. In addition, it is also overlooked by surrounding buildings. Went for a coffee at the pool bar in the morning and was closed. Was offered the possibility to make my own coffee at the breakfast buffet and was charged 7 euros.

Beautiful modern hotel right in the center of lisbon. 15 minutes to the airport. Very walkable but ez to the metro and lots of cheap ride shares. Great outdoors space with a pool. Loved this place!

We were only there for one night before flying out of Lisbon, but all amenities (spa, pol, hot hub) that one might use for paying the price of night were closed at 1930hrs, The design was grand but boring, lacking character that should be expected for a Lisbon stay. Carpets were stained. Drywall patches were noticeable throughout. Also, the two small elevators were always full by the time it reached our floor and we had to carry iut baggage downstairs after 15mins of waiting. For the price, this was our least impressive hotel in our two week travel.

The lobby was clean and nice. Once you gwt in the elevator, it wwnt down hill. We were on thw tth floor.. dirtiest carpet. Right by the lift big stain on floor, and it continued all the way throughout that floor. I was very disappointed with the size of the room, thw towels were dingy...since i paid for a premium room, I expected, slippers, no water, no mini bar

We had an excellent stay at the Iberostar Selection. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel was very clean and modern. Our room was overlooking the pool at the rear of the hotel, it was a good size and quiet. The hotel location was good and close to all the main attractions of Lisbon also close to one of the metro station. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

The lack of communication amongst the staff is a record low for me. I checked in and upgraded my room for my stay for an additional fee, only to be told the next day I had to switch rooms back to my original room. So I had to pack up all my stuff I’d already unpacked. The sinks in both of the rooms I had were clogged. There were holes in the towels. They called and woke me up in the morning two days before my check out date to ask why I hadn’t checked out yet, only for them to realize they had the wrong date. Ordered room service and only half my order came. Reading through the comments here I can also see any complaint about cleanliness were simply met with “we assure you we have high standards and clean the rooms” lol ok. So explain the ants then…explain the holes in the towels. Standards where? I take better care of my home that I pay less money for than I paid for this vacation. Absolutely ridiculous.

Front staff was unwelcoming .As the first real interaction the the country is was a bit off putting, but the bell hop made up for it 1000%. He was incredibly friendly. Pool was ice cold and again staff felt unapproachable, but a neat spot to sit in the quiet. My room was decent , and my bed was always made. I found the tech in the room was helpful, with the charging ports on the deck ( for those like myself forget universal ones). My room unfortunately reeked of cigarettes, and there were cigarette butts on the carpet down the hallway. The breakfast was the best out of the experience. The staff was friendly , and good at their job. 👌 Over all not worth what we paid, location was great.

This was one of the most disappointing so called 5 star properties that I stayed in. The room cleanliness was okay, but the hallways and other common areas were filthy. For a 5 star hotel, no water provided in the rooms or slippers for use in the bathroom. There were water fountains in the hallway, but who wants to trace outside at 1am when you have just landed after a long flight. The manager on duty did contact me and try to make amends, which is appreciated, but the state of the hotel did not make for a pleasant arrival.

Great staff. When the country's power went off, Iberostar Lisboa was able to accommodate all of our needs. The carpeting in the walkway is is very stained and should be replaced.

Uma péssima ideia que compromete totalmente os demais fatores positivos do hotel: ótimo atendimento, boas refeição, ótima localização. The worst part of the stay was the terrible bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was the worst I have ever experienced (in the name of sustainability, according to the front desk) even comparing with hotels that cost a fraction of what this did. Together with that, the bathroom layout is ridiculous, without doors where you take shower and also in the bathroom per se. This results in zero privacy and imaginable unpleasant situations, together with having to turn off the room air conditioner before taking a shower in order to avoid a cold. Besides that, the water goes out and a big part of that area stays constantly wet. The room was also small for a hotel of this level and price and the front desk was not able to supply a simple electric kettle. Not even a complimentary mineral water bottle was supplied. To end, the room was also united with the other by a door (conjugated), what caused us to constantly hear sounds from the other room. The only good things of the stay were the bed, the breakfast and the good region where the hotel stays, near the Metro.

The longest check in time I’ve ever experienced, even though I checked in online prior to traveling. The bar staff were rude. There was a large event in the bar on the first night and we didn’t feel welcome at all. Then they tried closing the bar early as they had been ‘so busy’ with the private party. After complaining they begrudgingly let us have a drink. Won’t be visiting again I’m afraid.

BUYER BEWARE ! THIS PLACE WILL STEAL FROM YOU ! Do not leave your luggage and any valuables. I left mine and had a good amount of money stolen. The hotel won’t do anything about it, and I have to wait until the morning to speak to a manager. Wow! Also, this is NOT a 5 star hotel. Stay somewhere else !! Update- I found out my cologne is also missing. I spoke to the manager via email, as well as corporate and they basically said, they are not responsible for lost items. That’s insane since it was in their possession. This hotel outside of this issue also did not live up to the expectations I had when booking a “5 star” hotel. The bed had a big bump in it. Also, the spa pool was so cold I didn’t get in it. Which was the main reason I booked. Also, you have to make an appointment before using anything. You are limited to one hour. I didn’t even get to enjoy the facilities as I had to check out by the time they turned things on. And the hotel wouldn’t extend my check out. But the biggest issue was the theft, which I still cannot believe. I am staying at a hotel down the street the rest of my trip and it is a way nicer hotel and experience. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU RUSH YOUR BELONGINGS TO THEFT.

We had a great stay at the Iberostar Lisbon hotel. The rooms were fantastic (we selected twin with city view), with comfortable beds and facilities. The breakfast included was lovely which included hot and continental options. The facilities at the hotel such as the pool & gym were good. The staff were amazing, we were affected by the UK air traffic control issue and the team were amazingly accommodating. They were able to secure us rooms for 11 people again to cover our extra few nights. Really great experience and we would stay again.

Air conditioning on the property was a disaster - two staff members telling us the property mechanicals hadn’t been functioning properly. Rainhead shower button would stick in the shower once pressed and you couldn’t get the button back out. Front desk staff was so rude - at one point arguing about not willing to do anything to fix the problem until the manager returns the next day. Over 3 occasions we requested maintenance to come look at the problem … we’re told they were on their way, but never showed up. At one point, the front desk woman actually laughed at me when we were expressing our frustration. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Great stay at this hotel :). Amazing hotel, great room with nice view and great service by all the staff. Everyone was so helpful. It was my birthday trip - Diogo went over and beyond by making my birthday trip memorable with sparking wine to wish me happy birthday, suggested great restaurants for dinner and helped me book Tuk Tuk tour of Lisboa. Excellent stay, staff very attentive and helpful, breakfast very good with plenty of choice and as much as you can eat, great to have the pool facility after a warm day touring the city, rooms very good, comfortable beds and plenty of amenities. Hotel is very clean and beds are comfortable. Staff were helpful except they weren’t aware of a strike that was occurring at all of the tourist sites which lead to a full day closure. I was told by others that hotels are notified of this so that they can inform their guests. The bathrooms don’t provide much privacy. So I wouldn’t recommend if you are traveling with friends. The location was a bit far from the main tourist attractions. The lobby has a very strong perfume smell almost as if they are masking a smell.

Almost everything you would want to see in Lisbon is a maximum 30 minute walk away. It's a beautiful safe area, super clean hotel, lovely suits, and great staff. There are tonnes of highly rated restaurants around the hotel (Forno D'Oro and Koppu Ramen.) It's right near Parque Eduardo VII, Marques de Pombal, and Avenida Liberdade. You can get directly to the hotel using the Metro or the bus from the airport (which I was able to do easily at 6am on a Sunday morning.) Great experience and great spot. Suite was gorgeous and clean, the gym was decent - which I used a few times during my stay.

It was a good stay. The hotel staff was pleasant. I had several issues with the hotel room when I checked-in, but they were rectified the next day. Also, the heat in the room did not work and the hotel room was freezing every night because it was cold outside. I did not mention it to the front desk because I did not want to be labeled as a troublemaker. The hotel location was perfect and within a 1/2 hour walk to the City Center in Lisbon. We have stayed in 5-star hotels before, but this hotel does not come close. We had dinner at the restaurant several times, but the food was overpriced, and the portion was very small. We had to hail our own taxis instead of the hotel calling them for us. However, they were willing to call an Uber for us which took forever to show-up. Therefore, we had to cancel and walk outside the hotel to hail the taxis. The neighborhood was quiet and safe for walking and there were other restaurants, and grocery stores nearby within walking distance.

Good hotel for city tour bus terminal start point. Good overall facilities breakfast excellent and evening meal nice quality and presentation. Outdoor pool should open earlier. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend for long weekend visit to Lisbon.

Property was in a great location. Front end staff were professional and made check in easy complete with a glass of complimentary champagne. Pool side was relaxing, low key and private. Beds were a little older and grooved which made sleep with the split King sized bed. Luz weekend bruch was fantastic with excellent, fresh made/grown food for every palate.
