Feeling Eduardo VII

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits von der Altstadt, aber hervorragend angebunden, die U-Bahnhaltestelle ist unmittelbar am Hotel, die rote Linie führt direkt zum Flughafen (25min), die blaue in die Altstadt (10min). Das Zimmer war tadellos sauber, die Fenster sehr gut schallgeschützt, lediglich die Tür zum Flur kaum geräuschgedämmt. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück sehr gut (kontinental). Sehr angenehm der auch tagsüber jederzeit zur Verfügung stehende Kuchen und Kaffee im Frühstücksraum. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Het hotel was top! Personeel was super vriendelijk. We waren te vroeg aangekomen; onze kamer was nog niet klaar maar de eigenaar heeft toch ervoor gezorgd dat we eerder konden inchecken. De kamer was ruim en schoon. Elke dag wordt de kamer schoongemaakt en het bed opgemaakt. Er staat elke dag een versnapering klaar op het bed voor ons. De badkamer is niet groot zeker de ruimte van de toilet is wat aan de krappe kant. Het ontbijt vonden wij uitstekend en uitgebreid. De locatie was top; metrostation en shopping mall zijn op korte loopafstand. Als we weer naar Lissabon gaan, zouden we weer zeker terug gaan naar dit hotel.

Feeling Eduardo VII is my goto place for several years now. And it never disappoints. Friendly people, nice breakfast, good rooms and location. But this time I have to say that it is time for some updating, the bathroom feels old, the basin cannot close. The walls and doors are smudgy and need some fresh paint. It is still a nice stay but time to invest in some updating please.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Jeden Tag fand ich eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit in meinem Zimmer, wie Gebäck oder ein Fläschen Portwein. Das Zimmer an sich war gemütlich, ausreichend groß, das Bett bequem. Es stehen immer Kuchen, Kekse, Tee, Kaffee und Wasser bereit. Nur leider bemerkte ich im Zimmer schnell einen merkwürdigen Geruch und entdeckte dann auch Schimmel neben dem Schrank. Das war schon sehr störend. Da ich den ganzen Tag unterwegs war, konnte ich es aushalten. Das Frühstück fand leider erst ab 8:30 Uhr statt. Um die Uhrzeit musste ich aber jeden Morgen schon los und konnte so an den meisten Tagen nicht am Frühstück teilnehmen. Hätte ich das vorher gewusst, hätte ich das Frühstück garnicht erst gebucht. An einem der beiden Tage, an denen ich das Frühstück einnehmen konnte, war die Milch in meinem Kaffee sauer. Es ist wirklich schade, dass das Hotel etwas vernachlässigt wirkt, da sich die Mitarbeiter*innen eigentlich bemühen und das Konzept eines kleinen familiären Hotels ist eigentlich auch toll, ich kann das Feeling Eduardo VII aber nicht ohne Weiteres weiterempfehlen.

Vor allem die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals ist hervorzuheben. Die Zimmer waren sauber und waren gut ausgestattet.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich, die Bettren bequem und das Frühstück sehr gut. Der Lärm von draußen war auch erträglich. Was uns gestört hat war die Hebeanlage und die Lüftung im Bad. Die Lüftung ging leider sofort mit dem Licht an und das Bad war inliegend. Es wäre sinnvoll wenigstens ein paar Sekunden zeitversetzt, dass man noch die Tüt schließen kann. Ganz schlimm war die Hebeanlage. Diese sprang schon bei der kleinsten Wasserentnahme mit Getöse an.

Loved this little hotel...location is excellent...steps from metro and shopping. very clean and safe...wonderful breakfast. Was travelling around europe for a month and this was our favorite hotel.

This hotel would have been a better choice for us at the beginning of our trip incliuding a cruise than at the end. Also, our Espana room was spacious but not good for either tall or very big people as the bathroom was very long and narrow. Sitting on the toilet my knees were inches from the wall and anyone taller than me would need to sit side saddle to be comfortable. The same holds for the sink. You have to leave the barn type sliding door open to have room to wash or brush your teeth. There was a good size small fridge in the room and plenty of closet space. If going to the hotel after a cruise take a taxi. We did not and the walk to the Metro was fairly long with luggage and the elevator to the surface near the hotel exit did not work. The taxi/uber should be under 15 euros, and our taxi to the airport from the hotel was 10 euros and the hotel prearranged that for us the day before we left. There is no staff at the hotel overnight nor before 8:30 so you must have a phone in case of emergencies. There are no phones in the rooms. The breakfast was fine and we had scrambled eggs prepared for us one morning and either cookies or a small carafe of Moscatel in the evening . Overall a nice experience but after a long cruise a more full service hotel would have suited us better. A last point is that the wifi was very good but you must be sure you have a 5G connection as otherwisse it is very slow.

Really nice property and the room was decent. However. The TV was much too small from the distance of the bed. A small point I know. The big point? Very noisy water/sewage extraction pump system which made a horrendous noise when using the bathroom. The owners of the property are letting their staff down about this as the staff there were amazing! So thank you for the experience but sort those two points out. Bigger TV and quieter waste pump! Thanks.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Literally across the street from El Cortes Ingles, walking distance from Ave Liberdade, literally a subway entrance in front of the door. Hard to find a better location. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Only concern is that there are no AC in the room.

Right on top of the Sao Sebastiao Metro Statiion, across "El Corte Inglés" store! A 2nd floor hotel, very quiet, spacious rooms, and superb staff attention! Thank you Nuno!

This hotel is fantastic! Easy to find from the airport, the Metro exit is just metres from the hotel door. Very clean room with great facilities and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and eggs cooked to order. The little daily gifts left in the room were a real treat. Best of all, the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. It was my first time in Lisbon but I will return and definitely stay here. Very highly recommended.

Lovely tiny hotel - friendly hosts, simple breakfast included, beautiful bright room with balcony. Perfectly clean but is an older building eg plumbing very noisy.

Home from home, the team think of everything. They are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous, room was clean and comfortable, special treat left every day after it was serviced. Free tea, coffee and home made cake available every evening, really nice touch. The room has a lot of space, walk in wardrobe and modern bathroom. Even had a fridge to keep our drinks cold. They very kindly stored our bags on our last day so we didn’t have to keep them with us all day. The hotel is right next to the tube station (exit 6) so easy access to all the city but we walked a lot which is a great way to see everything. Only 2 things - could do with a couple more hooks in the bathroom (an observation not a criticism) and traffic and aircraft noise is loud but double glazing is excellent and cuts it out, we just like the windows open!!! But it’s a city centre hotel so what can you expect. Thank you Feeling Eduardo for giving us the perfect place to stay ☺️

The location was good, right next to the metro and major shopping mall. However there are some issues with the hotel; 1) The rooms use portable AC units which mine really didn't help that much. 2) Being a hotel converted from a historical residential building the room originally did not have a toilet / shower which was latter on added to the room (hence being very tight in its dimensions) my knees were touching the wall as sitting at the toilet. 3) There was no personal safe in the room to put your valuables. Besides that it was ok.

Convenient location next to Metro station and huge park. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast and treats (fruit, cookies) in the room every day. No AC - challenging to sleep at night.

An instant feeling of home, in a clean en spacious room. Perfect breakfast, to good to be true, but it was. Friendly, helpful team. I definitely recommend this hotel and I’ll be back✨

Although the hotel was difficult to figure out once we were inside we were fine. Perhaps a better description regarding how to navigate the front door and elevator would help. We had no idea we were in the middle of town. As Canadians our hotels are literally well advertised upon arrival, we are not used to hotels in the middle floor of a high rise building. But it was certainly the coolest thing we ever saw and the rooms were fabulous.

Excellent séjour au sein de Feeling Eduardo ! On se sent chez soi et choyé par les propriétaires! Ici on parle de l'excellence en matière de relation client. La chambre etait magnifique, le lit très confortable et le plaisir de découvrir chaque jour des petits cadeaux à déguster offerts par Le responsable. Sans compter l'accès à la cuisine pour déguster un expresso, un fruit , un jus ou encore un délicieux gâteau maison. Le petit déjeuner était parfait, et Nuno est vraiment aux petits soins pour rendre ce séjour incroyable. Les accès par metro sont situés en bas de la résidence et même à pieds c'est super agréable ! Proche du centre et au top du top !

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. This was our first time ever stay at a historic/boutique hotel and it was a great experience. The staff are all extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location is perfect. Right outside the hotel’s front door is the entrance to the train station. The train was easy to navigate and we were able to really explore Lisbon. Also, there’s a mall in front of the hotel with a variety of restaurants and shops. The best pizza spot we tried was also right outside the hotel. Great experience!

Ram was an excellent host. He made check in a breeze and was very helpful. Breakfast was a great spread just perfect before heading out for the day. The extra treats left in our room and access to the break room were big perks and wonderful touches. Best bed I slept in during our entire trip to Portugal! Would stay again.

I just stayed two nights at the Feeling Eduardo VII hotel and had a very nice stay. Nuno at the front desk was excellent. There were many nice small touches that were very nice. Fresh fruit when we arrived in our room and some delicious moscatel halfway through our stay. Breakfast was simple but nice with delicious bread, sliced cheese, meats, yogurt, cereals and fresh fruit plus excellent coffee. They will also make eggs to order. My biggest thank you was that the manager helped my partner and I have an early check in which was wonderful after a long transatlantic flight. The location is excellent and the metro is right outside the front door to the hotel. Small hotels are a great and give an entirely different feel to ones stay. I would definitely return. Perfect for the Metro - the entrance is literally outside your door! Lovely comfortable room. Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. Treats in the room daily. They also take notice when you hang your towel so plus points for that. A lovely stay in Lisbon.

The location of the property is very convenient, the main entrance is in a few steps away from the entrance of subway- red line and blue line.

There is a direct (not even any changes) metro from the airport to the hotel - well you have to walk a couple of metres out of the metro station - but literally it’s door to door for €1.80! Also at this metro stop you can get down to Restaurados & Baixa where all the restaurants & touristy stuff is. Couple nice cafes & a Lidl shop right next door to hotel if you don’t want to go more than 100 metres. Hotel staff very welcoming & the room was clean, light & airy. We only slept & ate breakfast there but lots of little touches to make it friendly. Definitely good value for money. I can’t tell you how easy a direct metro ride from airport to hotel is, never stayed somewhere with a €1.80 airport transfer!

The location served us very well for our stay. We had the Marques de Pombal room! It is a charming building. The plumbing grumbles a bit but added character, no real inconvenience :-) It has a LIDL market around the corner, El Corte Ingles across the street, Parque Eduardo within minutes and Sao Sabastaio Metro station literally on our doorstep.

We stayed for four nights and the location was amazing. Front door was right outside the end of the Red subway line, amazing. Across the street was a huge department store with a food court, and right next door was a stop for the hop-on hop-off bus. The room was always clean and the bed was comfortable. Only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast. You can only eat so much cold cuts and cheese with bread for breakfast. They do offer eggs on demand, but the portion was basically for a small child. Still not a deal breaker, but if there was anything I could be critical of it was this. Otherwise the staff and hotel overall were amazing and very helpful. Right below the hotel around the corner there is a great grocery store and amazing place to eat and get a coffee.

The staff made us feel so welcome and cared for each day. The breakfast room was an extra delight for us to use as a living/dining room with friends. Would highly recommend!

Ein sehr schönes kleines Hotel. Es gab 5 Zimmer. Direkt an der Metro Station gelegen. Durch den Park gelangte man schnell in die City. Das Zimmer war riesen groß und hatte alles was man brauchte. Trotz Klimaanlage war es etwas feucht im Zimmer. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass es für ein Sädtehotel mit Startbeginn 8:30 zu spät begann, so dass es sich knubbelte und alle schon warteten. Da könnte man besser auf die Bedürfnisse der Gäste eingehen. Toll war, dass es Kaffee, Kekse und Kuchen rund um die Uhr gab.

Overall a very convenient location and accessible to Metro subway and shopping mall and grocery! Definitely a great balcony room is recommended. The morning breakfast was quite nice and having snacks and coffee in lounge all day! Wish we were able to rest up when we arrived early upon on checking date and enjoy some of the food before our room was ready. Shoutout to Nuno! Abrigado!
