The Signature Hotel @ Thapae

Very nice property and very friendly staffs! In the hotel, gym and pool areas are out of the property and is a separate cost, I thought it came with the hotel but no that’s separate but other than that very great place to stay everything is near and very convenient! But can’t get enough of the friendly staffs all were very nice and would always check up on me as a solo traveler!

One of the cleaner hotels we stayed at. Facilities are clean and its right next to Tha Phae Gate. Would highly recommend staying here in Chiang Mai!

I like the location and their staffs. The only weakness is inconvenience for visitor to enter and park.

This place is perfectly located and it’s such a quaint hotel. The staff is amazing. It’s oftentimes booked out so don’t let it slip away! It’s very clean, zero mold or dirt.

Clean room, daily housekeeping, attentive and friendly staff

We had a four night stay here. Room was basic but quite clean and comfortable enough. The location is excellent and the breakfast was good.

Room was good and spacious, however, didn’t expect to stay on the first floor. In the first morning, the toilet would have a drainage smell and it would be better if they could provide more toilet paper. Nonetheless, the staff were very friendly and approachable. The location is great too as across the road, there is a 7/11.

It is very close to the ancient Chiang Mai area, the room is clean and good.

It is a quiet hotel and is certainly well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was that the beds were very hard.

Arrived at The Signature Hotel Thapae, warmly greeted at the front desk.The room, though small and basic, was clean. Showered. Water temperature maxed out at just above cold. Not freezing but not warm either. Nowhere near hot. Slow drainage led to ankle-deep water within 5 minutes. Upon reporting to the front desk, staff promptly addressed the drainage issue. Unfortunately, they explained the solar-heated water temperature is set at 40 degrees - offering to increase it, manually,,to 50 degrees if I called 15 minutes before each shower. The next day, the water was even colder. They showed me the meter and it registered 38 degrees due to a cloudy day. Two Wi-Fi networks were available. From my third-floor room, the 5G network was entirely inaccessible, and the other was consistently patchy, often disconnecting or loading slowly. Front desk attributed this to high usage during daily busy periods ... though, from my room, it was consistently like this throughout the day ... every day. The property is located far enough away from the main road that you don\'t hear traffic. The interior walls, however, are thin so you can expect to hear any and all activity in the hallway - first thing in the morning or late at night -as well as "everything" from occupied adjoining room(s). At $65 CAD/night without breakfast, I would have left after the first night, but had already prepayed for five nights. In short, for me, it\'s a classic case of the right staff in the wrong hotel.

Great value and location. Just a few blocks from the old city gate and those few blocks have lots of shops and restaurants (they were gorgeously lit up for the holiday when I was there). Clean, strong WiFi and AC, 2 free bottles of water a day, 24/7 front desk with a very helpful overnight manager who was kind even at midnight when I locked myself out of the in-room safe. Appreciated the local decor and free luggage storage so I could explore more after check out. Definitely would return.

L’hôtel est très bien placé, par contre les photos de la chambre ne correspondaient pas la réalité, très ptte chambre. On nous a donné une chambre aux rez-de-chaussée sans balcon mais avec une petite fenêtre, je me sentais étouffée, et quand j’ai demandé de changer de chambre à l’étage, j’ai du payé 200 baths par nuit, pour une même chambre juste à l’étage. On ne reviendra pas à cette hôtel.

Amazing location, small room but very clean and comfy. Breakfast is a la carte, really good and well served. Walking distance to the gate and main night markets. Safe area at all times. Staff is really kind and willing to assist although english is not the best. Definitely an affordable hiddn gem in Thapae street.

Staff is great. Location is even better. Room is on smaller side but clean. Bed was on hard side not so comfortable but manageable. My only complaint, shower is hand held only and not adjustable.

早朝4時の寝台列車でチェンマイに到着。少し時間を潰してからホテルに向かったが、快くアーリーチェックインを受け入れてくださり、とてもありがたかったです。 寝台列車での疲れを取るためとスマホの充電も切れそうでしたので助かりました。 スタッフさん皆とても優しくフレンドリーでした。

En réalité je n’ai pas de mots pour décrire mon séjour. J’ai été accueilli avec un beau sourire à mon arrivée et un beau sourire pour mon départ. Le logement était très propre et très confortable. La douche était chaude 🙂 . La localisation était juste parfaite. Les femmes de l’accueil étaient rayonnantes de gentillesse. Les femmes de ménage étaient au petits soins et avec un sourire sublime qui nous font apprécier ce beau pays . Je reviendrai sans aucune hésitation. Encore merci à vous , merci Chiang Mai et à bientot !

I will certainly stay here again. The place was clean and comfortable. The employees were friendly and helpful. The owner was also very congenial and active in our stay. She even prepared a real Thai breakfast for us. It is close to most everything we wanted to see, especially the Sunday Market - just one block away! What more could I ask for?

The hotel is very nice. Great location shops dinning not far. Staff very friendly. Great for family or if traveling solo. Look forward to stay here on my next visit

Everything about this stay was excellent. From the included breakfast to the attentive staff and convenience of the location, I cannot find a negative.

O hotel não é excelente e as fotos enganam bem… o café da manhã você fecha acho que é buffet mas chegando lá você é informado de que não é buffet é o valor é para um prato que sai bem caro. Não compensa fechar café da manhã

Location great. Everything was perfect. Maybe add a few more pillows. Add breakfast to the stay or incorporate within price of stay.
