Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort - All Inclusive

The property is fine. In rough shape for something 4-5 years old. ALL the pools are cold, the water slides are in a shaded wind tunnel and kids aren’t allowed in the hot tub. All the kids in our party were freezing and miserable much of the time. No sense getting preferred packages since no kids allowed in most places. Very meh.

New and Nice service from Dream Vista! However, the Preferred Club isn’t much special since it was not that much set apart from regular and if it is it is not worth the hype

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Dreams Vista. The resort is beautifully designed with excellent attention to detail. The view is fantastic, and the pools are nice. Although the rooftop pool was often not as clean as we liked it to be, which might be due to the fact that it’s smaller. We also loved the nightly entertainment. The food options were also decent for an all-inclusive resort. Although we did not enjoy all the food options, we could always manage to find something to enjoy. We liked the drink options, although we believe the alcohol was watered down. The staff were friendly. Some work on the beach area would be nice.

Property is kept clean. Perfect resort to relax and balance in relaxed fun activities. They provide daily schedule of activities available throughout the resort

Our family had an awesome time at Dreams Vista. All the staff members were kind, friendly, and put in great effort into their work. We especially appreciated Chef Gabriella and Victor from Security. The resort had many food options and the food was so good, especially for an all inclusive. Room service was awesome and always came quickly. They had continuous family friendly entertainment everyday. The spa was really pretty, everyone enjoyed the massages. The mani/pedi was super overpriced, about $100 for each, so plan to do that ahead of time. The app was also great, you could do everything from there. It was pretty windy when we went, something I didn’t anticipate. If you listen to the sales pitch, it can get pretty long. After the first guy pitched, we were handed off to Guillermo from corporate. He was aggressive and seemed irritated about us not wanting to buy. And spoiler alert: their highest package deal costs $193,000! I’d say this is more a family friendly resort; if you’re wanting to party, go to an all adult place. And don’t forget to tip! Everyone works very hard and it shows.

The property is very good and clean. The staff and service is excellent too. Their is some dirty muddy standing water at the back of the hotel (not connected) that looks very bad and spoils the hotel’s beauty. The food is good at some restaurants and average in others so they definitely need to improve in that area. Lot of options so you will end up finding something you like. The beach was small and not clean- so couldn’t enjoy that but we enjoyed our plunge pool in the room, the infinity pool, kids pool and water park. Love the spa and massage!!

Beautiful ocean view from the rooms. Staff are amazing. My grand’s kids enjoyed the kids water park.

The Staff makes you feel like VIP. The adult rooftop pool did not disappoint. Would highly recommend if you wanted to have some days away relaxing as this resort does not have a swim up bar or crazy pool scene. The ala cart food is amazing. Front desk was exceptional with answering questions and helping with uber and safety concerns.

This was the nicest all-inclusive resort I've stayed at in Mexico. It is upscale, upbeat (while not being a young adult party atmosphere), and lovely. Great for couples and kids. Excellent food. Only a small beachfront area but otherwise, spectacular.

This property is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Without traffic about a 30min drive from airport. The rooms were very spacious and clean with large balconies. Room views area beautiful and all face south. So many restaurants and drink bars/lounges to choose from. The preferred club is a nice perk! Rooftop access plus better quality drinks and dinning options. Most staff members were very friendly throughout stay. However, asking for any accommodations were not received well when dining. (Example: Restaurant seating preference when restaurants are nearly empty). Staff should learn to meets guest needs without attitudes. If your going for ocean blue water beach experience this location is not desirable. Water is full of seagrass and is green in color vs ocean blue. Definitely a rooftop pool or ground level pool experience hotel. This hotel is kid friendly! I actually enjoyed being around responsible adults vs adult only hotels with alcohol fueled, loud and overly obnoxious adults. Will I return again, absolutely!

I liked that the security was tight and it felt safe. Did not like the smell from the nearby swamp. My room smelled like mold. Complained twice to staff they would just spray some odor and clean floors. Staff was great tho. Wish the room was cleaner. Shower mat also had black moldy stuff. I’d probably not go back

Clean property

The shower had black mold. Was not and has not been cleaned properly. I did try to rinse walls from glass where mold was and wash as much down drain. As well some days maid would come other days we would need to call for service. Same goes for bar service in room some days they would come other days we would need to ask. We found food was not good. We did have some days meals were better than others. This is not the standards of a Dreams property. Resort suggested we use Amstar for private pick up and return to airport. Well the pick up no one had our names down for us. Many people did try to help us and finally someone directed us to pole 43. No apology or anything after looking for transportation for almost 40 minutes we left airport. Same thing on departure days says driver has arrived but he did not arrive. The Amstar guy on location was very helpful and did find us another ride as fast as

Property cleanness and room service was good. They come to clean rooms 3-4 times a day

Pools had mold in them. Preferred club is not worth it areas at beach and pool is over crowded we could not use the services we paid for at either designated areas. Do not get it. Preferred pool need a deep cleaning. Beach does not have enough chairs. Sushi and tacos were great we had that for lunch everyday everything else I’d stay away from other members got sick from burgers etc. some staff were great

The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Every time we called for anything they would be on it right away. The drink service was so fast and attentive by the pool especially ! Even with the rainy weather they had options to keep us entertained! Loved this resort, the only thing I would say wasn’t beyond amazing was the buffet food it was ok but the all the restaurants were delicious!

We had an amazing stay at Dreams Vista Cancun! The resort was spotless—from the rooms to the pool area, everything was exceptionally clean. Its convenient location near the airport made travel easy, and the variety of excursions ensured there was always something exciting to do. The dining options were plentiful, offering enough variety to keep every meal enjoyable. What truly made our experience special was the outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always in great spirits. A special shoutout to David, who went above and beyond in making our stay unforgettable. His warm and welcoming nature, along with his help with surfing and various resort activities, truly stood out. He was not only incredibly caring but also a pleasure to chat with. Overall, we loved our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return!

The hotel was nice but they advertised certain restaurants and activities that were closed or didn’t happen on a daily basis. The rooftop pool wasn’t cleaned for our entire stay I don’t thing the pool had a film on the top and trash floating(straws papers) the pool loungers were stained green from algae and the glass panels always had hand prints or greasy smudges on them day to day in the same spots. Even some of the glass panels were missing how they were secured and were replaced with two pieces of wood screwed together.

Great stay! The elevators are a little slow during high capacity but other than that everything was excellent. The wifi was excellent!

The food was the worst part, and staff come in your room if you don’t come to the door fast enough. The overall experience was good, but the staff came into my room over 10 times. I think they should give you time to open the door. And the walls are NOT soundproof I heard screaming and breaking glass all night I couldn’t sleep at all. The AC also don’t work

Spacious room.

I start by saying we have been to Cancun six times so we have a pretty accurate feel as compared to other areas. We have have stayed at another Dreams location and this was a very disappointing experience as compared to the other facilities. The good. Nightly activities were very entertaining especially the fire show. The fact that the family room was two adjoining rooms with a door gave much needed privacy. The view from the room was amazing. I am not sure there could be a bad view from the location as most overlooked the ocean. The rooms were very modern and clean. The staff that cleaned the rooms did a phenomenal job. I don’t think we have ever had a nighty turn down service but it was also a very nice touch. The food at the reservation locations was overall pretty good. We visited the coffee shop daily. Was a nice touch that it was included in the package. The pool food restaurant and bar were also convenient and tasty. The bad. I was angered daily by the preferred club option. Why should I pay an up charge for beach views, and almost any amenity? The buffet food option was just sub par food and slow service with little variety. Only one included pool. The beach was not good. Smelly, small, and limited seating. Don’t be deceived by 6 restaurants. You get 3 included and the buffet. This location also does not have blue water. The day activities were laughable. Spend a little extra and go to the Fives in Playa Del Carmen for great food, pools, beach

The resort was really nice the food was great. And the staff was very helpful. We had stayed in the corner master suite. The room had the most beautiful view of the ocean and golf course. I would like to think Rosa at the preferred check in. She was very accommodating and helpful with any accommodations we needed. Also Now the bartender made our drinks exactly how we wanted them. Top notch! The rooms was very clean but but you can see some of the wear and tear on some cosmetic things at the resort. My stay was amazing and I will highly recommend this resort for an amazing vacation

The property is beautiful. We enjoyed the restaurants, beach, pool, gym. All very nice. The check in process was frustrating. We were told to wait until 3 to book anything and to get the room number. Then 3 rolled around and nothing was available and they said they wouldn't give us our room card because the room was still being "stocked." We finally got our card at 3:12 (they were being petty with minutes so I will be too). Then we went to go book a massage with the $200 hotel credit they said we had but were told we can only use $40 of the credit at a time on a massage. The massages were really expensive ($250+) so in actuality, there's no hotel credit. Then we were exhausted so we went back to our room around 9:15 in the evening. Our next door neighbors also came back and were having a huge fight. They were screaming for over an hour and we could hear every word, sniffle, movement they made. The rooms are not sound proof ... at all. We didn't complain, we just turned up the TV and went to sleep when they were done yelling. We did enjoy our stay so it's not all negative - we love the restaurants + wait staff + beach + beautiful/clean gym. I think we would choose to stay some place else next time due to check in experience and noisy room though. Spending that much money to be taken advantage of doesn't feel nice.

The staff was excellent. Moises at vista taco was amazing The only downfall was my room had no hot water the whole trip! Called for service they came got fixed but after they left no hot water. Called again and they never showed up. Otherwise the trip was awesome.

I liked how beautiful the hotel was. The food was really good. I did not like that the property was very small and had limited walking areas. There was no ramp to the beach to take my wagon and stroller down with the kids. We had to carry everything down big stairs. The shower in the room was not kid friendly. My 14 month old daughter had no tub to bath in the the floor is slippery in the shower. I recommend you use water shoes in the shower for little ones. It was very windy most nights during our stay, and you could hear the wind moving the glass balcony door or you could hear the wind moving the entrance door. It was very loud and hard to fall asleep. I stayed on the 16th floor and every night and every morning I could hear people above us moving things around. It was very annoying. I think maybe there was restaurant above us for the preferred guests. The service at this resort was amazing. And the rooms were very clean !

Could not get reservations for the restaurants besides 1 night unless you got on app right at midnight to reserve. Buffet ended up being the meal most nights. We got tired of Buffett food and left resort twice to just eat different food. My wife and I have stayed at many Secrets resorts without kids and have always been pleased with staff and resort besides a few hiccups. I would recommend a different Dreams resort for kid friendly environment.

Staff and service top notch

Highly recommend this resort! The service was phenomenal and staff were very friendly. Oscar, Alexi, Victor and Alvin are fantastic and made our experience ten times better!

The hotel staff starked us daily to try and sell us a time share. They called in the morning twice dally to attend. We continued to say "NO " and they continued to stark us. They made us feel uncomfortable. The first room assigned was dirty, A/C didn’t work, bathroom sink did not drain and the bathroom had mold in it.

I didn’t like how you had to upgrade to be a vip and get access to for the amenities. The sales tactics with the time shares, spas is exhausting. If you are going to give coupons for hotel credits jacking up the prices to make up for it isn’t that way to do it. $200 usd rooms credits should have been at cash value. I felt that was a scam right away then going to the time share sales. Just like at dreams sands we were not impressed the same sales tactics were going on.

We had a great time staying at Dreams. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. There were about 7 restaurants within the property but we only got to try the 5 of them. If you are not getting the Preferred Club, you have a very slight chance of dining at Prime Vista and Blue Water. We stayed in the property for 4 nights and we never got to try them. If there’s a wedding in one of these restaurants, they close this down for private event so you won’t be able to dine in at all. And reservations are hard to get. The only bad thing in staying in this resort is how the staff will push you to attend their “1-hour” meeting so you get can coupons and discounts for excursions and spa. But what it is is they will try to sell you a vacation membership or some type of timeshare. And it is not a 1-hour, it’s pretty much almost half of your day and it’ll be a waste of your day as they do a whole presentation, chat with a sales person and do a tour of the property. That’s just me who wanted to enjoy my vacation and not participate in any of this. It was uncomfortable walking into the lobby without a staff asking if we attended a session already. We had to avoid walking into the lobby cause of this. But other than that, our meals are amazing. The bartenders like Eder and Oscar took good care of us. They made us very special drinks and made sure that the tequila shots were always coming! I’ve stayed at other resorts and Dreams Vista has the food! Also, their security is tight & safe.

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort is a beautiful property with stunning views and modern amenities. However, my experience with the staff was hit or miss, some were warm and welcoming, while others felt less attentive. The biggest disappointment for me was the food, which overall was quite bland and didn’t meet expectations for an all-inclusive. The only standout was the sushi, which was surprisingly fresh and flavorful. While the resort itself is lovely, I felt the service consistency and dining options could be much improved.

Property is great and most of the staff are very helpful, nice and kind. Staff around the front desk are engaging but seem only interested in upselling services from their in-house supplier (Amstar). Location is terrible - it takes a while to get out of the resort into the city, and the area around the main gate is pretty rough with nothing to do. The hotel itself has good ocean views but is next to a swamp, so the other side of your views isn't great. Also, the beach is very small, with half of it reserved for the preferred members. I'd suggest staying in the Hotel Zone instead.

Location is about 30 min driver from Dt Town but over all great hotel

The staff were extremely polite and helpful! Construction is currently underway at the back, therefore the entire beach area wasn’t accessible. I am sure whatever the improvements are will be superb. Check out was a bit confusing we were unaware that a checkout card was needed for checkout. All in all this is an awesome property with great staff members, Jesus at the Preferred Club bar area was such a joy!

Great first stay at an all-inclusive resort. Would definitely recommend. Staff is very kind, area is very safe, and there’s lots to do considering it’s so close to downtown Cancun.

I stayed with my wife and two young girls. The property was clean, the people were very friendly, food was good, and the entertainment was great. The only negative I would say is the beach, which is small compared to other resorts.

Great overall experience! The beach area where the hotel is located is perfect! The pool are and all restaurantes were amazing! The staff was incredible! The servers were all so nice and kind. We will certainly consider staying there again. A few things to call out: cleanliness overall was a bit lacking. I understand is a huge hotel but you could see a few dishes left outside the rooms that wouldn’t get picked up during an entire day. They have 2 surfing pools, one for children and one for adults. They stayed closed for most of our stay due to board being broken. With that infrastructure there should certainly be more than one board available in case something happens. The location of the hotel is a new area in Cancun and is inside a private condo with two other buildings. A lot of tourism services didn’t get the authorization to go all the way into the hotel reception, and the hotel does not provide any shuttles from their reception until the main gate of the condo, so you have to walk all the way there. As any other hotel in this area, they WILL TRY TO SELL YOU SOMETHING. Classic 90 minutes of your day in exchange for tourism cash that you can spend inside the hotel. I don’t recommend unless you want to actually buy the membership they are offering.

Short beach access , was muddy due to construction. No walking trail and short beach walk access . Disturbing noise pollution due to construction. It seems little far from city centre.

Didn’t like the fact that the buffet was closed for dinner service. There is a small limit of restaurants and they are not all opened at the same time but more on a rotation basis. Food could have been better as well. The beach is very tiny and not clean. Would only say a big shout out to Roberto the bartender by the asian restaurant he was awesome! Don’t think we will be to this property again.

Overall, I had a good experience at the hotel. The service was fantastic, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. The air conditioning in my room did give me some trouble, which was a bit uncomfortable at times. The food was hit or miss — breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the Prime Meat restaurant was excellent. However, the rest of the dining options were disappointing, especially the Mexican night, which did not meet expectations.

The buffet wasn’t the best but the restaurant options were great! The Vista Prime Steakhouse was awesome for dinner and the Bluewater Grill was good for breakfast with a view. The coffee shop was on point and the staff made the stay super fun!

Love this property. Everything is great. Rooms are clean. Preferred status can order room service. Rooms are clean daily. Check in check out process was easy. Pools are clean and someone is there to take order of drinks by pool side which was nice so you dont have to leave the pool. Plenty of area to sit around poolside. They do have night shows which were amazing. Only thing i dont like is food. Food is very plain, felt like i m in hospital. It has no flavor in it. Couldn’t eat after first day.i went out everysingle day to eat. Food needs improvement. Everything else is amazing!!

Food option is limited. They do not offer Al a cart lunch and no buffet at night. Food service is slow in all the restaurants and especially in the buffet restaurant. Room service food was cold at night. Coffee maker got broken but it was never replaced despite our request. Food quality was OK, Blue water cafe provided excellent meals day and night. Himitsu was the least restaurant that I recommend. Overall, it was OK facility but I will never go back for the price I paid.
