Spacious and modern rooms, great cleaning service, and great pool + gym. Close to metro station and easy pickup location for Grab drivers.

All indicators were excellent, and for me as a regular swimmer, the 35 metres pool was a standout …….

Nice clean modern hotel. Off the main strip, at least half a mile to closest MRT station and walking distance to a bus stop. Not much as stores or restaurant options other than the 3 (kind of expensive/not street food) ones on the ground level between the other hotel (Novotel) and a 711 for convenience. There is a bfast buffet you can pay additional for. There is a nice infinity pool, lap pool and walking distance to basic gym facilities. Laundry machines on premise which I didn't use. Money exchange machine in lobby.

The location was excellent we thought. Convenient for Orchard Road and Stevens MRT a short distance away. The shuttle from the hotel to those locations was very useful . The two pools and gym were extra benefits There were places to eat nearby and a 7/11 store that proved handy. The room itself was quite small and the hotel , like most in Singapore , was tall with 10 floors

Gym , 2 pools very nice

Love the pool was very nice to relax in after hot day out. Nice room was small though. Good choice of restaurants handy if you don't mind paying a bit more for meals. Really nice looking property was in great condition. Laundry room very handy and easy to use. Will definitely stay again if I don't need to be central to all the action. Enjoyed our stay.

朝食はとてもおいしいですが、フロントの対応などがかなり杜撰な気がします。又エレベーターの横や部屋の前などに袋に入ったゴミが放置されているのが散見されました。　5日間滞在しましたが、2日目にハウスキーピングがはいっておらず、朝出た時のままだったのにはおどろきました。近くにコンビニもあり、ロケーションは良いと思います。

Group guests are too noisy to sleep at night. No free mineral water provided as other hotel does. Water boiler is very dirty and can't boil water. Do not stay.

Rooms are very small. One of the rooms smelled like Indian cuisine. Staff is nice. They offer a shuttle every hour to main station.Rooms were clean. Buffet is very pricey for the offering.

My wife is a housekeeper supervisor and i am working in restaurant on cruise industry.Front desk personel was vergood and helpfull but ican not day same thing for restaurant service and housekeeping.A coulple personel in restaurant should not be wotking at all. Wearing no gloves on breakfast buffet also i asw them chewing everytime coming out from kitchen.Also 45 minutes before they are getting closing mode already. Whatever is finished on buffet not getting refill.Even stands are taking off.For the room i can say needs to be cleaner.Under bed was dusty.Bed sheets needs to changed at least every secod day..Fridge in room almost not cooling at all.

We had a very cramped twin room no place to put a 2nd suitcase, no bedside table for one bed so nowhere to place water bottle, phone etc. The light for the bathroom at night was on the far side of the far bed so using the bathroom at night was a challenge. We needed to wash clothes but we needed $20Sing in coins to operate it. Reception didnt have coins and because we didnt have enough other currency to change into coins, we couldnt wash. Bathroom grouting needs mould treatment. Bathroom didnt seem to have a exhaust fan. The pools looked beautiful. Good public transport close by.

As soon as you enter the room, there is no guide or even some kind of written guidance about the room features. I wasn't sure how the lights start, fo example. If you dial the reception for help, the turn-around time is slow to fulfil your request. The lobby looks a bit too dark in the night. The air fresheners smell weird.

This was one of the most expensive and cheapest place I’ve ever stayed in. No hot water at night they turned it off. The gym was under renovation which they failed to list , so we had a mini gym. The room has no refrigerator it’s a cooler. I had to order ice which took up to one hour or more to receive. I had to request face towels. No microwave in room , but the 7-11 let me use there’s . The pool does not have enough seats. I stayed 23 days paid over $3000 and was not allowed to use the lounge. I requested a higher floor when possible. The reservation guy never contacted or tried to move me. All staff except one young Chinese housekeeper and the shuttle guy, are not very friendly . The lobby has dirty chairs and carpet. My room was the size of a walk in closet. I had only one small uncomfortable student chair. Mold in shower around mini shelf. The television is outdated luckily I had my Apple TV. Food options right outside over priced bad food. I will never stay at any of their hotels again.

First time at this hotel. Overall very happy. First the good… checked in earlier than normal, was given an upgrade to higher floor, fast check out. Rooms big enough for one or a couple and best of all there’s filtered water for your drinking safety. Can be improved… room service did not clean my room, the walls seem to be very thin, I could hear noises from above, beside and around me. The layout of the rooms are perhaps way too close each other (see pic). Still a very convenient location if you want to be at Orchard area but not be too near it. And the food outlets on the premises (operated separately from the hotel) are pretty good. Will come back again, but for short trips. Thank you Mercure.

The only thing is there’s nowhere to put your make up & toiletries in the bathroom, the hanging space is only 1/2 wardrobe length, can’t hang dresses, too many small tables and lamps in the small room.

I was told that I'll get a key to my room after 10 minutes. I stayed in the loby for 1.5 hours and only after checking it again with the desk I got my key. No body approched me for that matter

Check in at around 2am, 2 indian at the check in counter , after 3-5min, inform me they couldnt find my booking . Ask me to take a seat and allow them more time. 10min later say that booking was found but payment wasnt update by Hotel.com. By then i was getting real tired, i asked for the room and told them, they could take their time to confirm matter, until i check out tomorrow . Again the indian staff say i have to wait, so i ask for the duty manager . But again the replied was i have to wait too. After 10min a lady manager came, understand the matter and got me a room within 5 min. Order 2 sandwich in the room, after 15min, receive a call, informing me club sandwich is not available, offer me a chicken sandwich but have to wait 30min. Finally food was serve to my room by another Indian staff, didnt bring a pen for me to sign the bill and ask if i can wait for him to go get a pen. Told him there is one provided on the desk of my room, but its not working , i took out the ink and manage to sign with it. But the indian staff want my full name written too. I got real pissed off and told him to get out of my room. Room only provide toothbrush and toothpaste, no shower cap, shaver etc . Not even bottle water .

The only problem I have is the security deposit. They make you pay on the day when you arrive before you check in which is normal but they take forever to give you your money back. Contacted their hotel, no response, emailed their department on this problem but they keep repeating the same thing telling you to wait 72 hours which I did twice but still no response after that. Literally I just got my money back after a month. Terrible service. Definitely not staying here again

Clean nice and modern property. Disappointed in service as check in took ages and was slow and they could only allocate a twin room when the booking was for a double

I prepaid my stay and was charged $48 USD additional. I asked aboout this charge at check in and again at check out. No one was able to assist or explain. I've message the hotel twice and still no answer.

밤 10시 30분까지 룸이 준비되지 않아서, 컴플레인했더니 무료로 취소한다는게 호텔 책임매니저의 최선이라는 답변...너무 좌절스럽습니다.. 그동안 기다린 시간, 그리고 급하게 다른호텔을 예약한 추가금액, 가는 교통비... 모두 다 제가 부담을 해야 했습니다. 다시는 경험하고 싶지 않은 Expedia를 통한 Mercure hotel 예약이네요. The room wasn’t ready until 10:30 PM, and when I complained, the hotel’s duty manager said that the best they could do was offer a free cancellation… absolutely desperate. I had to bear the cost of the time I spent waiting, the additional fee for urgently booking another hotel, and the transportation to get there. This has been an experience I never want to repeat with a Mercure hotel booked through Expedia.

I had a very pleasant stay. The reception staff were kind and pleasant, and they even upgraded my room. The room service staff asked me where I was from and greeted me in Japanese. It was a very nice hotel.

Check in time was 3:00 pm, but when we arrived at 7:30 pm, the wait for check in was long and both rooms were NOT ready. We were first told that one of the rooms was ready and the other one will take 5-10 mins. However, when we asked the room number, we were told by the staff that the room number is not available although the room would be ready in 5-10 mins. We found it to be illogical but we were tired, so we simply dragged all our luggages to the room first. But, when we went up, housekeeper was still in the room, which was far from ready. So we went down, again, with our luggages, reported this and were told that the manager is looking into this, and they’d let us know what happened. We waited for a few minutes but did not want to wait further, so we told them we will leave for dinner first. When we were back, at around 10:30 pm, the other room was ready, but the manager did not know what happened. She then looked into it and told us that one room was ready while we checked in at 7:30 pm, which was not the case… She explained that they’re busy, and they cannot force their customers to check out on time. We are not sure how this is an acceptable explanation and it seems more like a problem of mismanagement, especially we did not arrive early, nor even on time for check in. We only arrived at the hotel after 7:30 pm. It was not a single person’s fault but the experience was terrible, nothing like a 4-star hotel or a hotel at all…

My mom and I had a great stay here! It was our first time in Singapore and the hotel was very convenient for us. We felt safe and there was tons of amenities. Also if you get a taxi from the airport to hotel (vice versa) it’s about 20-25 USD dollars which is a steal! The MRT is about a ten min walk but you can ask one of the staff to call a taxi and it was cheap to get around.

Great location

The staff was very friendly. They let me check in early. The room was very clean. The property is just a 15 minute walk from the subway station. Lots of dining options near the hotel. I would recommend this place.

Good location away from the main Orchard area, close to Stevens MRT, nice selection of restaurants in the complex.

I found the Mercure on Stephen‘s to be a good location for what I needed affordable and Central good clean hotel with a swimming pool and wouldn’t hesitate to go back there when I return to Singapore

交通が不便でホーカー等は近くにないこと以外は快適。仕事で4回程度宿泊している。タクシー移動であれば問題なし。

最寄駅のMRTのスティーブンス駅から徒歩で離れていること、部屋はシャワーだけのものの、水量が弱めで湯温が安定しないこと、などがデメリットですが、、MRTは2路線使えますし、バス停は近く、部屋は静か、フレンドリーな対応は好感が持てます。周りは住宅街ですが、施設内にレストランが数件あり、セブンイレブンもあるので困ることはないです。同じ施設の隣にあるホテル・ノボテルのBARが比較的遅くまでやってます。

The room was clean but very small. Breakfast was biggest disappointment. Same choice of food every morning, pastries a few days old....omelet cold....need a big improvement. You are beter off to get some pastries from bakery. Location of hotel is very good, only a few stops from busy shopping area. You can use hotel shuttle bus, very convenient.

Nice clean hotel located within 10 minutes of train station. Friendly staff. Food ok. Very poor gluten free food options even though there menu says it is. No gluten free options at breakfast at all.

I enjoyed my stay there … my room was comfortable and the pools gym and buffet breakfast featured area of options from Singaporean dishes Asian and western dishes …

The food selection was poor

This is a wonderful hotel that is only a 14 minute walk from the MRT and has a very friendly staff. There is ONE MAJOR thing that the hotel needs to improve: The breakfast! My wife and I agreed that out of the hundreds of hotels we stayed in... this breakfast was probably THE WORST. How can they improve? First, have more options. Second, prepare food with more flavor. If you are staying here, you might want to OPT OUT of the breakfast option until they improve.
