They Hyatt Bolgatty is an absolutely stunning property. From its gorgeous lobby with fresh flowers and coffee shop to panoramic views, the layout, amenities and cleanliness of the property was wonderful! The breakfast buffet each morning was incredible an overwhelmingly amount of choices. It was here we met one of the best servers we have ever had! Riyuni met us our first day and was so informed and knowledgeable about all the different food selections. He acted as an amazing tour guide as well, telling us all about the different regions in India, the different foods and cultures. His service was impeccable, never leaving a plate and we never had to ask to have our coffee refilled. On the last day he surprised us with a goodbye cake that was one of the most generous and sweetest hotel experiences we have had. We are so thankful to him for making our trip so amazing! I had a wonderful deep tissue massage at the spa and everything about it was 5 star. my therapist was not only skilled, but also passionate about massage and healing. The steam room was also wonderful in the locker room. The one issue we had was the late time of dinner service at the restaurants. Because of where the hotel is situated, eating on the property when there is definitely the easiest option. I don’t know if the time of dinner service was pushed back because of Ramadan but starting dinner service at 7pm is extremely late. For those who eat at 5 or 5:30 like us, there was no option.

Grand Terrace suite is corner suite with terrace with a view of Backwater on one side and view of Vembanad lake on other side with ships, boats, Water Metro cruising all the time. Very modern suite room and amenities. Bathroom is big size with round Bath tub. Walk in wardrobe and half bathroom is addtional. Between hotel and lake has long strips of green lawn for walks n Kid's play area. We thorougly enjoyed Club Lounge access with snacks and cocktails and varieties in food and very helping staffs and always on toes to serve guests. Breakfast has wide varieties both continental and local. It is sumptous. For me Grand Hyatt Bolgatty is the place to go in Kochi and also well located. Kudos to the staff n keep it up.

Very much value for money. Children breakfast for 12 and under was free. The room was big enough that we weren't living on top of each other. Children enjoyed the swimming pool and slides a lot. Pleasant staff throughout. Bottled water had an after taste so was most probably filtered tap water. Other childrens indoor activities were paid which is unusual in hotels of this standard across the world. All in all a most pleasant experience. Would certainly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxury resort hotel. Rooms and overall ambience were well maintained and inviting. Service was excellent in all aspects and throughout. We had delicious meals at Thai restaurant on site. The breakfast spread was huge and sumptuous. Overall we had a wonderful and satisfying experience and hopefully will visit again.

Worth the Money At first, we were given a room on the 7th floor, which was directly under the bar on the 8th floor. It was quite noisy with furniture and chairs constantly being moved around overhead. We complained, and to their credit, the staff moved us to another room on the 6th floor right away. However, the soundproofing still didn’t seem great—we could still hear noise from outside. Food was excellent with lots of choices, but very expensive. Customer service lacks personal touch.

Terribly noisy - blaring religious music woke us all up at 4 am. We were in 523. Then, door key cards kept fsiling. The laundry manager keot arguing with us having charged us twice the amount claiming 79 pieces of clothing when we counted only 45. No indication on the buffet dishes on the spice level, we could not eat many dishes, they should mark them.

I had reserved the terrace suite for my parents wedding anniversary. The staff went above and beyond their line of duty to make it a beautiful memorable day for my parents. My parents said they absolutely loved everything from the luxury room and lovely food spread to the lovely ambience of hotel and peaceful evening cruise. Highly recommended!

quiet tropical paridis island vacation....very dependable airport shuttle as long as you communicate with hotel.... suite that i was in made me feel like i was living the life style of the rich and famous....outstanding room with terrace- grand suite...spacious and beautiful...place for weddings, and great place for children....staff beautiful and outstanding....making this vacation ...simply outstanding thank you soooo much Grand Hyatt Boygottay -- in making this vacation...I will never forget...word to the wise...however.....please be aware....there is NO atm...you would have to go over the bridge by shuttle, etc. should you have the need for cash-all the best!

A 4.5/4.75 star hotel. Great property with easy communication with staff. Some service issues but mostly smooth. A tad out of the way (more a convenience issue as traffic in Kerala is tough) but all manageable with patience. Biggest issue for us was that food spread at breakfast was frustratingly limited (esp for intl travelers). Even for room service, a penne arrabiata was no more than penne with sweet-ish tomato sauce and ample cheese. Disappointing. They also could not accommodate breakfast in the main room (a bummer due to the good view from here) so had overflow in a different area downstairs. If they improved food optionality and service it would likely flow to 5 stars.

Worth the Money At first, we were given a room on the 7th floor, which was directly under the bar on the 8th floor. It was quite noisy with furniture and chairs constantly being moved around overhead. We complained, and to their credit, the staff moved us to another room on the 6th floor right away. However, the soundproofing still didn’t seem great—we could still hear noise from outside. Food was excellent with lots of choices, but very expensive. Customer service lacks personal touch.

The Chef Selva and other chef and coffee counter person were super helpful in customising available options for my taste. The waiting staff and restaurant managers were great too. Abod in the bar on the rooftop was very courteous. Housekeeping paid attention to details and tech support arranged a long length HDMI cable to connect my laptop to the TV. Nice experience overall though expensive. Restaurants taking their last order by 1045pm was a bit odd. No 24 hour coffee shop or tea lounge.

I was late to the spa and yet they accommodated without compromising the quality of the treatment. Loved it all and I recommend it whole-heartedly. The morning breakfast options are🔥.
