The TRU offered a nice, clean environment. I loved that the hotel has a board that communicates all of the answers to FAQs about the area (places to eat, common sayings, attractions, etc). The walls are very thin---I could hear the person next door snoring. As well, the Peloton exercise bike was broken with no timing for repair.

Rooms were fine, but it needs a good deep clean. Breakfast was ok. Loved the pool table in the common area and they have games to play, which is nice. Location was perfect for our stay. Staff was great!!!

Just stayed one night but spent most of the day in the lobby visiting with family. Very friendly staff and a quiet smallish room with a wonderful king-size bed and large TV. The weather was unseasonably warm so family kids had a great time in the outdoor pool. Will definitely stay here next time in Auburn.

The were no microwave or coffee pot in the room. You would have to go downstairs and use the one by the front desk, then go back up to your room. The microwave at the front desk was dirty. It look like it had not been cleaned for several days. No one was at the desk when I was checking out, though a staff member was sleeping near the front desk when I had come down 30 minutes prior .

I thought most Tru Hotels were fairly new, so we opted to try it. It seemed to be new but already very dirty. Baseboards are tile and appear to have never been dusted or wiped. Food on ceiling on 2 level by elevator. Walls in our room had liquid drip marks in multiple places that could easily be wiped to remove. Same goes for bathroom walls. Bathroom tile baseboards were especially dirty and corners in bathroom had accumulated hair. When we arrived @10 pm there were groups of students studying in the lobby. The pool area was also full of college students. The noise from upper level rooms continued all night. At breakfast there was not a clean table to sit at even tho there were at least 8 employees sitting around. It’s terrible to see a new hotel not being cleaned and taken care of.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Hilton properties but this Tru one was making us rethink ever using Hilton again. It was clearly just an old property “updated” (using that term loosely), halls & rooms upstairs smelled like old smoke & mold, ac didn’t work & had a funky smell, blanket had what appeared to be a pee stain & blood on the ceiling by elevator. I mean come on Hilton are you trying to ruin your name !!???

There was live in the bed. It was not discovered until the morning after we had slept in the bed. While the hotel covered the cost of the room, the damage had already been done. We had to treat our hair and items to prevent bringing it home.

Definitely would have preferred to stay anywhere else. The shower was dirty and smelled like mold, there was dust and dirt in all corners of the room, the A/C didn’t consistently work, and despite every notice saying they would do turndown service every other day, they did not. We were there 4 days/3nights and received no turndown service.

The room looks clean but if one pays attention there are areas that were not clean like corners and soap scum. There were also visible stains in all the furniture in lobby area. Stainless steel surfaces had smudging and looked unclean. Lobby restrooms unclean, doors were dirty and there isn’t a ladies only restroom. Our room bedding didn’t smell or look fresh.

The bathroom smelled like urine. There were yellow stains around the toilet seat hinge. One of the folded towels had a large yellow stain on it. My daughter almost dried her face with the dirty towel.

We were very disappointed by our stay at Tru. We switched rooms twice due to the rooms not being cleaned by house keeping. The first room had makeup on the sheets and hair in the bed. The second room was just as bad. There was a pill on the floor in the bathroom, hair on the toilet seat, and the sheets were filthy. Not due to stains, they were not cleaned at all. See attached. The woman at the front desk for the night shift was understanding, she showed us the room prior to moving us. Her manager requested photos but has not reached out regarding the matter. We’ve stayed at Tru while on vacation in Tennessee and it was an absolute wonderful experience. It was disappointing to see that the one in Auburn wasn’t kept to the same standard.

Staff were mostly nice and cordial. Room was very tiny and frige did not cool. I was there for 5 nights and there was nowhere to put my clothes or luggage. Wasn't worth the price. Will not stay there again.

The room was clean, and the hotel is located in a nice, quiet area. However, although I did not reserve a handicapped room, I was assigned one. This would have been fine if there hadn’t been several issues. The room did not have carpet (I'm not sure if this is typical for handicapped rooms), and the bathtub had two showers, but the main shower did not work properly—it did not provide hot water. Additionally, the room was connected to the adjacent room with a door that lacked proper soundproofing. I was woken up at 2 a.m. by loud music from the next room and couldn't get back to sleep due to the noise. I eventually had to call the front desk at 4 a.m. to ask them to address the issue.

Very small room. No dresser drawers. Very little desk space. For a business trip I really rely on desk space. The furniture was just kinda weird, and cheap looking. Other than that, the staff was super nice, friendly and professional. Breakfast was good.

The shades in the large window were stuck in the down position because the draw string apparatus was broken on both inner and outer shades. When I reported this to the desk I was told, “Yeah, we know and we’re gonna get maintenance on it.” Later, I guess.

Enjoyed the hotel, all in all. Only thing we had issues with, were the people above us, that sounded like earthquake constantly and like they were going to come through my ceiling at any point. If something dropped on the floor, it loud asf! Also, slamming if doors. Poeple should be considerate to others when in a hotel, and make sure you arent letting kids just run a muck like they dont care. I will request a top floor room from now on.

This property is nice. This property is clean. However, at 7 AM in the morning someone set off the fire alarm. Not one staff member called our room or reached out as we hurried at bed and around to get out. Then, downstairs we find out that someone burned a bagel in the lobby at breakfast.

Well I entered the lobby, the desk person was sitting with her back to the door on top of the counter. I was in her peripheral vision waited for her to notice and address me. She did not. I asked, is this was where I checked in. She slid off the counter and said yes and proceeded to check me in.. She as cordial enough but this isn’t a good sign for customer service. Also the mattresses in the rooms were not secure so as you went to sit down, they slid around in the base.

I like the location is not far from the interstate. It was my first time at a Tru Hotel. The room decor is a little different but pleasing. Selected that location for an early morning Groome Shuttle pickup. So I did not get a chance to try breakfast. Enjoyed my short stay!

A guy standing on a12 ladder trying to pressure wash the building, he was lucky but they should have rented a JLG and that job would have been safer. I have a picture with him in action. Also water pressure in the shower was insufficient, and cleaning rooms every other day. They should make customers aware that they only clean rooms every other day. And breakfast, if you're not there early(when they put it out) it's gone! I got down there at 745am, still didn't get anything.

We arrived late in the evening for check-in and were offered water and popcorn. The room was very clean and I found the bed to be comfortable. The continental breakfast in the morning was all we needed to get our day going with scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, English muffins, bagels, pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. The only thing missing was a danish to top it off. It was a very good value for the price.
