We had a very pleasant stay. Very nice and cooperative staff; nice rooftop bar with views of downtown. Not a ton of restaurants that are walkable but otherwise just a short Uber away. Nice, quiet, safe neighborhood just off the beaten path enough to avoid the noise and congestion of downtown.

Great place was very impress with the day valet he was so friendly and kind and was working really hard to have everyone car out and ready for them and he was the only valet worker which should of been a more then a two man job. The night valet took about almost 2 hours to get my car out which I decided to go back into my room I ask for my car at 12am and they brought it out at 2am when I got a txt from them. So far staying there was great!

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Canopy! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice area to walk around with lots of stores and restaurants. The rooftop bar was great with excellent views. We also liked that the free M trolley stopped right outside the hotel so we used that to get around.

Very nice hotel with wonderful staff.Clean and up to date.Rooftop Upside Bar was a visual treat. The only downside is that they only have valet parking.Area has some street parking but garage self parking would have been a plus.

This is our go to hotel when we travel to Uptown. The staff and amenities are amazing and the rooftop bar has an incredible view. It’s a prime location with several dining and shopping options within walking distance. Will be staying here again.

The only option for parking was Valet or the street . Fortunately, we were able to find street parking. Other than that, the stay was great and in a great area.

The hotel is new and modern. Some of the staff were rude and the bar upstairs was closed until 5 pm but still worth staying here. It’s in a great area and walking distance to restaurants and bars. There is no pool but so many other things to do, didn’t miss it.

Front desk never answers the phone. Ever. Zero customer service. Understaffed or uninterested in helping guests. Rude. Better off staying in an Airbnb. People were unable to call our room directly due to staff not answering phone. Towels were filthy; had pubic hairs on them. Will not be back. Could not even get a request in for new towels via phone. Had to walk down. And then had to wait while person talked on phone. Canopy needs to hire more employees and fix customer service issue.

Property and room were very nice. Honestly had zero complaints at all! Surrounding area was walkable and safe, with shops and restaurants within a few blocks. Close to Katy trail, a busy path for walkers and runners. Highly recommend!

My issue the past two times I've stayed here is the temperature of the room. You cant control it from the room itself, its controlled by the staff. It also did not appear that they had the AC on and it was high 70s and 80s outside. I called to request my room temperature be lowered by a few degrees and I dont think they ever followed through. In fact, from the panel in my room it didnt even appear the AC or heat was on at all and the control panel was locked so I couldnt control it myself. This type of thing shouldnt be happening in a semi-luxury hotel.

I stay here at least once a year and have always loved it, my only issue this trip was i could not control the climate in my room. I called the front desk a few times , they were supposed to send someone becaafter resetting from thier end I still could not change it on my room. The room stayed on heat at 77 my entire stay. Which honestly for the most part was ok, but did get very warm at times.

I like how close the hotel is to everything and how clean it is. The hotel is way too loud and you could here everything. Cleanimg crew slamming doors and loud conversations super early in the morning while you are trying to sleep.

Very modern hotel rooms and great sound isolation from nearby rooms. Friendly service folks. Could wish more welcomeness and convenience from the surroundings since it really is uptown Dallas. Breakfast setup was a pity because though it shows Breakfast Included on my booking, the servant asked for some sort of coupon so we could use breakfast and we ended up skipping. WiFi connection is also fenced by some confusing pay walls although simple steps to connection is already available to many similar hotels around US.

Great location, staff was very friendly. The roof top bar sounds more like a nightclub, staying on the floor under it, you could hear the bass until odd hours, I was excited to utilize the bar until I realized it was a younger more club scene. Hotel was nice overall, room floors could have been cleaned better.

Like a ghost town. No restaurant or bar open at reasonable time. With no one in line, check in took 30 minutes. “Staff had wrong password.” No service and no sorry about that. Second time there and not going back.

Our Daughter lives close by the Dallas Uptown location. We always stay at this location when visiting. Hotel is very clean, comfy beds, lots of little details from great water stations on floors to cookies at check in, but the valet guy, Stacy always greats us with a smile and treats us like royalty (lol) Great staff here ! Highly recommend

Awesome experience! From checking in, to checking out, we had nothing but positive experiences. Hotel was clean, quiet, and I loved the balcony off our room and the rooftop bar. Both of which both had amazing views of the skyline. Shower was nice, beds were comfortable, pillows were a little too hard for my liking, but no other issues. One of the reasons why I will set this hotel apart from others in the area, is Stacy the valet gentleman. He is a rare jewel in today’s world. He was such a pleasure and had jokes, eating suggestions, and even a compliment for every person or guest he encountered. He was quick and efficient, we never waited longer than 5 minutes for our vehicle. We will definitely stay here again!

There was a problem with the TV even after maintenance came up to "fix" it. I called the front desk a couple of times and no one answered the phone after letting it ring for a several minutes each time. The water in the shower only got warm, never hot. The property is very clean, modern and new.

The front desk check in went smooth and was lovely. I went to the bar to order food and the girl ignored me for a bit before taking my order. Then I went up to my room, walked in, and it was so hot and stuffy. Room temperature was 76 despite turned to 70. I couldn’t open the blinds of the corner city view room I paid for because it was just way too hot. I received a check-in text message asking how it was going and I responded about my room temp. This was around 7:30PM. No one messaged me until 11:30PM. At breakfast I had asked for a glass with ice to drink a cranberry juice and she goes “just put a straw in that and drink it”. Just truly awful service all around.

My husband I stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of a friend . Canopy brand has many nice features and this hotel lived up to them all. We got a welcome bag with waters and two delicious macarons from Bisous-bisous , a delicious local patisserie 2 minutes from the hotel. We enjoyed the free beer and wine tasting from 4-5; we enjoyed hanging in the lobby with computers; we enjoyed drinks and nibbles on the rooftop; and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which included amazing cooked oats with quinoa and chia and all the toppings, nice pastries, eggs and bacon, yogurt and fresh berries, overnight oats, and coffee all for $15.00. Room were new and well-designed and clean and comfortable and quiet with nice bathrooms. Nespresso in the room and coffee til 10 in the lobby. If you have time, take the free historic M line trolly that runs right past the hotel; itʻs a fun 1 hour ride. Nice shopping and restaurants are a 1-2 minute walk away. The Katy Trail entrance is about a 10 minute walk away; this man-made trail is the perfect place to walk or run, surrounded by beautiful natural plantings. We are fussy, and this hotel is now our go-to place in Dallas.

Canopy at Hilton was a great business property! Front desk was wonderful and accommodating. Valet was exceptional with fantastic service. Stacey was excellent!! The restaurant could be upgraded. We chose to leave the hotel and go out to local restaurants for both breakfast and lunches. Beds and quality of rooms are great. Excellent location.

We were in town to catch a play at the Wyly Theater & visit family over Easter. This is our 2nd time to stay at this hotel & it was pretty perfect. Parking is limited so valet is pretty much the only option but the parking attendant was pleasant & jovial. We loved the view from the rooftop bar of the Dallas skyline, but the bar is not open every day, so check availability. The rooms were wonderful with a Hugh tv. Great size, bathroom setup, small fridge, etc. The view of the rooftop & its a/c units was a disappointment, but it is the well located Uptown neighborhood with lots of high rises buildings. Breakfast was an unexpected surprise with a delicious omelet & coffee delivered in quick time. We’ll be back!
