Courtyard Austin by Marriott Northwest/Lakeline

Very clean and easy to check in. Nice rooms and facilities other than the pool. The pool itself is nice, but the area around it is dangerously slick!!!☠️ The bartender on duty was really friendly and made amazing drinks!

Great customer service. Only downside was the elevator was not working properly and there was a busted lamp in room. Complimentary breakfast buffett would've been nice too

Good points snd room for improvement. On the good side, the room was clean and well decorated with a trendy vibe. Bed and sheets were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Room for improvement included only ibe working elevator snd it was very dirty inside. There was garbage on the floor of it.

This property is in excellent condition and well-maintained. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and great for work and rest. Front desk staff was very attentive and there is ample parking and lots to do nearby. No free coffee or other food items although there is a small store and bistro in the lobby. Overall, met all our needs and I'd highly recommend to others!

It worked great for us. Felt safe and parking was easy. Elliptical was nice quality with some free weights bikes and treadmills. Pool is fairly small but we knew that when booking.

Got up Saturday to find no complimentary breakfast. Room was nice but a lot of noise from nearby freeway. Went to exercise room, found weights missing and machines not working. Staff was friendly. Kinda disappointed in Marriott for this stay.

Be careful in the pool. It’s INSANELY slippery and they have no warning signs about it. My baby was walking and fell straight on his forehead after slipping. We couldn’t even walk around without worrying about falling, so we left the pool early extremely disappointed. Unfortunately we chose the hotel due to the indoor pool (got told it was heated) but it was extremely cold.

Other than the convenience of the location this hotel is not it. Elevator doesn’t work. All the rooms are noisy because it’s so close to major highways. The rooms are dated and things broken in common areas and rooms. Wasn’t my first stay but definitely my last.

Of ten days only one cleaning and bed refresh.

They forgot to clean the room, one night out of just two nights of staying.

The room smelled really bad and the cleaning lady had to come in and clean it all over. It turned out it was the carlet over spilled coffee. I was told there is no other room available.

Everything was excellent except two issues. First, I did not appreciate that the rooms are not clean daily like most other hotels or at least the front desk should notify you so people don’t place the towels on the floor. Front desk ststed cleaning is done every other day. Second, try to get breakfast but no one was available that I only had time for coffee after finding someone to help me. Will not be staying here again. Thank you

Room was very clean, same as the property. A few restaurants nearby but the hotel also has a bistro that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Traveled from South Louisiana. Anything you want to do is within 10 minutes. Staff was knowledgeable and courteous. There is a Starbucks and a nice breakfast option available for purchase. Room was very clean.

This is a great hotel! Any Marriott I’ve been to has never disappointed! The room layout and design was quite nice and comfortable bed with welcoming feeling in the room. The only thing that was odd was the electrical switch controls were odd, where one switch would be the main switch controlling the over head bed and bathroom light but that’s not a problem at all, I just thought it was interesting. The bistro does have a limited selection and to be honest not worth the price but it’s okay! I wasn’t there to eat. I was there to rest and move on and it served that purpose.

The room was clean and comfortable (bed a little firm). Friendly and professional staff. The only issue was the patch up work to cover up either a water leak or just repainting. They just painted over wallpaper, which made it look hoody looking. A torn rip on the carpet, which didn't feel that well walking over it without shoes. We really liked the very cold ❄️ room after our Amana thermostat hack to stay on cool during our stay (Google it).

I was disappointed the staff wasn’t on the same page. The room was nice but the bed was hard. I found it hard to go to sleep and felt tired when I awoke.

I was told to front desk morning person can you clean my bathroom but he didn’t and my check out time I was told him why you not cleaning my bathroom he was showing me attitude and bad behavior reply can you please follow up with him

I booked 3 nights at this hotel for a conference I was attending in Austin. I was working in Dallas to morning of my check in date when I got an email from Hotels.com saying the hotel couldn't honor the stay. I didn't see the email until after 6pm on my drive down from Dallas to Austin. The reason they gave me was something about 3 rooms not being available and they forgot to take that off the inventory that Hotels.com had. I had to wait around for about 2 hours when I got to Austin to have a rep from Hotels.com help find me another hotel. He got me a room at a Hyatt Place in the area. Hotels.com covered the $175+ difference since the Hyatt Place hotel was more expensive for 3 days. The reason for this review is I'm wondering why Marriott doesn't have a system in place A) to prevent this from happening. B) If it does happen, having a system that helps guests find another Marriott branded hotel in the area. Basically, they lost the money they were making on the 3 nights and now I'm not that excited about booking at a Marriott branded hotel next time. The woman at the front desk of this Marriott acted like there was nothing they could do about it because it was booked through a third party. I tried to explain to her that it was me, a real human standing in front of her that was going to be sleeping at the hotel. Not some "third party". She did not care. It was basically a "I don't care at all to try and help you." attitude.

Front desk staff were not supportive of my needs. Listening skills were very poor and empathy was lacking for a weary older traveler disappointed and confused with accommodations available on arrival. Confrontational and curt communication styles were exhumed in the front desk staff making my stay at the property unsettling. I left before I stayed the second 2 nights for which I had paid. As a Bonvoy member I expected better. We have stayed at Marriott brands for many years and I have never been treated so aggressively. Please contact me about this review

Nice hotel, check in staff was terrific!

Loved the property. Amber was great at check in. Food at the bistro was good. Every associate we incountered was very nice. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room. I made sure she got a tip.

I appreciated the early check in and the friendliness of the staff no matter who was at the front desk. Great hotel, great rooms, I will definitely be staying again if ever in the area!

The front desk clerk was never welcoming and did not have even a smile or welcoming demeanor throughout the 4 day stay. Also during the stay somebody opened the front door while I was still in the room.....he claimed to be hotel tech and wanted to check if the refrigerator was working fine.....very very unusual and unprofessional !

Front desk rep Sara was very helpful and she allowed me to check in early with my elderly parents. The downside of staying here, they do not offer free breakfast. I stayed at La Quinta for 2 nights before checking in here, which they offer free breakfast.

I booked a room with a king bed, they gave us a 2 queen bed room. When I went to ask the front desk, she informed me that booking through a third party only guarantees a room not the specific room type, which makes no sense to me because why would I book a specific room if there was a chance I wouldn’t get it? It just seemed like they put someone in our room and trying to cover it up. Next time I book through Expedia I hope I actually end up with the room I booked. Disappointing

Great hotel close to the Texas Children’s Hospital in North Austin.

Everything was great. Everyone was nice, the property and room was clean. The location was perfect with many stores and restaurants close by. I would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable hotel, nice staff, well-designed rooms, with comfortable beds. A very nice place to stay. The only drawback is that like a lot of other places it is difficult to walk to anywhere and you need a car.

Easy access to freeway and mall. Dining options are literally outside the hotel.

Check-in and room were fine. The food/ bar was a problem. I’m not usually to picky but he grilled cheese advertised said 3 cheese. Not 1 thin slice unmelted. Attendant was very nice. Not his fault.

Everything was only bad thing was the $40 I spent on frozen breakfast potatoes had no flavor the pork sausage was still frozen was brought back a second time and was still frozen

This property nickeled and dimed you for everything. There was no complimentary breakfast, ok, but not even coffee.
