This is the second time staying on this property. Facilities and room itself were tidy and the staff was friendly unfortunately, the parking situation was atrocious. On this visit, I'm traveling with a broken ankle and the visit made it super difficult to overcome their lack of spaces. There was no VT games nor an influx of students (it's end of July), so we couldn't understand why they would cordoned off such a large chunk of parking spaces to the hotel. Additionally, the bathroom cabinet was damaged upon arrival. Other than these two factors, it was fine. We did not visit the pool or gym.

Stayed for six nights with small dog. Family nearby. Helpful staff and comfortable room. Able to sleep young grandchild overnight. Played in the pool over several days. Lots of traffic in hotel associated with the university. It could be a little cleaner.

This was an outstanding stay - the room was perfect, super clean & comfortable, lots of counter space, spotless, fully stocked kitchen. I was transferring here from a more "upscale" hotel because I had to extend my stay unexpectedly. This hotel blew the other one away! I will be seeking this one out first from now on. Excellent experience!

The property was clean and centrally located right next to Virginia Tech with plenty of walkable dining options for lunch and dinner. The breakfast at the hotel was ok. The staff could be more friendly upon check-in and inform guests of location of amenities such as the gym, pool and laundry. Other guests noted the same indifference from the front desk staff. Overall, the rooms were a good size and clean but should ensure the hard surfaces are wiped down as my room was dusty and hand soap was missing from the bathroom.

Horrible! No housekeeping for a five night stay. We asked several times and still no cleaning, picking up old towels, refilling soaps. I would ask and towels would be delivered but zero cleaning. And I should NOT have to ask for towels everyday. Ridiculous.

Convenient location. Walkable to VA Tech campus. Good breakfast included. Clean, spacious room. My main complaint is that the room thermostats didn't control the temperature. The hallway was nice and cool. Our room was 74F, despite using the AC on its coolest setting. Several other guests on the 3rd floor had their doors propped open, in an effort to cool their rooms. It was too warm to sleep comfortably.

A special thank you to Carlos, Lady, and Pila for their outstanding service and hospitality. Carlos, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me with the waffle toaster every morning. Despite the toaster being a bit old and tricky to operate, Carlos was always there with a friendly smile, ready to help me turn my waffles to perfection. Pila and Lady were consistently prompt in cleaning the tables both before and after use. Their diligence and cheerful demeanor added to the pleasant atmosphere of the breakfast area. Their efforts ensured that the dining space was always clean and inviting. The entire team was incredibly friendly and consistently willing to help with any request. They kept the breakfast area immaculate and well-organized, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests. Great property. The room size and convenience to campus was great. We walked to the stadium from the hotel (about a mile). Breakfast bar was fully stocked with different options each morning (2 weekend days) and coffee very good. The beds were comfortable and the full kitchen nice to have for tailgating.
