The property is conveniently located in the middle of the city. When you come outside there are lots of stores and structures to see. So going for a walk is ideal. The seating in the hotel is really nice. Breakfast was great. One of the night clerks is very helpful and pleasant to talk to. We arrived during a bad storm and she was very informative and calm. She also served us at the bar and its very obvious she loves her job. Every guest I passed in the hotel was pleasant as well. The only thing I didnt like is that the pool is smaller than I expected. However I loved how it was set up outside where you could see the courtyard.

The hotel as okay. Nothing extra to mention. The location is in the heart of downtown Sumter. Parking was not as convenient as I’d have liked. Staff were super nice and accommodating.

Perfect find! Wish all hotels were this easy to find, everything from parking, safety, 1 block from several dining options ** found amazing pub 2 bocks away across from a distillery that had a much better menu. Hotel is clean and a win!!

The property was very well kept. The common areas were accessible and clean. The bartenders were nice and it was very pleasant to see security constantly patrolling. However, the parking garage could use some TLC. Other than that, very pleasant stay!

The location of the hotel was excellent, especially with Oktoberfest happening during our stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful during check-in. We appreciated the daily hot breakfast with a variety of options. However, the hallways had an unpleasant sewage odor, which was off-putting. In our room, the bathroom wasn't up to standard; there was hair on the ceiling, and the interior door was dirty. The walls next to the bed were also stained. Additionally, the refrigerator didn't work properly, as it failed to keep our beverages cold.

My room was NOT CLEAN. There were little hairs all over the tub and toilet. Hair on the floor, holes in the sheets and staples in the bed. The staff was very accommodating and made sure my newro was very clean but, the above described was disgusting and disheartening especially b/c it was NOT my first time saying there.

The breakfast was not tended to so the area was not only almost empty by 830 but it was also a mess. The food itself was not good. The waffles were too hard to eat. The second morning the bacon was too hard to eat. There was hair on the walls of the shower. It looked as if it were from someone shaving their face. There was mildew on the grout. For what I paid per night I would have expected better.

The area is a downtown revitalization in progress so parts are great while others not as much. They cleaned our room once during our stay and didn't empty garbage, only switched out some towels and simply rehung others and removed the bath mat without replacing it. During our entire stay, there were bags of garbage on the floor around the garbage cans at the elevator. When we arrived later for breakfast, the offerings were limited.

The air conditioner was so loud i had to just turn it off. The fridge was broken. Then, i had my do not disturb sign on the door and handyman knocked once then used their key and opened the door. Luckily i wasn't in the shower or at least i had clothes on. Terrible

The room was very nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. My only complaint is the HVAC system which was noisy. It took a while to tune out the sound so we could sleep. I would advise the hotel to fix it in Room 201 since that's the room we stayed in. Otherwise, it's a great hotel.

The down button on the elevator wasn't working so we figured out we had to hit the up button, once in the elevator we had to wait for the door to close, then we could hit a lower floor. The front desk didn't mention it so maybe not aware. We will notify on checkout. Only stayed 1 night. Also, the room door slams shut. Otherwise it is very clean and quiet. The bed is very comfortable.

Not sure about the phone system. We weren’t able to make call to the desk. Not sure how the phone works. Seemed to be dead. Also the bathroom floor filled with water when using the handicap shower. It was messy.

Stayed in this location many times. Hotel facilities are nice but what puts this one at the top of the Sumter list is the hotel staff. The people working here are always welcoming , helpful , polite. They all seem to share a positive upbeat attitude. The lobby bar has improved with the addition a few workers with real bar experience. This creates a more upscale atmosphere that begs you to sit and linger and mingle with other guests. I’m booking my next stay here right now!

The facility was fine. My problem was with the staff. My girlfriend and I had one room booked through Expedia. My Girlfriends parents were in a second room booked directly with the hotel and provided their card for payment. The person who checked us in confused the reservation of the two rooms. A day after checkout I realized that I was charged for both rooms. I called the hotel to ask for a correction in the bill and was denied My Girlfriend called the hotel and was able to get the charges corrected. I am glad my Girlfriend was able to get this resolved but I was quite dissappointed with the way I the staff refused to work with me on this.

I arrived at 3:00 pm. I was not able to get a room until 4:21pm. Keys didn’t work had to go back to desk. They did them over was still hard to get in it finally opened. I had an event to go to by 6:00 I had to rush to get ready. When I got back the keys still would not work. I had to go back to the desk. Has not been well.

This location was ideal to see the sights in Downtown Sumter. Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. Very walkable area with plenty of restaurants and a couple of bars. Was a bit noisy as it is close to the hospital and ambulances are coming and going. Wish I had brought headphones.

Hotel is nice, and with it being right on the Main St, there are great dining options within walking distance. Enjoyed stay, but at the high price, I can't give an honest 5 stars because there weren't many perks....it was slightly disappointing that there wasn't any complimentary coffee in the lobby (as most nice hotels offer), and breakfast wasn't included. Still, we did enjoy our stay.

The breakfast was really bad. When we came to get ours, there were only a few pieces left, but nobody replenished the food, so I decided to skip and my husband got a cup of instant oatmeal. We’d also heard motorbike/sport car’s exhaust noise and train movement at night. The surrounding area was like a desert. The place is old/dated. Everything in the room is old and very much used. They seriously need to do some renovation/upgrade. We were glad that we only stayed for one night.
