Pros: - The grounds are beautiful - particularly the views from the pool. - The front desk staff were always very helpful, providing a tour of the resort upon check in, offering extra bottled water when we needed it, etc. - We had food by the pool each day and the caesar salad in particular was lovely. We also enjoyed the breakfast each day. Cons: - We would not classify the rooms as 5 star. They weren’t bad - but we don’t expect to see stained rugs, damaged and marked up walls, etc. There was also a smell coming from the pipes that smelled like rotten eggs on our second night there. - The resort chargers €30 to pick up or drop off guests at the nearby train station (2.5 miles and an 8 minute drive from the property). This is absurd, as an Uber only cost approx. €11 for the same journey. We thought this felt pretty petty of the hotel, especially when spending $750/night on a room.

The view from the hotel is incredible. The staff is available to help in any way possible. We stayed here in a comfort room for our honeymoon and couldn’t have had a better experience. The first day we explored the Calanque (quick walk from the hotel) and the second day just enjoyed the pool/ sea/ breakfast on the property. We will definitely plan to stay again!

This property is so beautiful I didn’t want to leave. Absolutely spectacular! The views of the Mediterranean from the lovely terraces, pools, restaurant, bar - just amazing. I definitely want to return and spend more time.

Amazing stay - it's definitely a secluded and stunning place That said, there are a lot of dogs are in the property and I'm sorry to say but as much as I love pets... maybe it would worth telling people that they will have a dog as their neighbors... it's sometime loud. Le cadre est absolument splendide, le site des Roches Blanches est exceptionnel. Toutefois, plusieurs points ne sont pas à la hauteur d’un hôtel 5 étoiles pratiquant des tarifs aussi élevés : La climatisation de notre chambre fonctionnait mal, avec un message "nettoyer filtre" affiché sur la télécommande. Il aurait été judicieux de procéder à l’entretien des filtres avant l’arrivée de la saison estivale. La salle de sport est indigne d’un établissement de ce standing : moins de 10 m², trois machines serrées, aucune place pour dérouler un tapis au sol. C’est franchement décevant. Beaucoup de clients extérieurs viennent profiter des installations de l’hôtel, ce qui nuit au calme et à l’exclusivité que l’on est en droit d’attendre. Nous avons pourtant déjeuné et dîné à plusieurs reprises dans les restaurants de l’hôtel. Lors du départ, j’ai spontanément partagé ces remarques à la réception, mais aucun geste commercial ni réelle écoute ne nous ont été proposés. En résumé, un lieu magique et un personnel globalement agréable, mais une expérience qui reste en deçà des standards attendus pour un établissement de ce niveau.

Vraiment dommage que les jardins étaient en travaux lors de notre arrivée , alors que l hôtel sort d une trêve de 2 mois , pas pu vraiment en profiter les 2 premiers jours où il faisait agréable

Great room, staff, views, amenities.. walkable into town. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Swimming in the sea was fun. Also a great location to hike to some of the Calanques. Cassis itself is charming. Great wine in the area, too. Truly so glad we chose to stay here. One of the nicest rooms & bathrooms of our trip- very spacious. Also one of the best hotels to take in the sun and sea. The deck/pool areas are tops- with lots of little areas to find your own little nook. (Even better than the fancy hotel we stayed at in St Tropez area) Would 100% stay here again.

We really enjoyed the area, location of this property as well as the view and beautiful grounds, but unfortunately, this property does not meet the standards of 5 star hotels on the inside. The property rooms are in need of major renovations. The rooms are small, the bathroom in the classic rooms has a tiny sink designed for children, not adults. The beds are uncomfortable, dirty hallway carpets and food is very average. Breakfast service had limited choices and same food everyday. Service at breakfast and dinner was painfully slow. Staff forgot our orders…one breakfast, it took 30 mins to get a cold cappuccino after flagging the servers multiple times. The concierge tries to sell you the most expensive services including boats, car service and other excursions. We were told that €90 euro car service was our only option to get to a dinner in la cuitat and Bolt and taxi wasn’t an option. I was able to call Bolt and arrived within minutes at the hotel. I was also extremely disappointed with the front desk staff for forgetting to cancel one of our dinner reservations. The restaurant called us after that we missed our reservations and were disappointed that the reservation wasn’t canceled. They also recommended a terrible, awful tourist trap restaurant in Cassis harbor called chez galbert. The food was absolutely disgusting and ridiculously overpriced. Though, we did not have a great experience with several aspects of this hotel, we did enjoy the spa and our massage.

Hôtel 5*? Après un accueil correct, on nous a fait visiter l'hôtel. C'est sûr la vue est magnifique. En revanche bien que la piscine ait l'air d'être magnifique également, la propreté autour de cette dernière laisse franchement à désirer. Aucun service de piscine. Les abords de la piscine sont sales. Les parasols sont déchirés, s'envolent au moindre coup de vent. Les employés vous disent que cela fait 2 ans qu'ils informent la direction de ce problème mais que rien n'est résolu. Les transats ne sont pas rangés.Aucun coin à l'ombre à cause des parasols qui s'envolent. Le service de chambre du soir est inexistant. C'àd que notre chambre a certainement été "oubliée". Dans notre douche, la moisissure est partout. La chambre est tout de même spacieuse et le lit confortable. Le petit déjeuner est juste correct. Mon mari a testé la carte de 2 restaurants et a été très déçu de la diversité des plats. Pas de salade hormis leur salade de tomates burrata. Le burger est insignifiant et les côtelettes d'agneau sont prises à défaut d'autre chose. Bref à 1000€ la chambre nous nous attendions à une prestation haut de gamme. Ce qui n'a pas du tout été le cas. Nous avions hâte de tester cet établissement eh bien c'est chose faite mais nous ne réitèrerons pas. Un couple avait réservé pour 15 jrs et je les ai entendus dire nous allons passer les 15 + longs jours de notre existence, heureusement qu'il y a des choses à faire à Cassis. Bref déçus. Et mes critiques st habituellement tjrs positives.

The whole property is majestic. The staff are very courteous and the surrounding area is beautiful and very walkable. The in house restaurant is amazing, albeit pricey. Our only minor quibble is house keeping didn’t come by more than once per day and didn’t grab all our garbage.

Les chambres classiques sont une honte au regard du prix (800€/nuit). Confort moyen, chambre digne d'un 2 étoiles, très étroite... Heureusement que le cadre extérieur de l'hôtel est sympa puisqu'on a évité autant que faire se peut la chambre. La restauration est vraiment moyenne. Seul point positif, la localisation et l'accueil des équipes.

A gorgeous view and property. The entry level rooms are truly tiny, however. The porter literally commented "oh, your room is very small" on dropping off our luggage. There also is no shower in the smallest room, only a bath tub.

The views from this property and overall setting are stunning no doubt. The restaurants also offer a lot of ambiance and are beautiful. We knew the rooms were small going in, but did not realize how low the ceilings were, and I felt that made them feel even smaller once there. Additionally, our room did not seem that luxurious for a junior suite, it was furnished sort of like a Marriott courtyard in my opinion. And although views from room were amazing, because we were just over the pool, as many rooms are, it is was hard to relax in room with curtain open when everyone could probably see in. It's not 5 stars. It's 3.5. The walls are thin and you will hear loud banging from people that are not directly above you. It's loud enough that if it were NY the police would be called. Great room, staff, views, amenities.. walkable into town. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Swimming in the sea was fun. Also a great location to hike to some of the Calanques. Cassis itself is charming. Great wine in the area, too. Truly so glad we chose to stay here. One of the nicest rooms & bathrooms of our trip- very spacious. Also one of the best hotels to take in the sun and sea. The deck/pool areas are tops- with lots of little areas to find your own little nook. (Even better than the fancy hotel we stayed at in St Tropez area) Would 100% stay here again.

This hotel is just EXQUISITE. The luxury is in the entire experience, from the boutique like feel to the pleasant calmness despite the large number of guests. We spent our first night in room 005 which was directly below the main restaurant.We got our room at 4pm and from 6.30-midnight all we could hear was scraping of Chairs and footfall.We complained the next morning and was eventually moved to room 501 at 4pm after complaining at 9am and waiting all day until 4pm for another room not great.The fair haired lady with green eyes on reception kept rolling her eyes when I asked if our room was ready rude beyond words.Then the room appointed had a leak on the balcony with constant running water again we had to be moved so non relaxing.We moved next door to room 502 which was lovely but hard to appreciate after constant issues.A lot of guests were complaining.Upon checking out I asked for names of certain members who were helpful.Again the rude receptionist I was told was called Aline whispering away infront of me soooo unprofessional and has zero customer service skills.Woukd not recommend.Beautiful view is all I can complement.

I wish I could give 5 stars because the hotel is gorgeous and the location is perfect. However the staff maybe the entire experience bad. James at the front desk was amazing when we arrived and Roma is the person who really made the entire stay enjoyable. However, the rest of the staff are rude, dismissive and clearly whisper about you. Just want to mention Roma again for helping us set up an amazing boat trip and driving us around Cassis, he is amazing!!

Il aurait été judicieux de procéder à l’entretien des filtres avant l’arrivée de la saison estivale. La salle de sport est indigne d’un établissement de ce standing : moins de 10 m², trois machines serrées, aucune place pour dérouler un tapis au sol. C’est franchement décevant. Beaucoup de clients extérieurs viennent profiter des installations de l’hôtel, ce qui nuit au calme et à l’exclusivité que l’on est en droit d’attendre. Nous avons pourtant déjeuné et dîné à plusieurs reprises dans les restaurants de l’hôtel. Lors du départ, j’ai spontanément partagé ces remarques à la réception, mais aucun geste commercial ni réelle écoute ne nous ont été proposés. En résumé, un lieu magique et un personnel globalement agréable, mais une expérience qui reste en deçà des standards attendus pour un établissement de ce niveau.

The view from the hotel is incredible. The staff is available to help in any way possible. We stayed here in a comfort room for our honeymoon and couldn’t have had a better experience. The first day we explored the Calanque (quick walk from the hotel) and the second day just enjoyed the pool/ sea/ breakfast on the property. We will definitely plan to stay again!

Wow, wow, wow. This hotel is stunning. Amazing in every way. Beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good restaurants and one of a kind scenic setting in Cassis. We really enjoyed the area, location of this property as well as the view and beautiful grounds, but unfortunately, this property does not meet the standards of 5 star hotels on the inside. The property rooms are in need of major renovations. The rooms are small, the bathroom in the classic rooms has a tiny sink designed for children, not adults. The beds are uncomfortable, dirty hallway carpets and food is very average. Breakfast service had limited choices and same food everyday. Service at breakfast and dinner was painfully slow. Staff forgot our orders…one breakfast, it took 30 mins to get a cold cappuccino after flagging the servers multiple times. The concierge tries to sell you the most expensive services including boats, car service and other excursions. We were told that €90 euro car service was our only option to get to a dinner in la cuitat and Bolt and taxi wasn’t an option. I was able to call Bolt and arrived within minutes at the hotel. I was also extremely disappointed with the front desk staff for forgetting to cancel one of our dinner reservations. The restaurant called us after that we missed our reservations and were disappointed that the reservation wasn’t canceled. They also recommended a terrible, awful tourist trap restaurant in Cassis harbor called chez galbert. The food was absolutely disgusting and ridiculously overpriced. Though, we did not have a great experience with several aspects of this hotel, we did enjoy the spa and our massage.

The staff at this property went to such great lengths to make our stay a true five-star experience. I cannot emphasize how unprepared I was for this his level of care. The whole property is majestic. The staff are very courteous and the surrounding area is beautiful and very walkable. The in house restaurant is amazing, albeit pricey. Our only minor quibble is house keeping didn’t come by more than once per day and didn’t grab all our garbage.

The fish at Rocco was very fishy as well (they called it pork on their regular menu). Fish at nicer restaurant cooked to order was very good, but $100 per person and only came with a few potatoes and veggies. Probably the best features at the hotel are the pool areas and the casual restaurant area although it was closed due to weather. We thus could not find any real American style appetizers anywhere late in the afternoon unless you want caviar. We found the town quaint and small, with some nicer shops, but nothing too upscale, nor any restaurants on that level. hotel transportation provided

Cassis itself is charming. Great wine in the area, too. Truly so glad we chose to stay here. One of the nicest rooms & bathrooms of our trip- very spacious.
