A 15mn à pied de la plage par un chemin et du centre-ville. Pas d’ascenseur, donc pas pratique pour les gros bagages. Salle de petit déjeuner impersonnelle et assez petite. Pas de préparation cuisinée à part œufs brouillés tout le reste est assez industriel.

This place is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a private taxi service that is easy of use. The rooms are clean and modern. Great place to stay in Hvar. The pool is a major plus and there is also a beach 10 minutes from the place (requires a very short hike) it is worth!

Lovely manager & very helpful. Yummy breakfast every day. Room was immaculate & 2 pools open all day/night for whenever you want to cool off. Great location if you want to be close to best beaches. Highly recommend!

Staff was extremely friendly and qent out of their way to ensure that our sray was as comfortable as possible. Rooms were very clean and the entire property seems to be under renovation. Highly recommend !

The rooms are huge and very comfortable. There were tons of mosquitos in our room and I got quite a few bites. When I mentioned this to the front desk as it seemed like they were somehow getting inside because I would kill all of them and more would appear, they said “well what do you expect we are next to the ocean.” While I understand it might be hard to prevent mosquitos so close to the water, I was a little thrown back by the tone and delivery of the response I got.

We checked in the room and the toilet seat was dirty with stains and the rubbish bin in the toilet was full. We escalated this to the reception and they cleaned it right away but it was surprising. The room is small but modern. The breakfast is healthy. They offer a taxi service for a reduced price to town; they said to call a number to book this taxi, twice we called on two nights and nobody picked up. If you book the taxi in advance at reception it’s better. The staff are friendly. At 8am there was a very loud noise in our room, I think it’s the room next door using the shower, not good sound isolation

We had a wonderful stay at Teranea. They were helpful and nice to us. The room was great, it had everything you want and it was clean. We had a balcony with viev and the beds were confortable. Nice pool and breakfast. The only thing we should have done is to take a taxi with the luggage, because it was a bit of a challenge to get there with the luggage, but when you are there, it is worth it.

We stayed at the hotel for three days as a family of four, with children ages 8 and 7. The unit was comfortable and high end. The website doesn't picture the bathrooms, but they were excellent as well - I love a good waterfall shower head! The real star of the stay was the service. Marija went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable, arranged for tours, walked us to the tour operator meeting points to make sure we didn't get lost, and arranged for babysitters for the kids so my husband and I could go off on our own. As we were checking out, the bartender told us to call him if we had any issues at our next stop in Croatia. Phillip and Helena were also exceptionally nice. A few notes if you are traveling with kids: - There were a few groups of 20 somethings staying at the hotel at the same time as us, but it wasn't an issue. We stayed in B1 and I would recommend a unit closer to reception as it seemed quieter on our side of the hotel. - The units were incredibly soundproof and quiet hours at 11 pm were strictly enforced. Maria also checked in to ensure that noise wasn't an issue each morning. - The pools are six feet deep, so bring floats for children if they are not strong swimmers. - There is only a bar at the hotel (no food), however there is a carry out place and grocery store within easy walking distance of the hotel. - The location is sufficiently far enough from downtown Hvar that it is easy to get to, but also perfect for a family.

The room was less than tiny, very uncomfortable, not even a chair fit in it. The location is up the hill from the city center. Breakfast was fine. A special mention to the staff that was outstanding, specifically Bronco, a very nice guy. I am sorry but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend it.

Things I wish I knew: no restaurant onsite, only lobby area breakfast. No ‘deli’ or other food options available onsite, although indicated on the property details. Cooking meals is easy to do in the room. Hotel is noted as ‘12 minute walk’ from the port. It is almost a mile (1.6km) and uphill. Located in a residential area, little to do around the property. The reception staff Nina and Bronco were exceptionally good to us throughout our entire stay. Their dining recommendations were perfect and they even walked us to the path that leads to the best beach. Nina could not do enough for us was so personable and made us feel at home. Our breakfast buffet was delicious each day and Anna made sure everything was perfect. Great cappuccinos ! Our room was clean and modern with comfortable beds. 10 out of 10 for Hotel Teranea!

A few notes if you are traveling with kids: - There were a few groups of 20 somethings staying at the hotel at the same time as us, but it wasn't an issue. We stayed in B1 and I would recommend a unit closer to reception as it seemed quieter on our side of the hotel. - The units were incredibly soundproof and quiet hours at 11 pm were strictly enforced. We checked in the room and the toilet seat was dirty with stains and the rubbish bin in the toilet was full. We escalated this to the reception and they cleaned it right away but it was surprising. The room is small but modern. The breakfast is healthy. They offer a taxi service for a reduced price to town; they said to call a number to book this taxi, twice we called on two nights and nobody picked up. If you book the taxi in advance at reception it’s better. The staff are friendly. At 8am there was a very loud noise in our room, I think it’s the room next door using the shower, not good sound isolation

A lovely family run apartment hotel. Check in was not the friendliest but after the first day everyone was lovely. We were in B 2 It does not have a private sitting area or balcony and the pool area was too full to use during the day. The units with balconies would be fine. Everything was very clean and it appeared that they tried had to please the guests

Recently renovated property with two really nice pools and great view. Breakfast buffet and water/coffee at all times was nice. Rooms/AC in great condition and really friendly staff. Great value for what you're getting. Only downside is it's a 20 min walk from downtown with some hills/stairs.

The room was less than tiny, very uncomfortable, not even a chair fit in it. The location is up the hill from the city center. Breakfast was fine. A special mention to the staff that was outstanding, specifically Bronco, a very nice guy. I am sorry but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend it.

Really nice place to stay. Very polite and accommodating. About a 10-15 minute walk from the town which is fine, just a little tricky (slippery) if it rains. Breakfast was great, the rooms look brand new and beds are comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Teranea. They were helpful and nice to us. The room was great, it had everything you want and it was clean. We had a balcony with viev and the beds were confortable. Nice pool and breakfast. The only thing we should have done is to take a taxi with the luggage, because it was a bit of a challenge to get there with the luggage, but when you are there, it is worth it.

The reception staff Nina and Bronco were exceptionally good to us throughout our entire stay. Their dining recommendations were perfect and they even walked us to the path that leads to the best beach. Nina could not do enough for us was so personable and made us feel at home. Our breakfast buffet was delicious each day and Anna made sure everything was perfect. Great cappuccinos ! Our room was clean and modern with comfortable beds. 10 out of 10 for Hotel Teranea!
