Great property, cozy yet spacious. Well appointed and in a fabulous position. Good cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Definitely a few hills in Surry Hills so be prepared for a bit of exercise. Easy access all the same to pretty much everything. We would book again.

Beautifully aged and appointed property. Walking access to food, bar and social hubs. A short stroll to the well appointed dog park which my puppies loved. This was a great way to meet the local community.

The ground floor (subject to stair issues discussed below) is lovely as is the outdoor space. The location is excellent. The concierge who greets you warrants a 10 out of 10. However, the stairs are very narrow and very steep and made out of concrete. Getting to the bathroom in the middle of the night is precarious. While the railing is very robust, it doesn't remove the risk of using the stairs. There is also a stair from the kitchen down to the bathroom level - it is much too high (exacerbated by the fact that two minor stairs in the kitchen are both too low). We found items under the cushions of the sofa left from previous guests, and, while hunting for something, also found filth behind the sofa. The TV in the livingroom is not functioning (this from someone who has used Apple TV, Chromecast (both external and in a Smart TV). I did not bother to check the second TV upstairs. There was only water in the shampoo bottle in the shower and no conditioner. Our visit was amazing but the accommodation is not for seniors, even seniors who are very active. The property manager has no positive communication - there are "pat" emails that could have been sent by a 10 year old. Nothing friendly or helpful. After meeting such a lovely concierge, it was surprising and disappointing that the "back office" is terse and unfriendly (when I tried to explain this after I left, I was sent a number of rude and accusatory messages by either the manager or the owner).
