Just 15 minutes walk from entrance 3 to the Plitvice Lakes national park, this is an ideal location for visiting the park. Jasmine provided excellent information about how best to do this, by email before arrival (how to buy park tickets online) and also when we were there (the best route to take). Breakfast and dinner could be booked. Cash is required for meals and drinks. The food was excellent. 3 options were offered for the main dinner course. I particularly enjoyed the local trout.

Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful location up a thin windy road not too far from Plitvice National Park. The staff were very accommodating and looked after our every need. The food was great but be sure to take enough money to pay cash for the meals.

Started a great day for breakfast at the terrace. Staffs are friendly and helpful, just 15 minutes walk to Entrance 3. Lovely room with comfortable bed for next day walk. Food was delicious and value for money, just need to prepare more cash as they don’t accept card.

The location is great as one the entrances into the park is only a ten minute walk. I was able to leave my car at the hotel. Super convenient. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and fun.

Idyllic location near Plitvice Fall which is perfect for those looking to go to the national Park (hotel is very close to 3rd entrance which is quieter than the other 2). The rooms are decently sized and modern, and is supported by ample parking. There is a restaurant conveniently located at the bottom of the hotel serving delicious dinner and breakfast too! The hotel staff were amazingly helpful and gave us the perfect route / day plan for the national park. All in all, the perfect hotel for those looking to do a day or two at the national park.

Plitvace Falls Cottages was lovely, comfortable rooms and extremely clean. Staff were very attentive and provided great information on walking around the falls and lovely home cooked meals. Highly recommend!

The room was immaculate and very warm with central heating, which was much needed due to the outside temp of below minus 6, Mae and Ruel the staff go over and beyond to help, nothing is to much trouble, for them, even helping to dig out snowed in cars, evening meal are great good choice of set menu or Al a cart, very reasonable priced, and freshly cooked to order, breakfast is buffet style with, a wide range of choices omelette and eggs can be cooked to order and again reasonably priced for the selection

Jasmine was so helpful and kind. The food was excellent and location was within walking distance to the National park. New and exceptionally clean with pleasant staff. We recommend this quiet out of the way and private location. Exceptional.

Overall the stay was great ! Walkable distance to the entrance 3 of the plitvice lakes . The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, place was spotless and offered a great breakfast. The only issue was that the aircon was centralised and couldnt be controlled within the room.however slept well with windows open to cool the room down.

We had the top floor of the cottage. It was comfortable and great for our family for one night. It was convenient to get to Plivitce Falls. We did eat dinner and breakfast there, since it was raining and we didn't feel like driving out. Dinner (off season price, I believe) was $30 a person; the mushroom soup was delicious, dessert was good, the chicken and the pork entree were fine. The fish, I would stay away from. It was called tuna (I still have my doubts) but it was very fishy and not cooked evenly, I had a hard time finishing it. Then I spent part of the night googling "What happens if you eat bad fish?" Turns out I was fine, nothing happened. Just don't order the fish. Breakfast was good $20/pp. In the top floor, there is only one heater for the whole apartment, which sits in the living space, so if you close the doors at night the heat doesn't go between rooms. There are air conditioners in each room. Also, there is nowhere to hand a towel in the bathroom, which is a little odd but not a huge deal. Would I go back? Maybe, it is convent to the gorgeous park by it and you can stop and see the waterfalls easily along the way. The host was wonderful too and I met the cook and she was very nice.

We had a truly memorable stay at B&B Plitvis Hills, located just a short walk from Entrance 3 of the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. This peaceful, well-maintained guesthouse is the perfect base for exploring the lakes—especially if you’re looking to avoid the crowds and soak in the natural beauty at your own pace. Rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable, with lovely touches and great views of the surrounding hills and forest. The property is tucked away enough to feel remote and tranquil, yet still perfectly positioned for easy access to the park. What really made our stay special, though, was the incredible hospitality. Ivan is an exceptional host. Ivan went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—at one point even filleting a freshly cooked fish at our table with the utmost care. Jasmine gave us a fantastic route through the lakes that helped us completely avoid the main traffic and allowed us to take hundreds of uninterrupted photos of the most scenic spots. Breakfast was fresh and generous, and the peaceful setting made each morning feel like a retreat. The only small downside was dinner. While the food was well prepared, the dinner menu wasn’t clearly explained, and with limited nearby dining options, it did feel a bit overpriced—€28 for a simple grilled chicken dish seemed excessive. A little more clarity and flexibility around the evening meals would really enhance the experience. Everything else about this B&B was outstanding!

Incredible location and beautiful spacious room. It's not a cottage at all but a lovely modern room with an huge bathroom in an old home so close to the park. We could enter the park at 6:00 am and walk around without the crowds. The staff Ivan and Jasmine were wonderful and so helpful with park information too. 15 min and you are in the park. Nice restaurant for dinner too!

The room was nice and new. There were only a few outlets so we took turns charging our phones, and we were not given the wifi password and couldn’t access the tv or our phones. Luckily we both like to read. Other than that the location was good, the grounds were nice and the food was good too. We also got great directions to do the park which helped us a lot.

A quiet location about 20 mins drive from the main entrance to Pitlivici National Park. The hotel is very nice and the staff very helpful. Dinner is around €50-60 per person with a drink and breakfast €20. The one downside was that the bedroom doors don't provide soundproofing and you hear anyone going by on the corridor.

The Staff was fantastic. They were so helpful with tips about visiting the park - which was beautiful- and we had great service in the dining area. The food was delicious- especially the dinners. We ate there both nights of our stay - it was so convenient. Just make sure you have cash for the meals at checkout. They don’t accept credit cards.

I can't say enough about our stay at Plitvice Falls Cottage. First, due to many travel complications, we were unable to arrive until 2:00 a.m. for check-in. Silvija graciously accommodated is and welcomed us with a smile and great understanding. After a wonderful breakfast of homemade pastries, yogurts, meats, breads etc...We left early for the National Park. You take an easy 15 minute walk to Entrance 3. We returned to our car at the Cottage more than 5 hours later and inquired about the closest Cafe or restaurant as we were famished. The response, do you want brushes bruscetta and an antipasto plate. Really?! Of course we do. How kind of Silvija and the amazing cook. I hope to rewritten return again! Thank You!!!

Staff were excellent OZI was so helpful and everyone was really friendly. She explained all the options for the park , made sure we had everything we needed and offered options for food if we’d like . Would definitely Recommend a stay here and we would love to come back another time x

This was our favorite stay on a Croatia road trip. It's a beautiful boutique hotel within walking distance to the national park, with other walks with views around as well. The staff was so helpful, went above and beyond to make us and our 7 month old comfortable (a cot was provided for baby, and a high chair in the restaurant at dinner). The room was spotless and very well decorated and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this for your national park trip.

Cannot say enough good things about Plitvice Falls Cottage. Jasmin is the absolute best. Not only is she a wonderful hostess she is so knowledgeable. She gave the best tips about walking to the park and getting around. It made the absolute best day. The meals at the cottage were wonderful as well. Overall the stay was great ! Walkable distance to the entrance 3 of the plitvice lakes . The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, place was spotless and offered a great breakfast. The only issue was that the aircon was centralised and couldnt be controlled within the room.however slept well with windows open to cool the room down.

We had a truly memorable stay at B&B Plitvis Hills, located just a short walk from Entrance 3 of the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. This peaceful, well-maintained guesthouse is the perfect base for exploring the lakes—especially if you’re looking to avoid the crowds and soak in the natural beauty at your own pace. Rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable, with lovely touches and great views of the surrounding hills and forest. The property is tucked away enough to feel remote and tranquil, yet still perfectly positioned for easy access to the park. What really made our stay special, though, was the incredible hospitality. Ivan is an exceptional host. Ivan went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—at one point even filleting a freshly cooked fish at our table with the utmost care. Jasmine gave us a fantastic route through the lakes that helped us completely avoid the main traffic and allowed us to take hundreds of uninterrupted photos of the most scenic spots. Breakfast was fresh and generous, and the peaceful setting made each morning feel like a retreat. The only small downside was dinner. Incredible location and beautiful spacious room. It's not a cottage at all but a lovely modern room with an huge bathroom in an old home so close to the park. We could enter the park at 6:00 am and walk around without the crowds. The staff Ivan and Jasmine were wonderful and so helpful with park information too. 15 min and you are in the park. Nice restaurant for dinner too!

The location is great as one the entrances into the park is only a ten minute walk. I was able to leave my car at the hotel. Super convenient. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and fun.

The Staff was fantastic. They were so helpful with tips about visiting the park - which was beautiful- and we had great service in the dining area. The food was delicious- especially the dinners. We ate there both nights of our stay - it was so convenient. Just make sure you have cash for the meals at checkout. They don’t accept credit cards.

We had the top floor of the cottage. It was comfortable and great for our family for one night. It was convenient to get to Plivitce Falls. We did eat dinner and breakfast there, since it was raining and we didn't feel like driving out. Dinner (off season price, I believe) was $30 a person; the mushroom soup was delicious, dessert was good, the chicken and the pork entree were fine. The fish, I would stay away from. It was called tuna (I still have my doubts) but it was very fishy and not cooked evenly, I had a hard time finishing it. Then I spent part of the night googling "What happens if you eat bad fish?" Turns out I was fine, nothing happened. Just don't order the fish. Breakfast was good $20/pp. In the top floor, there is only one heater for the whole apartment, which sits in the living space, so if you close the doors at night the heat doesn't go between rooms. There are air conditioners in each room. Also, there is nowhere to hand a towel in the bathroom, which is a little odd but not a huge deal. Would I go back? Maybe, it is convent to the gorgeous park by it and you can stop and see the waterfalls easily along the way. The host was wonderful too and I met the cook and she was very nice.

The room was immaculate and very warm with central heating, which was much needed due to the outside temp of below minus 6, Mae and Ruel the staff go over and beyond to help, nothing is to much trouble, for them, even helping to dig out snowed in cars, evening meal are great good choice of set menu or Al a cart, very reasonable priced, and freshly cooked to order, breakfast is buffet style with, a wide range of choices omelette and eggs can be cooked to order and again reasonably priced for the selection

My friend and I stayed at Plitvice Fall Cottage for a day. We had a wonderful time here. From the pick up from the bus station to check in everything went so smoothly. Dominik, Natali and together with all the workers here are so friendly and helpful. The seabass dinner was fantastic! Breakfast was delicious with many choices. We enjoy the stay very much. We would definitely come back again.

Property is in great location to the park. Room is small and shower and bathroom is all marble with the shower spraying all over the floor which made it dangerous to slip. Only one pillow for each person and no extras in the room. Can tell they are trying to do their best but I would not stay there again.
