Great hotel to kickstart our east coast trip! Only about a 15min drive into downtown halifax which is a blast! Hotel was super clean, pool was awesome and it even had a starbucks! 100% would recommended

Comfortable and spacious room, very quiet for a good night sleep. Bistro Bar served good food for an evening snack and a drink. Nice pool area. Close to Dartmouth shopping outlets and IKEA.

The in-house bistro had an outdoor courtyard attached. It was delightful. The room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. The Dartmouth location was very handy to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely go back.

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly. Great rooms. My only complaint is the lack of EV chargers. Perhaps it's time to upgrade to have at least 3 chargers. It's a slow charger so guests are likely to use one all night. Besides that it was a wonderful stay.

Hotel is great pool is nice and big hot tub is nice and big a good temperature for both. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the floor it was extremely slippery and dirty it was concerning for myself and I’d be concerned for children running in there. Property is beautiful clean and up to date

New and modern property close to big box stores. Excellent for families as there is ample room and a pool with a water slide and hot tub. EV owners should call ahead to check whether charging station is up and running.

Very comfortable bed and clean room . The pool and hot tub are well maintained and kept clean. Everything was perfect , except ot seems the person or people stayed in our room prior to us had very strong body odor which could be smelled by setting on the couch , or walking around the room. Thankfully the bed and bedsheets were clean and did not smell like that 😀 We used room sprays and axe body sprays to elemenate the smell i mentioned with some success . Honestly the hotel should charge extra for cleaning the room after people with this kind of strong body odor stays with them . Any way aprat from that the hotel is 5 star. Close to lots of amenities. Great location, friendly front desk staff and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. I recommend this hotel if its within your budget.

Room needed a deep cleaning. Only the surfaces and area you walk were clean. Lots of dust in the corners and all along baseboards. Shower had a lot of mold in the grout. Requested room service since Marriott now is doing every other day. Service never came. Staff need more training

I heard water ruall night, every toilet flush seemed to pass by my room. Doors slamming all night! I dropped something beside the bed and had to move one of the bedside tables to retrieve my object. I don't think that side table has been pulled out since the hotel was built.It was absolutely disgustingly dirty and dusty. Not impressed!

The sink was not clean. There was an unpleasant smell as soon as we entered and had to ask them to spray air freshner. The room did not have Sri king water we had to purchase a tiny bottle for $4. Carpets were not clean, the coffee machine was dirty. Even though the staff was a little friendly the room was not clean. I would not recommend staying here.

It’s unfortunate because the Hotel looks fairly new Hotel but they are not keeping it clean and if they don’t change it will deteriorate rapidly. We complained about finding dirty paper tissues on the floor next to the bed, that could have been something forgotten behind but the hallway on my floor needed to be vacuumed the cleaning crew we’re working on that floor the next morning I left the hotel late the carpet was still dirty, the elevators weren’t clean, wet floors from the pool, nobody was cleaning the tables while I was having breakfast etc… I’m not sure if they are short staffed but they really need to improve.

I loved staying at the Courtyard by Marriott. It was so quiet and clean and when we needed something it was fixed within minutes. Only downside was our room didn’t have a microwave which we thought came with all hotel rooms but I guess not so we weren’t too happy. Overall was an amazing stay though.

It was an overnighter to do some shopping and visit a friend. The room was very clean and spacious, loved the stand up shower but the bed was a bit hard and had a sore back in the morning. Overall it was a good stay.

Thank you to the staff. Allowed me to check in early after over night flight. Absolutely made my day Thank you. After finding out my flight home the next morning was canceled they were able to keep me in the same room for another night. Greatly appreciated. Definitely will be staying again as my kids liked the pool and water slide. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Job well done!

Attitude of some of front desk Also not changing sheets on beds and supplying clean towels each day unless you ask and sometimes argue Been staying there for several trips but pribably will check elsewhere in Dartmouth next time

Very clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Bed and bedding were excellent. Staff were attentive and friendly. Nice to have Starbucks in the lobby and their breakfast options were affordable. Area was very busy and hard to navigate on foot but very convenient for shopping. Definitely recommend and will return.

As always, the rooms were comfortable. Amenities were limited - very little available on the television (i.e., only Netflix). The Bistro leaves a lot to be desired - never thought breakfast could be ruined. Excellent staff and service, however; very attentive and helpful.

It was easy to find, and comfortable. Lots of walkable shops, plus Costco and IKEA close by. Dining within the hotel was limited. Macdonalds and Tim Horton close by, and several other restaurants .

Everything was great accept two minor issues. Parking is ample but the stalls are a little tight. I picked up a couple of new door dings in just one night. The only other issue, which is common in the industry is the Bistro is a little pricey, a bagel for $6.50. The room was great and nicely designed. The staff are very friendly. I will probably make this my go to hotel in Dartmouth/Halifax.

Nice, clean room and bathroom was extra large with plenty of counter space. Parking was easy and it’s nearby to some restaurants and shopping (walking distance). Would be nice if it had included breakfast for the price that was paid for the room. We had breakfast at the nearby McDonalds instead.
