Amazing location within walking distance to affordable dining, shopping and attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. AC worked great. The 24/7 lounge/breakfast area was an added bonus if you want a snack, coffee or juice any time throughout the day or night.

Very nice enjoyed our stay…..Loved that there was an elevator but do wish there was a bit better lighting in the room very dim….but again very comfortable. Good location.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived early and the room was ready so we checked in early. The properties greatest asset is its location, everything is within walking distance and close to the Metro and bus station too. We checked out and left our luggage there which is a big help when you have a later flight. We would recommend a stay hear for a city break. Mick & Jo

The location is excellent, a walking distance to many landmarks and attractions but also feel as easygoing as in a neighborhood. It's a perfect option if you just want a place not too fancy but be able to walk around comfortably.

Our stay here was very pleasant. Everything is within walking distance and the rooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly and, even though we didn’t book breakfast, coffee, juices, and snacks are available around the clock. We spent four wonderful days here and would love to come back.

This place was amazing. Although the room was small, it was perfect. Five minute drive from the main train station. Elevator to floor. And easy pick up area for taxi. Anyone who has been to Rome knows the importance of this. Staff was friendly, room had amazing beds and the air conditioning actually worked! Best for couples as no privacy in shower/bathroom but definitely staying here again. Grazie Mille!

The hotel was in a great location, walkable to the termini and Colosseum. The room was lovely, and the staff was super helpful, allowing us to store our luggage before check-in and after checkout. We would recommend Nerva Accommodation Cavour.

Very convenient location with walking distances to the Roma Termini (Train Station) and the historical sites like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and yes walkable to the Pantheon too (which we did). Lots of great local area restaurants to wander around and find and we adored the cafe directly beside the front door of the hotel. One pro tip that wasn't communicated (or we failed to notice) is you have to enter a PIN number to open the front door of the hotel and take an elevator (or stairs) up to the 2nd floor (or 3rd floor to Americans) to the front desk.

Nerva Accomodation is perfectly situated for visiting the central historical districts in Rome. A short walk in one direction will take you to a Metro station, a bit of a longer walk, but still relatively short, will take you to Termini as well as the intersection of two metro lines, all of which are easy to use. The property itself has a rustic charm, providing clean, comfortable rooms, coffee machines on the two floors we were on, and snack items, fresh fruit and yoghurt available anytime you wanted. A slight frustration is the desk staffing, which is from 1000-1800, but is quite workable. The staff was wonderful, pleasant and always helpful. Abundant hot water and water pressure, air conditioning also worked well.Door codes provide entry into the building as well as into the various units on the floors. We felt very safe here..according to Expedia, laundry service is available, but this is not the case, as well as breakfast for 5 Euros,which was not available either, but the goodies, fruits, juices, yoghurts, and coffee available were enough to get you started, and there was cereal as well, no charges for this. We had a delightful time!

This is a great little property in a convenient location for all the main sites, termini station and the metro / buses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the Team made it easy for us. I think for the number of stars of accommodation and price, it’s very good - clean, comfortable, nice little touches like coffee machine, pastries for the morning and flower decorations, daily beds making and shampoo sachets. It felt safe and we had no concerns at all. I was there as a single mum of two for four nights and we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

I usually don't like to do bad reviews but this one was a hard to let pass. I chose that hotel because of location and the room. Location is great but the room was disappointing. First of, it doesn't feel vintage, it feels old with broken furniture. We stayed 4 nights, and NEVER had the room cleaned. We put the tag on the door asking for a house cleaner and they only changed the towels and took out the trash. The reason that I chose that room was because the jacuzzi, that was big. Guess what, we couldn't really use much because after using it it get dirty. After first night, I tried to clean myself to use it again, but after second time it got too dirty. We arrived on Friday, after checking in, we sent a message asking to refill the shampoo and body lotion bottle that was on the wall, SHE NEVER REPLIED. she just disappeared the whole time, a night before check out she texted me to ask what time we would check out. Thank God we had shampoo and conditioner, otherwise we would have to buy it. That room is extremely humid, we had to empty out the humidifier every single night, plus it get really hot the room. There's one A/C splinter in the other room and it's not enough to cool down the whole studio, specially if you had the jacuzzi on with hot water. It says complimentary drinks, literally was one bottle of juice in the mini fridge. It was really frustrating since Rome was our last destination and we were so tired and wanted to enjoy more the jacuzzi.

Had a great time in Rome, but a few things about the Nerva cavour hotel could have made it even better. Toilet seat was broken. Should have complained but didn't. No hooks anywhere to hang towels or anything. Tv didn't work. No shower but a sprayer in the Hot tub . Couldnt fill the hot tub as we couldnt turn sprayer off when running the tap so water everywhere. We put dirty wet towels in bath after use for clean towels,but when we returned all the dirty wet towels had been hung up again in different places without being changed.Did ask for clean ones,no problem and didnt happen again. As for room cleaning, only bed was made, no cleaning occured.No safe in room so had to hide valuables. Staff on reception very nice. Just little things that could have made a difference.

Our room was really cute, comfortable and feels clean although the sink has a sewage smell but only when you are near it and it doesn't go in the bedroom. The sink was beautifully designed though. The building was old but the shower and flush has a good water pressure. No where to habg towels. There was a radiator but not enough space. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Only lacking place to put your things so have to place bags on the floor or inside the wardrobe. There were also some coffee and snacks which were very thoughtful. Hotel was like 15 mins or less to the colosseum and many restaurants and shops outside the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant and wonderful stay.

Very friendly staff, helpful with prompt communication on whatsapp. I said I was going to be late and they made arrangements for me. The building has a lot of character, somewhat unusual layout, but excellently maintained and charming. Room was open-plan with WC+bidet attachment, had a great shower, TV, good AC, hairdryer, windows for ventilation, plenty of power sockets (ITA/EU). a cupboard for hanging suits/dresses. Spotelessly clean. Pillows were a bit "square" for my taste but hardly an issue. The door to room 11 needs a firm pull/push to close/lock properly. Biscuits, juices, fruit and coffee provided as mentioned on 3rd foor. Excellent location, 10-15 min walk from the central train station, about 20 mins from the Colluseum, Victor Emmanual 2nd Memorial and Roman Forum. Further out Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and (personal favorite) Basilica di Saint'Andrea della Valle, all within a 1hr walk. Buses and Metro nearby to go to the Vatican or elsewhere. There's a good Pasta restaurant, pizzeria and a few convinience shops within 5 min walk for food and drink. Overall great location, helpful staff, does everything I'd expect and well priced, I would definitely stay again, Grazie :)

Im Frühstücksraum gab es jederzeit Kaffee, frisches Obst, Joghurt, Säfte und Snacks. Die Lage des Hotels war hervorragend – alle Sehenswürdigkeiten waren nur einen Schritt entfernt. Für uns als drei Frauen war es besonders wichtig, dass das Hotel sicher war. Das engagierte und hilfsbereite Personal war ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt. Für einen kurzen Städtetrip können wir das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Wer eine ruhige, saubere und sichere Unterkunft im Zentrum sucht, trifft hier eine gute Wahl. Hervorragend für einen Städtetrip! Die Zimmer waren super sauber und das Personal durchweg freundlich. Auch der spontane Transfer hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Ich kann die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Fantastic location a breeze to get to most sights, wonderful large clean high ceiling rooms, friendly staff and a delight to stay in and return to after tiring days walking for miles. Burlesque, cute and would definitely stay again and highly recommended from a family.with young children. Bery safe , shops opposite for late night snacks and restaurants on every corner

Lovely property in a good location all within walking distance of the main tourist areas. Property felt safe and secure and staff were always helpful when needed. Breakfast items were available each day and you just helped yourself whenever you liked. Only thing that could have been better was the WiFi and the air conditioning as it didn’t appear to get cold, however that wouldn’t put me off staying here again.

Huge room with vaulted ceilings. Closet is small and not many plug outlets so make sure to pack light and bring outlet spliter for all your electronic devices. Very walkable to everywhere in Rome including Roma Central and nearby metro stop. We did arrive late and used WhatsApp to communicate with very easy instructions with pictures so we knew we were in right room. Enjoy the tight elevator. When in Rome do as the Romans do. Get squished ;)

Very friendly staff, helpful with prompt communication on whatsapp. I said I was going to be late and they made arrangements for me. The building has a lot of character, somewhat unusual layout, but excellently maintained and charming. Room was open-plan with WC+bidet attachment, had a great shower, TV, good AC, hairdryer, windows for ventilation, plenty of power sockets (ITA/EU). a cupboard for hanging suits/dresses. Spotelessly clean. Pillows were a bit "square" for my taste but hardly an issue. The door to room 11 needs a firm pull/push to close/lock properly. Biscuits, juices, fruit and coffee provided as mentioned on 3rd foor. Excellent location, 10-15 min walk from the central train station, about 20 mins from the Colluseum, Victor Emmanual 2nd Memorial and Roman Forum. Further out Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and (personal favorite) Basilica di Saint'Andrea della Valle, all within a 1hr walk. Buses and Metro nearby to go to the Vatican or elsewhere. There's a good Pasta restaurant, pizzeria and a few convinience shops within 5 min walk for food and drink. Overall, very nice, but no shower. There was a shower wand in our jacuzzi tub. Not as convenient. Tiny elevator but no issues. The location is excellent. You can walk to most of the major attractions in a matter of 10 to 15 minutes. Close to the train station as well if you are traveling by train.

The room was nice, room 23, but the bathroom wasn’t great, you had to climb into a tub with a high wall to take a shower and the tub was slippery and water got on the floor when you showered. The breakfast was ok and convenient. You could open the windows to the courtyard and it was quiet. The location was excellent, close to the roma termini and lots of great restaurants within walking distance, we also walked to the coliseum

Stuff got stolen from my room, few sneakers, purse, 3 hats and perfume. Probably $1000 worth of property. The person who stole this must of had codes for the door, leading me to believe that it was someone who works there otherwise they would have stolen more expensive stuff like my laptop and drone. The owner didn’t wanna show us the videos since it was lots of cameras in the area, cops said they will review cameras but nothing happened. Owner was more worried about to protect themselves than to find the truth

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived early and the room was ready so we checked in early. The properties greatest asset is its location, everything is within walking distance and close to the Metro and bus station too. We checked out and left our luggage there which is a big help when you have a later flight. We would recommend a stay hear for a city break. Mick & Jo

This is a great little property in a convenient location for all the main sites, termini station and the metro / buses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the Team made it easy for us. I think for the number of stars of accommodation and price, it’s very good - clean, comfortable, nice little touches like coffee machine, pastries for the morning and flower decorations, daily beds making and shampoo sachets. It felt safe and we had no concerns at all. I was there as a single mum of two for four nights and we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

A very central place, made it possible to walk to most places worth visiting. And also metro nearby, and buses passing in the street. Very much noise from the street outside, made some problems for a good sleep. A good idea to ask for a room located in a more quiet area of the accommodation.

Excellent stay in Rome. Great location not far from train station and 10-20min walk from the main attractions that we wanted to see. Lots of restaurants nearby so excellent choice. The front of desk service was welcoming, friendly & helpful. There was a slight delay in our room being ready for 2pm arrival, but just waited with complimentary biscuits and drinks which is available throughout stay. We’d paid extra for the jacuzzi, which for info involves you standing there for 45-50min as need to hold shower head over it to fill. On one of the days we returned to find a large bag of rubbish left in our room by the cleaners, but we just took it back to reception. Not a big issue at all. We would definitely recommend and look to book this place again.

The hotel was in a great location, walkable to the termini and Colosseum. The room was lovely, and the staff was super helpful, allowing us to store our luggage before check-in and after checkout. We would recommend Nerva Accommodation Cavour.

Fantastic location within walking distance of so much including the train terminal and metro station. Grand suite is spectacular and embodies the Italian charm to perfection!! This will be our choice for accommodations for our next trip back to Rome.

Nerva Accomodation is perfectly situated for visiting the central historical districts in Rome. A short walk in one direction will take you to a Metro station, a bit of a longer walk, but still relatively short, will take you to Termini as well as the intersection of two metro lines, all of which are easy to use. The property itself has a rustic charm, providing clean, comfortable rooms, coffee machines on the two floors we were on, and snack items, fresh fruit and yoghurt available anytime you wanted. A slight frustration is the desk staffing, which is from 1000-1800, but is quite workable. The staff was wonderful, pleasant and always helpful. Abundant hot water and water pressure, air conditioning also worked well.Door codes provide entry into the building as well as into the various units on the floors. We felt very safe here..according to Expedia, laundry service is available, but this is not the case, as well as breakfast for 5 Euros,which was not available either, but the goodies, fruits, juices, yoghurts, and coffee available were enough to get you started, and there was cereal as well, no charges for this. We had a delightful time!

The staff team was very kind, friendly and helpful. They made our stay so pleasant and easy! The property is an antique-feeling and historic site with an elevator in the building. Love it! There is a common area/mini cafeteria next to check-in counter with complimentary continental drinks( gourmet coffee, juice, tea, water etc), pastries( cookies, croissant etc), fruits, cereal and candies! There is also a bathroom for guests to use. What a generous and thoughtful host! They also prepare sandwiches in the morning for guests to grab a quick breakfast before heading out their sightseeing that all included in your room rate with no extra charge! Their generosity and kindness truly make staying Rome home! The location is hard to beat as well - walking to the Colosseum and the rest of Ancient Rome sites and museums. Next time we visit Rome, no more searching, we’ve gotten Nerva!

Heel goede locatie & leuke buurt. De kamer was proper en heel stil, je hebt niet de indruk dat je in het centrum van Rome verblijft. Enkele minpunten zijn het ontbijt, zeker niet de moeite om bij te boeken alsook te weinig koffie tassen. Een rek om de handdoeken aan te hangen of plaats om je kledij kwijt te kunnen ontbrak ook in de kamer.

Our stay here was very pleasant. Everything is within walking distance and the rooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly and, even though we didn’t book breakfast, coffee, juices, and snacks are available around the clock. We spent four wonderful days here and would love to come back.
Our stay here was very pleasant. Everything is within walking distance and the rooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly and, even though we didn’t book breakfast, coffee, juices, and snacks are available around the clock. We spent four wonderful days here and would love to come back.

I was traveling for business for four days and had a very pleasant stay. The place is small and quirky but the rooms are decorated imaginatively, the bed was very comfortable with great pillows, and the shower was also excellent. They don't have a restaurant or hot breakfast, but there is a 24 hour complimentary snack bar with great coffee, yogurt, pastries, etc. The staff were helpful and very nice

Really lovely intimate hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Complimentary coffee (the real stuff), breakfast, cakes, biscuits, doughnuts fruit and more were a great bonus after being out all day. The room was small but comfortable and very clean. No street noise even though the hotel is so central. Really engaging soulful hotel that feels homely. Close to everything, sites, transport, shops, cafes... all easy walking distances.

This is a great little property in a convenient location for all the main sites, termini station and the metro / buses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the Team made it easy for us. I think for the number of stars of accommodation and price, it’s very good - clean, comfortable, nice little touches like coffee machine, pastries for the morning and flower decorations, daily beds making and shampoo sachets. It felt safe and we had no concerns at all. I was there as a single mum of two for four nights and we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Great location. Eclectic decor. Rooms shared a small common area on each floor with seating and self service kitchen cafe. Coffee was supplied via machine which was marginal given the quality of coffee in Italy. But a wide variety of pastries and snacks was included.

Excellent location and everything you need is walkable from Via Cavour. The room was a good size, clean and the bed one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The staff were very friendly and amenable although we were asked to pay the tourist charge twice due to a failure in communication which was resolved after a couple of text messages. All in all, a lovely stay and I’d definitely consider this place again in future.
