I loved the location of the hotel, the use of space (I knew the rooms going in were going to be small which was fine). I don't think we could have asked for a better hotel at the price point we paid. Overall great experience and the spa in the basement was AMAZING! Highly recommend stopping in for a massage while you're at the hotel.

Its pretty clean, walkable distance to changdeokgung, Myeongdong, insadong cultural street. Water pressure not the best but alright. People commented no space by the sink for a GIRL to put their make up stuff and what not... theres plenty of space in the room for you to put stuff, theres hidden storages. Theres quite a lot of space to lay your luggage around too. Convinence store right downstairs is super clutch for midnight snack or quite morning bite.

The location of this hotel was amazing. Close to buses, trains, and great food/shopping/activities. The hotel said they are going through renovations, and we assume that is for the bar/lounge b/c it was a construction zone when we went down to check it out. There was a strange smell in our room from the shower drain so we opened windows to maintain it. It is a simple layout and provided what we needed for our time there.

Super clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Right in the middle of a bunch of shopping and tons of restaurants, and an arcade all in walking distance. Right near the subways and bus terminals. There is a convenience store on the bottom floor, and a Hanoi massage spa in the basement. The room was a bit small but I think that's kind of standard for Korea. Overall really great, fully recommend staying!

The staff was very friendly. The room was small but clean. The hotel was centrally located with lots of shopping and restaurants close by, and a CU right downstairs. The area was quiet and safe. I would definitely stay again.

Cama confortável e fizeram limpeza e troca das toalhas todos os dias além de repor as águas sem custo adicional. Nos dias de chuva nos emprestaram guarda chuvas e pós check out guardaram nossas malas. Existe uma máquina de câmbio na recepção, além de balança para pesar as malas e uma conveniência que vende de tudo no saguão do hotel. Staff was really helpful to find shops and restaurants around, and I could leave my luggage at the front desk since I arrived much earlier than checkin and had to leave for the airport a few hours after checkout, so I could fully enjoy my time. Was very clean, had a window that opens and AC very powerful and quiet (weather was really hot). Modern feeling, two free water bottles a day included with the room, bed was comfortable. Washroom is rather small and in a korean style, so shower is not separated, but I was used to it so I could manage just fine. There is a CU (convenience store) on the street floor in the same building, so really convenient! Enjoyed my stay over all, and felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Lots of options of transportation, buses and subway at 2 minutes walking.

N285 Hotel was beautiful and worth it for the price. Conveniently located in Insadong, close to train station, many shops/cafes near by, and walking distance to the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Room and property were very clean and staff were pleasant and helpful.

遅い時間に戻りベッドで寝ようとしたところ、ベッドに赤いダニが大量に発生しており、数十匹殺してホテルのスタッフに翻訳ソフトを使用して伝えたところ、対応が非常に悪く、違う部屋を用意してくれたものの、その部屋にもダニがおり、もう夜中だった為、そのまま寝ましたが、開業して１年目にも関わらず、どういう衛生状態になっているのか非常に疑問です。私は過去に数百件のラグジュアリーホテルを泊まってきましたが、このような事例は初めてでした。築年数に関わらず、清掃やリネンの衛生状態など、こちらのホテルの経営に関する管理体制を疑問に感じます。

The hotel is located in Insadong so it is a great location for shopping and cafes. Its easy to walk or take public transportation. The room was very nice and the bed was actually quite soft and comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room but that's common in Korea. There is a mini fridge in the room and a CU downstairs.

とても使いやすいホテルでした。難点は冷蔵庫が飲み物位しか入らない、小さなもので、ここまで容量の無い冷蔵庫は初めてでした。バスルームはトイレと一緒でした。シャワーを使うとバスルーム全体が水浸し状態でしたが、床や壁に使われている素材のお陰ですぐに乾いた状態には成りました。

Small room for 2 people. The whole bathroom gets wet when showering. Otherwise, the location is excellent. Stayed for 5 nights. We were able to walk to most tourists spots and explored places by foot (shopping and dining). Because we didn’t hang out in our room, the size didn’t matter much. However, the TV should have at least an option for English.

Slitna handdukar och små rum. Badrummet cs 1,5x1,5 meter. Kan inte ha något ståendes i badrummet om man ska duscha, allt blir blött. Hade dörren inte varit stängt ut till hotellrummet så hade det blivit blött även där. Fint och fräscht i övrigt men kommer inte boka igen pga så små rum och opraktiskt badrum

部屋は清潔で良かったけどシャワーと洗面所(ボウル)の排水が機能しておらず 最後まで汚いお湯の中に足が浸かった状態でのシャワー。トイレ便器の足元までシャワーのお湯が溜まり出したのには焦った。洗面ボウルも洗顔&歯磨き時に水が溢れそうになり何度も水を止めなくてはいけなかった。2人で宿泊したので続けてシャワー&洗面所が使えなかった。

We chose N285 for its location and price. The location was great, right next to the Insadong market and subway. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally helpful in arranging a tour to the DMZ and taxi to the airport and spoke great English. I highly recommend this hotel.

We tried this hotel so we could experience a different part of town. If you arrive earlier than 3pm this is not the hotel for you. There was no flexibility in early arrivals. We sat waiting with other exhausted travelers to get into our rooms. When I asked the staff if they could call a taxi for us (something every other Seoul hotel has done for me in the last 7 years that I have lived in Korea)) they told us to just go find a taxi on the street. It took us 25 minutes waiting for a taxi to drive by and pick us up. The cleaning staff were very helpful but the front desk was indifferent.

I’ve stayed here twice now and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff is friendly, informative, and helpful. The rooms are always clean. It’s walking distance to Myeongdong. The subway and bus stops are super close. Highly recommend.

We were not super happy with our stay here. The room was extremely crammed and the toilet stopped working for a day. Also got a crazy sewer smell leaking into our room (maybe from outside?) Most of the front desk staff were nice but we were not pleased when we were asked to spend almost $100 to “rent” an extra blanket for the week…. If your guests are cold, give them a blanket and don’t be so stingy. Never have I had to pay for an extra blanket at a hotel. Anywho, the location is decent but I think you can get better for your money. If you’re in Seoul for a night only maybe this place is okay for that if you’re mostly just sleeping at the hotel not relaxing.

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel and I have to say it has been great! The staff was very welcoming and helpful when I checked in even though it was very late. The room is on the smaller side but it's perfect for a solo traveler like me. What I really like about this hotel and had me coming back to it was the location, right next to the popular insadong area and ikseondong area and many Instagram famous bakeries and cafes are just a short 10 min walk away, even myeongdong is just a 20 mins walk away. You will also find a CU right downstairs which is always nice to have. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm around.

I really appreciate how the hotel is conveniently located near a metro station, making it easy to get around Seoul. Plus, there’s a bus stop just a short walk away, so travelling anywhere is a breeze. The neighbourhood is full of great places to eat, including late-night stalls where you can grab a bite and enjoy a drink. What I loved most was having a convenience store right beneath our hotel rooms. Every morning, we'd grab coffee from there and bring it back to enjoy before heading out to explore. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient, making both check-in and check-out a seamless experience.

We chose N285 for its location and price. The location was great, right next to the Insadong market and subway. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally helpful in arranging a tour to the DMZ and taxi to the airport and spoke great English. I highly recommend this hotel.

N285 Hotel was beautiful and worth it for the price. Conveniently located in Insadong, close to train station, many shops/cafes near by, and walking distance to the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Room and property were very clean and staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great location, close to most things you could want to see in Seoul. A couple of minutes walk to a subway station which can get you anywhere. Everything was very easy with check in and leaving my bags with the reception staff before and after check out. Rooms was lovely. Would recommend.

The hotel is located in Insadong so it is a great location for shopping and cafes. Its easy to walk or take public transportation. The room was very nice and the bed was actually quite soft and comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room but that's common in Korea. There is a mini fridge in the room and a CU downstairs.

The hotel has an attached convenience store and cafe with good breakfast. But the hotel rooms use a key pad instead of a card key and I think they re use the passcodes because you have to give them the card back with info on it. Also the lock on the door is very flimsy. The interior of the room felt outdated but also tried hard to be modern. The shower is cool, but it soaks everything else in the bathroom. Would not stay again, but not terrible and not dirty.

The location of this hotel was amazing. Close to buses, trains, and great food/shopping/activities. The hotel said they are going through renovations, and we assume that is for the bar/lounge b/c it was a construction zone when we went down to check it out. There was a strange smell in our room from the shower drain so we opened windows to maintain it. It is a simple layout and provided what we needed for our time there.

Insadong is in the art and diamond district, theres plently of shops and souvenirs around, plus restaurants too. The hotel is tucked away a little and can feel a little unsafe for the short walk along the pavement if you are alone. There are lights, though. The cafe area in the lobby was shut, but it is attached to a 'CU' which is similar to 7eleven. Theres a massage place in the lower ground floors and a lot of close transport connections. I asked for my room to be made up 10 minutes after the cleaners were meant to have finished at 3pm, but when I came back later that day they had cleaned my room which was so lovely! You get 2 bottles of water a day and they also give slippers and robes which is not something I expected. Great bonus. I didn't really enjoy the wet room since there was only 1 mirror in the room and it was in the bathroom. The wetroom got everything wet when you went in the shower. The room was a little tight around the bed and the wall to get round to the couch area and table, but not a big problem for me. Overall, it was a really nice place and I would go back if I wanted to stay in the same neighborhood.
