Scope These terms and conditions apply to all contracts for the rental of rooms or beds for accommodation concluded between the Minimal Hostel and its guest, as well as to all other services provided. 2. Reservations If the booked room is available, the guest will receive a reservation confirmation from the Minimal Hostel. By accepting the reservation made by the guest, a guest accommodation contract is concluded between the Minimal Hostel and the guest. Minimal Hostel can refuse to conclude a guest accommodation contract at its own discretion. There is no entitlement to use the overnight accommodation service in a specific room. 3. Cancellation periods The guest can cancel free of charge up to 6 days before arrival. From 5 days before arrival, the full amount is due and is non-refundable. A reservation of a guest will be canceled on the next morning In case of a no show. The reservation is non-refundable. You can avoid the cancelation if you mention it latest by the arrival day. 4. Overnight prices and other prices The prices stated by the Minimal Hostel at the time the contract is concluded apply. The applicable prices are gross total prices and include all statutory taxes, fees and charges.Not included is the fee for a bed linen/towel set per guest per stay. This must be booked separately. The amount is added to the overnight price and collected before the stay.In the event of a change in tax, fee and levy rates or the effective collection of new taxes, fees and levies previously unknown to the parties, Minimal Hostel reserves the right to adjust the prices accordingly. 5. Payment conditions The price of the entire booked overnight service must always be paid in advance by the guest, at the latest upon arrival at the hotel. 6. Use of reserved rooms Reserved rooms are available to the guest from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival and until 11 a.m. on the day of departure. On request and subject to availability, a later departure (late check-out) can be agreed with the hostel in advance. You can book a late check-out what is until 2 p.m. Please ask for the price at the reception. 7. Loss or damage to items brought with you; hostel liability Personal and other items brought with you are at the guest's risk in the Minimal Hostel. The hostel assumes no obligation to guard or store them. The hostel assumes no liability for loss, destruction or damage except in cases of gross negligence or intent on the part of the hostel. The guest is responsible for insuring items brought with you.The hostel is only liable for the delivery and storage of messages, mail and consignments of goods for guests in cases of intent or gross negligence.Otherwise, the hostel is only liable - except in cases of intent and gross negligence - in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the respective coverage amount of the business liability insurance.If disruptions or defects in the services provided by Minimal Hostel occur, Minimal Hostel will endeavour to remedy the situation if it is aware of them or if the guest immediately complains. The guest is obliged to do what is reasonable to remedy the disruption and to keep any possible damage to a minimum. Furthermore, the guest is obliged to inform Minimal Hostel in good time of the possibility of exceptionally high damage occurring.Minimal Hostel is not liable for damage that is solely the responsibility of other tenants or other third parties. 8. Termination of the guest accommodation contract Minimal Hostel is entitled to terminate the guest accommodation contract for good cause. Good cause exists in particular if (i) force majeure or other circumstances beyond Minimal Hostel's control make it impossible to fulfill the contract, (ii) rooms or spaces are booked negligently using misleading or false information or by concealing essential facts; the identity of the guest, ability to pay or the purpose of the stay can be important in this case, (iii) Minimal Hostel has reasonable grounds to believe that the use of the service could endanger the smooth running of the business, the security or the public reputation of Minimal Hostel; (iv) the purpose or reason for the stay is illegal; or (v) in the case of resale/rental and/or re-brokerage. 9. Renting by groups If the person responsible for damage to inventory caused by negligence or culpability cannot be identified, the group will be held jointly and severally liable. If the rooms and beds are badly soiled, an additional cleaning fee will be charged. 10. No smoking, no alcohol consumption, and no drug use in the hostel The hostel is a non-smoking, drug-free, and alcohol-free hostel. Smoking, drinking, and drug use are prohibited in all rooms. Violations will be punished with a fee of at least €100. If the rooms cannot be rented out to others, the costs will be charged. The same applies to the manipulation of smoke detectors or the unauthorized opening of emergency doors. The hotel reserves the right to claim higher damages if, for example, the hotel is charged for a fire department call-out or if unauthorized smoking has caused damage to hotel property. 11. Parties Organizing parties in the hostel is strictly prohibited. Playing music is only permitted in your own room at a volume that is acceptable to the room, with the consent of your roommates.Non-guests are only allowed to stay in the public areas of the hostel with the permission of the hostel staff. The instructions of the hostel staff must be followed. 12. Pets Bringing a pet requires the prior written consent of Minimal Hostel. If Minimal Hostel agrees to bringing a pet, this is done on the condition that the pet is under the constant supervision of the guest, is free of disease and does not otherwise pose a danger to the hostel guests and the hostel staff.The pet is not allowed to sleep in the hostel bed. There is a fee of EUR 5.00 per night for the pet. However, guide dogs, deaf dogs and other similar service dogs are an exception. These can be brought along free of charge and at any time. 13. Minors Minors are allowed to stay in the Minimal Hostel without an adult supervisor. Parking Minimal Hostel does not have any parking spaces. Only parking on the street is possible.There are two things worth knowing about this. 1) The inner circle of Berlin is an environmental zone. Your car needs a green sticker to drive in there.You can buy it online and it will be sent to you by post or you can get it from a vehicle registration office. https://www.berlin.de/tourismus/infos/1760452-1721039-umweltzone.html Without a sticker, the fine is €100. 2) Parking is now subject to a fee almost everywhere in the environmental zone.Parking fee is €4 per hour. The fine without a parking ticket is €20. We recommend that you park your car in a Park+Ride parking lot on the way out.
