Hilton Garden Inn Munich City Centre West, Germany

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, groß (sodass man trotz Buggy usw noch viel Platz hatte) und ruhig. Das Bett war eher hart, aber das empfindet bzw. bevorzugt ja jeder anders ;-) Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit als wir noch etwas für das Zimmer benötigten. Das Frühstück haben wir nur 1x ausprobiert, war eine sehr gute (hotelübliche) Auswahl mit großer Heißgetränkeauswahl und Waffelbackstation mit mehreren Toppings - 17€/Person. Im Restaurant hatten wir sonst nur 1x abends ein Dessert gegessen, war auch sehr lecker (8-9€/Dessert). Die Lage vom Hotel war top. Alles gut mit Auto zu erreichen in und um München und die S-Bahn-Haltestelle 5 Min zu Fuß entfernt (alle paar Minuten Verbindung zum HBF/Marienplatz, 3 Stationen Fahrt). Außerdem Getränkemarkt und Edeka direkt nebenan. Das einzige Manko im Hotel war die Parksituation. 25€ pro Tag (andere Hotels berechnen die Gebühr teils auch nur pro Nacht), ok, ABER dann nicht mal ausreichend Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage. Man musste dann auf einen (dunklen) Parkplatz unter einer Brücke/Schnellstraße ausweichen (ca.5-10min Fußweg) UND TROTZDEM 25€ bezahlen. In der Tiefgarage waren viele Tauben (inklusive Nester), daher auch alles voller Taubenkot inklusive der Autos…als man dies gesagt hat, konnte die Rezeption weder Deutsch noch Englisch verstehen und meinte anschließend nur „I will inform the housekeeping, what is your room number?“. Eine Ermäßigung o.ä. für den Parkplatz / Autowäsche gab es nicht.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hilton Garden Inn, war sehr angenehm und wird sicher nicht der letzte sein. Das freundliche Personal war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit! Die Lage ist perfekt, um einen entspannen Abend in der Lobby zu verbringen oder auch schnell und bequem mit einer Tram in die Innenstadt zu gelangen. Restaurants, Supermarkt und ÖV sind in direkter Nähe. Hotelbar und Restaurant sind sehr zu empfehlen. Rundum ein tolles Hotel!

About a 15-20 minute cab/Uber ride to Hofbrauhaus/Marienplatz, but also located about a mile from Central Station with some decent restaurant options nearby. For 3 adults, the room was small but the bathroom was relatively large for a European hotel. Bonus points: hotel bar open until 00:00 and a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner if you need it. Also, a guest laundry which we took advantage of since we had already been traveling for a week with another week to go. No charge, just buy a Tide Pod downstairs. Down the street is Augustiner Brauhaus - a great alternative to Hofbrauhaus - and even closer to the hotel is Restaurant Heidi, which was by far the best restaurant experience we had in Munich! There's a grocery store steps away from the hotel for essentials and a coffee to go - if you don't want the hub-bub of downtown Munich, I highly recommend this hotel!

Et moderne hotel, der ligger 2 km fra Hovedbanegården i et område med mange restauranter. Der går sporvogn lige til døren. Fine og rummelige værelser. Dejligt barområde. Morgenmaden er ligeledes god. Venligt personale. Vi manglede en hårtørrer på værelset, og vi måtte faktisk henvende os 4 gange, før de fik bragt en hårtørrer til værelset. En lille feler, der dog ikke ødelagde helhedsindtrykket: et fint hotel at vælge.

Hotel znajduje się blisko przystanku tramwajowego z dogodnym dojazdem do centrum. Śniadania smaczne, stosunkowo mała sala. Na minus nieczynna restauracja, słabo działająca klimatyzacja oraz zablokowane drzwi szafy.

Easy access from the main train station. Clean and the price was reasonable.

Es ist ein schönes Hotel und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Ausstattung ist ansprechend und auch gut gepflegt. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war sehr gut und auch von hoher Qualität. Einzig das Zimmer ist ein wenig zu bemängeln. Das Bad war nicht wirklich sauber geputzt, es gab sehr viele Flecken und Fussel / Haare. Außerdem war unser Zimmer zur Bahnstrecke gelegen und daher war die Geräuschkulisse doch etwas laut. Alles in allem ist das Hotel zu empfehlen.

The property is 10-15 mins walk from train station and very close to tram transit. The breakfast was great and hotel was neat and clean.

This is exactly what you'd expect for a Hilton Garden Inn. It's just showing a little age and could us a refresh. The bed was very firm, the sheets and towels were just fine. It's close to a train station, but very limited shopping or dining in the area. It was good for one night.

The location of the property is excellent, which is a major plus. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The breakfast spread was quite limited, and the same items were repeated every day during our 4-day stay, which became monotonous. The room’s air conditioning was not functioning properly, making it hot and uncomfortable. Even after changing the room, the issue remained unresolved. Additionally, the level of hospitality did not meet expectations — we had to ask for basic amenities and services, which should have been proactively provided. Overall, the stay lacked the comfort and care one would hope for.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I had been awake for 24 hours traveling. Clean hotel room, comfy bed (on the firm side) and fantastic shower. Great location. Located next to multiple public transportation. Definitely recommend! Breakfast was awesome!

Empfehlenswertes Hotel. Gute Lage direkt neben der Tram-Haltestelle und sehr freundliches Personal insbesondere die mazedonische Mitarbeiterin beim Frühstück. Einen Stern Abzug, da die Umsetzung bei technischen Problemen nicht funktioniert hat. In 5 Tagen hat man es nicht geschafft eine klappernde Klimanlage in Zimmer 424 zu reparieren.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man die Münchener Innenstadt mit der S-Bahn. Da wir ein zentrales Hotel gesucht hatten, hat uns auch die Lage an den Gleisen nicht gestört. Die Fenster waren gut schallgeschützt. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer nicht. Nach Reklamation an der Rezeption, wurde dies am Folgetag repariert. Leider sprechen nicht alle Angestellten an der Rezeption gut deutsch. Überwiegend wird englisch gesprochen, dies hatten wir nicht erwartet und dadurch wurde die Kommunikation etwas schwierig. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmäßig. Das Queensize Bett ist für zwei Erwachsene etwas schmal. Ungewohnt war für uns auch die gemeinsame Bettdecke. Das Frühstück im Hotel lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal dort ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

As already mentioned, Shower was not holding in one place and the hot to cold water control was so poor that you couldn’t set water temp to your liking. The water will suddenly change from very hot to very cold and vice versa by giving you shivers and also burning you.

Terrible shower with no door, the whole bathroom becomes a big pond, and on top of that - the shower leaks. Water in the shower goes from hot to cold every ~5 seconds, couldn't take a normal shower. Hotel front desk only answers the phone 1 out of 5 times... We wanted an extra towel, it was impossible to reach the front desk and after we did - we had to wait 45 minutes for a towel. Don't waste your time and money.

The location was great as right next to a train station. The room was a bit tired - there was a big hole in the bathroom wall and the bed was rickety. There isn't a proper shower either, only a hand-held shower head which is disappointing.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, vor allem die Waffeln kamen bei den Kindern sehr gut an. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich hilfsbereit.

We had a lovely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. It’s quite close to a train station that connects to all the main terminals which was very useful. The facilities were very clean and fairly comfortable. If you are wanting to use the sofa bed during your stay, maybe make that request ahead of time. We should have, as my husband and son were sharing a room, and I was sharing one with our two daughters. They had made the sofa bad in my room and added extra towels, which was excellent. But by the time we asked for our son’s bed to be made, we were told housekeeping had already left for the day. They did manage to provide a blanket. We asked the next day for it to be made, and they brought an additional blanket, but never a fitted sheet. It really wasn’t the end of the world - we made due. But good to send the hotel a message next time ahead of the stay. Otherwise, lovely hotel, good location (also a grocery store very nearby!) and very clean. We had a great stay!

Marcela del lobby se portó excelente, nos ayudó en varias dudas que teníamos, respecto a quien hace el aseo de las habitaciones dejan mucho que desear ya que no ponen las toallas suficientes, papel higiénico suficiente, no recogen vasos de vidrio por más de 3 días, la basura nunca la sacaron,que mal por el personal de limpieza, todo lo demás estuvo muy bien

The check-in experience could have been a lot better. Spent 1 hr doing checkin as the staff for late night checkin were clueless if anything outside the ordinary happened. All the power sockets are EU style. For a hotel that is trying to cater to international customer base that was quite off putting.

We had a nice 1 night stay here and enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the coffee tasted good. The rooms look nice, its very quiet even though we were facing the train tracks. A tram stop is right outside and conveniently connected us to the main station and inner city.

Overall, a good place to stay if you don\'t mind walking or taking the u-bahn to central Munich. It\'s a bit "out of the way" for city center but that keeps it quiet.

Supertolle Lage Nähe Bus- und Zugstationen; Nähe Hauptbahnhof. Altstadt ist in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Zimmer: sehr ruhig und komfortabel eingerichtet. Badezimmer klein aber fein. Sauber aber Zimmerservice naja, die Tassen wurden nicht weggeräumt und das Bett auch nicht sorgfältig gemacht, Wasser fehlt. Frühstück ist mega, sehr reichhaltig und die Speisen sind sehr lecker. Würde das Hotel allen empfehlen!
