The hotel actually has its own parking garage attached to the hotel. We didn’t count the actual parking spaces open, but there were approximately 50 spaces. There were only three cars parked there. When we asked the front desk if we could park in their garage, we were told it was for handicap only. I do not mean to sound disrespectful towards the handicap population, but I have never seen any business require more than just a few handicap parking spots. It would seem that this hotel could do a better job opening up parking for their other guests too. That is just too much wasted parking space to have just sitting there not used.

Lovely property, we ate dinner in the restaurant which was great for a simple burger, never had any issues to require us to speak to staff as everything is done through the app including check in/out and room key, but reception was always manned. Bags were safe locked in the luggage room for day of departure, we hired a large locker for 12hr for €4. Lots of places to relax including a children’s play area. Right opposite a major train station (s bahn) with direct links to the airport which was easy to navigate for our late arrival.

Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern im Hotel. Die Zimmer waren sauber und funktional. Definitiv würden die Zimmer von einem Kühlschrank profitieren. Das Frühstück hat uns nicht so richtig überzeugen können, sehr wuselig und ungemütlich. Kaffee schmeckte mir persönlich nicht, aber das ist ja immer Geschmackssache. Ich denke das Berlin bessere Frühstücksspots bietet.Parkmöglichkeiten sind direkt am Ostbahnhof für 9 Euro am Tag. Insgesamt super Lage. Hatten ein Zimmer direkt zur Hauptstraße was natürlich bei geöffnetem Fenster sehr sehr laut sein kann!!

Just across the road from Ostbanhof Station and next to the old Berlin wall. Checkin was smooth although I was not able to get the app working. My single room was a reasonable size and comfortable. Cafe, Bar, Restaurant attached to reception. Great place to simply lay your head after business or sightseeing. Only negative was a student group staying during my visit which meant teenagers running around and up and down the lifts etc

Loved the ethical focus, proximity to East Side Gallery, nice coffee shop, breakfast, restaurant/bar. Staff are warm and friendly. Cool vibe but quiet at night.

Cosy and warm hotel lobby with great coffee shop. Amazing location right next to the East Side Gallery and opposite a major train station (Ostbahnhof). Really easy to check in and out with app on your phone and unlock your room with this app also. My only criticism is the pillows were like giant, mainly unformed bags of cotton wool.

Wir fanden es klasse, dasa es Getränke an der Bar gab, dass man aber auch mit selbst mitgebrachten Getränken im Aufenthaltbereich sitzen durfte! Sehr gutes Konzept - wir hatten dort einen tollen Abend :-)

Clean room, definitely suited for short term stays, great location right by Berlin Ostbahnhof and next to East Side Gallery. Communal spaces were nice enough, could be cleaner but they are used by a lot of people so understandable. Would definitely recommend!

Great location, opposite the train station so easy link to the airport (when the train line has no construction work) and supermarket to buy food/drink. Staff very friendly! There is also a luggage storage room which is very handy - €3 for 4 hours, €4 for 12 hours. The room was modern but quite basic in terms of amenities - would have been nice if a kettle was in the room to drink warm fluids. I’m glad I bought slippers with me as the floor was quite dirty. Also I had reported that the sink was very slow to drain water but this had not been fixed during our stay.

El colchón y las almohadas son cómodas y la habitación que nos dieron en la séptima planta no tiene ruidos. En la habitación meten, aparte de una cama de matrimonio, un sofá-cama que ocupa mucho sitio. Entre el sofá y la cama hay 35 cm (en la foto parece más) por lo que hay que tener mucho cuidado para no golpearse con las esquinas de madera. También hay un carrito-bandeja dónde está el café, té y una botella de agua. Además un pequeño escritorio con una banqueta. La distancia entre los pies de la cama y el escritorio es menos de los que aparece en la foto. No hay sitio para dejar las maletas. Las habitaciones a no las limpian a no ser que lo pidas explícitamente (no me quedó claro si hay que solicitarlo cada día). La primera noche nos encontramos con la sorpresa de que la sábana bajera estaba sucia, así que tuvimos que esperar a que nos la cambiaran. El hotel está muy bien situado enfrente de la estación de Ostbahnhof a la que se puede llegar directamente desde el aeropuerto.

This hotel is OUTSTANDING! Schulz fulfills that elusive wish - a hotel that is both affordable and "ticks all the boxes". This is one of the best hotels we've stayed as a family. Check in was fast and friendly. Our room was compact but we had plenty of space - the kids loved having their own, individual beds! The room and common areas were very clean. WiFi was fast. The bathroom was a good size, plenty of towels, and quality hand and body soap. The restaurants on the ground floor had great service and delicious food. The location is ideal - walkable to a few sites coupled with excellent transport links. Initially, we were worried that since there were a lot of young people that the night/wee hours would be noisy as they returned from bars/clubs. How wrong we were! The hotel was quiet - we all slept very well. We will definitely be back!

I chose the Schultz hotel for its proximity to Berlin's Ostbahnhof. There are several low-cost food choices in and around the station, and the neighborhood was comfortable to walk around. The hotel staff are wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable with some nice touches that make this brand unique and enjoyable to stay at. I hope to be back again soon!

Ausgesprochen praktische Lage. Sehr moderne und gut gestalltete Zimmer. Aber: keine voll-Verdunkelungsvorhänge (nur abdunkelnd - Licht kommt durch den Stoff durch), was störend sein kann, wenn man nach einem Langstreckenflug tagsüber schlafen möchte.

Room was okay if a bit small, especially the bed. Biggest disappointment was having no kettle in the room. My friend stayed there last year (same level of room) and had a coffee making machine in his room so I assumed the same.

Für uns sehr gut gelegen (Veranstaltung in der Music Hall) und exzellente Anbindungen mit dem Zug zum Flughafen. Lediglich die Betten für uns die reinste Katastrophe. Kein Lattenrost (sondern Spanplatte) und eine harte Matratze hat für wenig Schlaf und viel Verspannungen gesorgt.

Overall, everything was amazing I can’t complain, location, staff, amenities everything was really really good EXCEPT the pillows… they are the worst pillows I have every sleep with in my entire life, it’s just like sleeping in the pillow case this guys should have an improve in that Besides that you should book this place!

We requested an early check-in, but the experience was incredibly disappointing from the start. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful, simply telling us the room wasn’t ready and that we should keep checking back ourselves. They offered to store our luggage for an extra fee, which felt ridiculous considering the circumstances. For over three hours, we returned every 30 minutes to ask if the room was ready — each time receiving the same cold response. Even after the official check-in time had passed, the room was still not ready. We were told to wait an additional 15–20 minutes with zero apology or empathy. By the time we finally got access to the room, we were so frustrated and uncomfortable with the whole experience that we only stayed for about two hours before deciding to book another place for the night. The way we were treated was unacceptable — I have never experienced such poor customer service at any hotel. Frankly, it’s shocking that a place with such high ratings delivers this kind of service. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Das Hotel hat eher den Charakter einer Jugendherberge. Recht hellhörig. Ein Zimmercode wurde uns nicht zugeschickt, auch die App funktionierte nicht. Bei Ankunft, 15.30 Uhr, war unser Zimmer (und die Zimmer vieler anderer Gäste auch) noch nicht gereinigt, obwohl „Check in“ ab 15.00 Uhr angezeigt ist. Wir haben dann noch eine Stunde in der Lobby warten müssen, was unsere Pläne für diesen Tag durchkreuzt hat. Gefrühstückt haben wir aufgrund der nicht so guten Bewertungen nicht im Hotel. Für eine Nacht war das Hotel für uns in Ordnung.

This hotel is OUTSTANDING! Schulz fulfills that elusive wish - a hotel that is both affordable and "ticks all the boxes". This is one of the best hotels we've stayed as a family. Check in was fast and friendly. Our room was compact but we had plenty of space - the kids loved having their own, individual beds! The room and common areas were very clean. WiFi was fast. The bathroom was a good size, plenty of towels, and quality hand and body soap. The restaurants on the ground floor had great service and delicious food. The location is ideal - walkable to a few sites coupled with excellent transport links. Initially, we were worried that since there were a lot of young people that the night/wee hours would be noisy as they returned from bars/clubs. How wrong we were! The hotel was quiet - we all slept very well. We will definitely be back!

I chose the Schultz hotel for its proximity to Berlin's Ostbahnhof. There are several low-cost food choices in and around the station, and the neighborhood was comfortable to walk around. The hotel staff are wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable with some nice touches that make this brand unique and enjoyable to stay at. I hope to be back again soon!

the stay went very well. the rooms and service were perfect. in front there is the train and bus station with many bar and supermarkets, unfortunately it is frequented by some drunk people already in the morning (as in all stations in all cities) but there is the police on duty all day

Great location, opposite the train station so easy link to the airport (when the train line has no construction work) and supermarket to buy food/drink. Staff very friendly! There is also a luggage storage room which is very handy - €3 for 4 hours, €4 for 12 hours. The room was modern but quite basic in terms of amenities - would have been nice if a kettle was in the room to drink warm fluids. I’m glad I bought slippers with me as the floor was quite dirty. Also I had reported that the sink was very slow to drain water but this had not been fixed during our stay.

The hotel serves its purpose, somewhere to stay with good transort links and internally it is quiet with plenty of space on the ground floor for seating with a cafe and bar. However the local area is grubby and the station nearby attracts homeless drinking on the pavement, tent living and lots of youth wandering around in large groups.

Cosy and warm hotel lobby with great coffee shop. Amazing location right next to the East Side Gallery and opposite a major train station (Ostbahnhof). Really easy to check in and out with app on your phone and unlock your room with this app also. My only criticism is the pillows were like giant, mainly unformed bags of cotton wool.

Lovely property, we ate dinner in the restaurant which was great for a simple burger, never had any issues to require us to speak to staff as everything is done through the app including check in/out and room key, but reception was always manned. Bags were safe locked in the luggage room for day of departure, we hired a large locker for 12hr for €4. Lots of places to relax including a children’s play area. Right opposite a major train station (s bahn) with direct links to the airport which was easy to navigate for our late arrival.

Wonderful hotel. Family friendly and relaxed. Room and all common areas were really clean. Really comfy beds, air con great and Tv with apps appreciated. House keeping, towel replacement etc is on demand - ordered through reception or the app, this worked really well. We didn’t take breakfast but did get coffee and pastries from Martha’s and ate a few times at Hungry Bear (in house restaurant) in the evening. Really well connected with the train station opposite, which also has a supermarket and lots of places to eat inside. We loved the games room - with table football and toys for younger kids. Hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful. Also loved the art work and details about the history of walls around the world.
