All check I. Check out virtual only. No staff for issues. Our room had no bathroom . Had to go across commun hall to our private bathroom. Bathrobes would of been appreciated. Also. No mirror in bedroom. Had to go across hall if needed a mirror. We stayed Friday night. Live entertainment in restaurant downstairs till midnight. We’re travelling. Needed our sleep . Would never stay again . Pictures look good online but comfort and food night sleep important when travelling

What a wonderful find!!!! Felt like checking into a welcoming home. Room was great. Restaurant was out of this world! And loved the late night private bar. Would stay again in a heartbeat. The staff were exceptional.

Room (101): got less than expected compare to other hotels in that price range. The room needs a couch, another garbage can in the room, room door hard to close, badly missing shelfing space in the bathroom, coffee and water not easy to replenish. Lock on side door not easy to use. Please note the restaurant service was excellent.

Absolutely enjoyed the stay. Beautifully modernized room that enhanced elements of the original construction and layout. Common areas, stairway and halls have been restored close to original. Onsite restaurant and bar provided warm, personalized service. Fantastic food, great presentation and pleasant assistance during our stay.

The hotel was above a restaurant, so you needed to walk through the restaurant to get to your room since the rear door accessing the hotel units was not operational. The washroom was dedicated to our suite but was across the hall, so we needed to get dressed to use the washroom.

Wonderfully cozy little boutique hotel located downtown Shediac. The rooms are tastefully decorated to make you feel at home and comfortable but also with a touch of luxurious details that elevate the whole experience. We were two couples so we took the sweet which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms which are seperated by a door. The restaurant is also very nice with a well varied menu and great service. I highly recommend this place for your next Shediac stay.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstrasse und ist dadurch sehr laut. Wir hatten unser Zimmer im hinteren Teil des Hauses, trotzdem konnten wir Strassenlärm hören. Das Bett hat fürchterlich gequietscht, es war laut, jedesmal wenn man sich im Schlaf bewegt hat. Man konnte kein Fenster öffnen, diese waren verschlossen. Von oben und der Seite hörten wir die anderen Hotelgäste im Zimmer gehen. Es ist ein altes Haus, wunderschön, wirklich, aber für uns war der Geräuschpegel zu viel. Das Zimmer war aber sehr sauber und hübsch eingerichtet.

Our stay at Hôtel du Vieux Port was okay, but the music in the restaurant downstairs was left on all night and was very disruptive to our sleep. We ended up having to drown out the pervasive noise of the endless drum beat with the sound of a fan. The restaurant staff made me feel like we (as guests of the hotel) were a bit of an annoyance, and leaving the music on certainly didn't make me feel like they cared about the quality of our experience. Additionally, the description of our room failed to mention that the bathroom (which was admittedly very nice) was across the public hallway from our bedroom. While it was private, it did mean that any time we needed to use the bathroom (including at 3am when the music woke us both up) we felt like we needed to hurry and sneak across the hall. Overall, I would pick a different hotel for our next visit.

We had no issue with the fact the room is small and has no clothes closet. However the lack of inexpensive hooks by the door to hang our coats and in the washroom to hang our towels makes the room very inefficient.

Pay close attention to the special instructions, there is no hotel desk on site for check-in, nor did we encounter any hotel staff in person. We received timely email communication regarding door codes for entry. Also note when booking that one of the rooms has a separate private bathroom across the hall.

The overall stay was good..myself and my daughter just wanted a little getaway close to a beach Parlee beach was great..The only thing that I was not too happy about was the restaurant staff 1 lady( French)was not very pleasant when we asked questions. And the menu was not very accommodating to people who didn’t like seafood, but it would never stop me from going to the Inn our room was great! We had a very good weekend.

Not being used to renting a room where all staff are remote was difficult for my sister and I. We were unfamiliar with preregistration and didn't really understand the process. Once we got there was not even staff in the building where the restaurant where we had planned to have breakfast. the Phone staff was friendly and patient but we definitely missed having someone to greet us in person. I know at least one customer was lost because of the remote registration. Otherwise, the room was nice and the bed was comfortable, but to me the pillows were like bricks.

Wonderfully cozy little boutique hotel located downtown Shediac. The rooms are tastefully decorated to make you feel at home and comfortable but also with a touch of luxurious details that elevate the whole experience. We were two couples so we took the sweet which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms which are seperated by a door. The restaurant is also very nice with a well varied menu and great service. I highly recommend this place for your next Shediac stay.

The overall stay was good..myself and my daughter just wanted a little getaway close to a beach Parlee beach was great..The only thing that I was not too happy about was the restaurant staff 1 lady( French)was not very pleasant when we asked questions. And the menu was not very accommodating to people who didn’t like seafood, but it would never stop me from going to the Inn our room was great! We had a very good weekend.

What a wonderful find!!!! Felt like checking into a welcoming home. Room was great. Restaurant was out of this world! And loved the late night private bar. Would stay again in a heartbeat. The staff were exceptional.

Beautiful room. Bed was super comfy. Clean and esthetically welcoming. No on-site staff. Inn & Restaurant were closed so disappointed we didn’t get a full experience and had to go elsewhere to find food &drink

Absolutely enjoyed the stay. Beautifully modernized room that enhanced elements of the original construction and layout. Common areas, stairway and halls have been restored close to original. Onsite restaurant and bar provided warm, personalized service. Fantastic food, great presentation and pleasant assistance during our stay.

The atmosphere was very unique. I felt like flying back to 1800's and I liked the warm and luxury atmosphere. All the communication was done thru email and I was asked to do self check-in and self check-out. The breakfast looked so nice (24 dollar buffet). I was looking forward to having a chance to meet staff there while eating the looking nice breakfast but sadly restaurant was not open for breakfast. Then why they keep the breakfast menu in the room? I guess I'm an old school. Self check-in with no greeting and self check-out with no goodbye... hmmm I do not like it but I still like the hotel so I may come back.

Our stay at Hôtel du Vieux Port was okay, but the music in the restaurant downstairs was left on all night and was very disruptive to our sleep. We ended up having to drown out the pervasive noise of the endless drum beat with the sound of a fan. The restaurant staff made me feel like we (as guests of the hotel) were a bit of an annoyance, and leaving the music on certainly didn't make me feel like they cared about the quality of our experience. Additionally, the description of our room failed to mention that the bathroom (which was admittedly very nice) was across the public hallway from our bedroom. While it was private, it did mean that any time we needed to use the bathroom (including at 3am when the music woke us both up) we felt like we needed to hurry and sneak across the hall. Overall, I would pick a different hotel for our next visit.
