Hotel Siri Downtown - Paso Robles

Nice rooms, but the balcony door did not lock. When we arrived the elevator was working, but it was broke the next day and one of the building's exterior entry door sensors was broken so you had to walk more than half-way around the hotel to get in. Manager wanted a $200 cash deposit for "incidentals;" don't recall seeing that on the Expedia ad. Gave him two $100 bills that the receptionist placed into a folded paper that noted the deposit and stapled all the sides closed. When I checked out, I had to wait for the manager to return to get my deposit back and was finally given four $50 bills, obviously not from my deposit?

Balcony was nice No courtyard or pool area

Great little gem. Hotel seems to be new. Room was super clean, and well maintained. Everything worked perfectly including little fridge, and Keurig coffee machine. There is an ice machine by the elevator, few snack vending machines and even a small gym room featuring 2 elipticals and one threadmill. Parking is right in front of the bulding with plenty of spaces, and it's well lit. It's located little bit away from the downtown, (maybe 1-2 miles) however it's not an issue as you will be coming here by car anyways. Check in was quick, and gentlement at the desk was very profesional. Bear in mind that the front desk is not open after 10pm, but you have an option to dial 0 from your room and ask for help. Views from the room are nothing to write home about (at least the one we had), but most of the time this is a place to crash, after spending a day visiting local wineries. Plenty of dining options 5-10min away including super large Smar and Final and Rite Aid stores that are just around the corner.

Very good one night stay. One of the best hotel beds so far for a bigger guy like me. Staff was friendly. Has a washing machine and dryer. (2,50 + 1 $ only takes quarters)

Was a clean room. Bathroom was clean. Water didn’t go down fast in the shower tub. Blow dryer was acting up. Ver very small workout facility. No pool or jacuzzi. Overall will stay here again for a quick trip.

This is a converted motel so no surprises for people. It is very well appointed and clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and safe. The service was excellent- a call and text message for instructions on how to get the key. Our room, ice, the lounge etc. perfect place for a stopover or even a few days. There are some interior rooms with balconies.

Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Gym equipment not in working order and extremely small. Staff very friendly and helpful

Elevator was great to use. Door to outside of elevator needs a sign saying use inside door. The rooms near the outside door vibrate when the outer door is closed.

Room was comfortable but bathroom floor corners were full of dust and hadn't been properly cleaned. No working light over coffee bar area that made getting coffee in early morning a challenge. There was dog poop in the elevator lobby and inside the elevator upon arrival and it was still there the next day!!!.

Spotless and spacious! We will stay here every time we come to visit. The woman at the front desk was so sweet and her little dog was so cute.

The room smelled terrible. There was a hair in the shower. There was what appeared to be spit or some other bodily fluid on the table and the curtain. Asked front desk for a new room. They wanted to know if the bathroom was used and because it was, they couldn't provide a new room because they had no maid service. Had to find a different hotel and Siri has not responded for a refund request.

Clean spacious room with comfy beds. Convenient parking and good location to downtown

The backsplash on the sink had not been wiped and had both dirt, dust and had a hair on it from the previous resident. The draperies need to be re-hung, and the tears either taped with fabric tape, or sewn. Housekeeping forgot to re-stock the coffee so there was no coffee on the second day of our stay. The showerhead was very clogged, so the shower felt like a sprinkle, and was not great at rinsing off soap. Mentioned the showerhead to the housekeeping staff, but there was no indication that the showerhead was cleaned. There were dead gnats on the bathroom wall. We wiped off our gnat victims. Elevators did not work on either side of the building. Manager was upset with me at my mention that the lock on the balcony did not work. He asked if staff had mentioned the handle had to be turned up to lock. There was no written message near the lockset, so we had some anxiety over the security issue. No apology over that issue.

Check in was quick. Room was not super clean. One of the towels was dirty, hair in the shower, fridge had someone’s old food in it. Door wasn’t shut all the way when we got there - seems like they were in a rush cleaning it even though we got there late at night. Beds are ok comfy. Would choose another place next time.

No bells and whistles, but pretty new, clean, and comfortable. The bed was very comfy.

Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Good option when staying in Paso Robles. We traveled here just for the weekend and this hotel worked perfectly. Nearby to restaurants and shops.

Room was very nice and bed is super comfortable. It's nice place to stay but once people start getting up in the morning you know it lol. Doors slamming and peoples voices get you up starting around 630. Other than that it was a nice place

Honestly better than I expected it. Well lit at night in the parking lot. The room also had a lot of good lighting. Bed was pretty comfortable. Room was clean. Got a fridge and a microwave. Cable tv and the tv was actually bigger than expected. I definitely recommend this hotel. Guy at the lobby was super chatty and friendly. Overall great experience!

We were called at 3:40 (check in at 3) to see if we would still be coming. Odd. Our balcony door didn’t lock. The electric outlets in the bathroom didn’t work. There was no coffee maker in the room (one was brought up after we called) the second day we had to search for a housekeeping cart to replenish the coffee pods. We had to keep the door closed because of smokers on the balcony next door. The shower curtain was short, so water got onto the floor. Any one or 2 of these things would not have been an issue. Together I would not recommend staying here.

The room was clean and beds comfortable. The only issues, they offer a coffe maker but no water bottles or water to drink. Also, the window coverings did not cover the entire window. Curtain was not wide enough to keep light out and if we had lights on people outside can look inside our room.

Large spacious rooms that were very clean and modern. Just minutes from Downtown Paso Robles. Check in and out was a breeze!

Do not book room 208. It is the first room next to the entrance/exit upstairs. The entrance/exit door slams every time it is used causing the bed to shake in addition to the loud noise. The toilet tissue is so thin it’s see through.

A so so room that was better then the dumps around the area for just a few dollars more. A hard place to find in the beginning, but got easier after leaving a few times. The bed wasn't the best, but real clean and neat. For some reason, the shower didn't have an entrance wall, so water went all over the floor. Nightstands should be replaced, as the tops were all scared-up. Hire a painter to touch-up the walls, and front door. A no-frills place, that was better then most places around there area.

The owner / manager of the property was a miserable human being and acted like he was doing me a favor for staying there. I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed I am in the service! I actually think I woke him up as I believe he lives on site. I’ll never stay at The Siri hotel ever again!

Unfortunately my 2nd visit to this hotel was less than desirable. It started with empty soap and shampoo dispensers. We tried several times to contact the front desk and had to wait over 20 minutes to get a response. We asked if our room was to be cleaned when the staff did arrive and she said “yes”. We left for our day in town only to return to a dirty room and no towels. The front office closes at 10pm so we called and tried to access the lobby at 9:40pm. There was no one available, nor did calls to the office get a response. The next morning, the “manager” answered our call by saying that he saw our calls from the night before. When we told him we needed towels for our room and that our room was not cleaned, he stated that we had to come down to the lobby to pick up our towels because he was all by himself. My partner explained the situation to him and told him what wasn’t done and all he did was blame his staff. Later that morning when we checked out, I wanted to speak with him about how things were missed during our visit. He cut me off and said, “I already heard this from your partner. Do you expect me to sit here and listen to this again”. This incredibly rude and disrespectful response was not what I expected. Etiquette and good customer friendly relations is completely lost on this person. Instead all he wanted to do is make excuses. The best thing he could’ve done was apologize but this was beyond him. This person should never speak to guests. I will never return!

Worst customer service that I’ve experienced. There’s a sign with two phone numbers that you have to call to obtain the keys but none of them answer. The staff that provided the keys after calling multiple times was rude. I would recommend spending a little more to avoid this service. The place was clean but I would not recommend.

Avoid This Hotel: A Truly Unacceptable Experience Our stay at this hotel was incredibly frustrating and fell far short of expectations. We rarely leave negative reviews, but this was truly one of a kind. The owner demanded a $200 cash deposit, claiming it helped guests care for items. This forced us to find a bank, delaying our plans. Upon returning from dinner, we were locked out, finding the owner waiting for the cash – an unprofessional start. Inside, the balcony door wouldn't lock, a major security concern. When we asked for help, the owner was extremely annoyed, dismissively telling us to "push the door up." It didn't work, and he offered no assistance, leaving us feeling unsafe. Housekeeping was non-existent unless requested. We tried to call room service for cleaning, but the line didn't work. The owner, when called at the front desk, claimed he "never had issues with the phone." Our room was never cleaned. Requesting towels was another ordeal. The owner said he was "busy" and told us to come downstairs. After waiting 25 minutes for them to be delivered, we had to retrieve them ourselves. Incredibly unprofessional. Finally, the AC unit was loud and ineffective, failing to maintain temperature. This added to our discomfort. This hotel showed a shocking lack of customer service and professionalism. The owner's attitude was consistently unhelpful and rude. Choose another hotel for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Do not stay here. I am still trying to cancel my reservation for this hotel that I did not check into. An employee called me a few hours before check-in and told me I would need to bring $200 in cash as a security deposit. That’s high for a deposit, but more importantly, the security deposit should not be cash. The property listing states that the hotel does not accept cash. I was not asked for cash until it was too late to cancel and find a new hotel. After that, I was suspicious and did not want to leave my credit card with this hotel, so I called Hotels.com and asked to change hotels. Even though I had paid them in full upon booking, Hotels.com still has not given me a refund. I got the runaround from several reps who promised me that it would be taken care of as soon as the hotel manager responded to their calls. The manager was not picking up the phone. In the meantime, I had to book a second room so my friends and I would have a place to stay, as we were already on the road. It’s a 6-hour drive for us. I started this on Friday and it is now Sunday, and it’s still not resolved. This is ruining my vacation and my credit.

We checked in at 5pm and left at 9am but no problems whatsoever. Easy check in. Large, clean, quiet room with fridge. Very friendly staff.

I want to thank Norman for the 5 star service! Very informative about the area and his referrals for dining within the area were on point! Made our stay in Paso Robles very enjoyable especially for a very heavy tourist weekend!

Hotel Siri offers a great location, just a 12 short blocks walk from downtown. While not right in the heart of the action, the walkability makes it a convenient choice. The area feels safe, rooms are clean, and there’s plenty of parking available, making it a hassle-free stay.

Great location near the fairgrounds

Stayed at Hotel Siri recently. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. I especially liked the second-floor balcony—it’s a nice touch. That said, the hotel is about a mile from downtown Paso Robles, so it’s not really “downtown” and not the most walkable to shops or restaurants. Another downside: there’s no breakfast offered, and the vending machine was almost empty during my visit. Overall, it’s a decent option if you don’t mind driving for food or essentials. Checkout was quick and easy.

Short walk to downtown and Paso Market walk

This property is more like a motel since all of the rooms face outside. The room I stayed in was nice. Beds were comfy, roomy and clean. Noise can be an issue when you’re on the first floor and if other guests slam their doors nearb. Other than that it’s a nice place to stay in a good location in Paso which is walkable to the event center and not too far from downtown.

Very modern and updated. About a 5 minute drive to the downtown area.

Everything is close by. Used uber everytime and it was cheap each time. Fair grounds very close. Clean and safe.

It was nice enough, but not memorable. Fridge and microwave stacked next to the TV stand worked great. No bar, no breakfast, two chairs but no table out on the balcony, you'd have to bring the table out and back in again if you wanted to have wine and snacks out there. Nice location, a brief walk to the town square at the other end of Spring Street. Lots of dining options around.

Front desk service from Norman was great... Gave us suggestions on which vineyards to visit Graveyard was one... Room was clean... Quiet and hotel was close to Bubbas BBQ we walked there... Thank you for a great stay....

I enjoyed the modern amenities, size and cleanliness the room. The beds were very comfortable and the location was very quiet even though it’s close to downtown. The stay was comparable to the more expensive brand name hotels. Hopefully they will provide a little breakfast area in the future, but being so close to restaurants, food was readily available.

Very basic place to stay. Not really walking distance to any dining. Parking right in front of room was plus. Rooms themselves were fine- your standard room and clean. Outside smelled funny but we were there right after a lot of rain so maybe drainage was not great. Good deal for price. Nothing special.

The room was clean and the hotel is very close to the freeway. A couple of things that I didn’t like was not being able to pay in cash and there's no breakfast offered at this hotel.

The room was nicely decorated and was roomy in size. The mattress must have been 24 or so inches and was very comfy. I usually need to bring my Roku stick for TV but the huge variety in channels to choose from made that unnecessary. The nick big shower has a nice bench to fold down and they have body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower and the dispenserby the sink has face and hand soap plus an additional one for lotion. I would highly recommend Hotel Siri. It is walking distance from several restaurants, the fairground and CVS etc. I was going to stay 2nights but decided one more night which I easily was able to do.
