Motel One is a very clean hotel. Staff were good. Rooms are small and only really appropriate for sleeping. Don't count on getting any work done as there is no desk. The lounge on the main floor of this hotel is very comfortable. The area of the hotel seems fine, but at night it's not well lit and there aren't many people around.

Ein schönes neues Hotel in guter, zentraler Lage. Das waren aber auch schon die positiven Merkmale. Negativ: 1.) TG-Einfahrt ist so versteckt und kann von der Hauptverkehrsstraße nicht angefahren werden. Mußte drei Anläufe nehmen um die winzige Einbahnstraße vorm Hotel zu finden.2.) Für 18,-- Euro Frühstück nur ein Standard-Buffett bekommen, kein Rührei, kaum Auswahl bei Käse, Wurst, Brot und Säften. 3.) Orientierung im Hotel ein Katastrophe. Kaum Schilder bzw. nur sehr winzige. Empfang gut versteckt hinter dem Aufzugstrakt. 4.) Dafür war dann der Übernachtungspreis mit fast 130,-- Euro voll überzogen.

The hotel is tucked away from the pedestrian/tourist heavy areas, which were still just a few minutes away on foot. The large lounge area in the lobby was fantastic. As for the room, I was in a queen room facing the street - it was very quiet and comfortable, with modern arrangement and decor - a nice set up for relaxing as well for working in the room. A very comfortable and convenient place to stay for my quick few days in the city.

Wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Motel One Frankfurt Römer für 3 Nächte gehabt. Super zentral gelegen mit eigener Tiefgarage. Einfahrt und Stellplätze gut dimensioniert. 5 Gehminuten zur Altstadt, etwa 15 zum Main-Tower. Alles top sauber, sehr freundliches Personal. Hatte ein Zimmer mit Blick zur Skyline - super! Ich empfehle bei entsprechender Buchung, das Frühstücksbuffet vor 8 Uhr morgens aufzusuchen, da es spätestens dann zusehends voller werden kann. Absolute Empfehlung und jederzeit wieder!

Room was clean and perfect for the solo traveller, hotel is modern and has a premium feel despite being a budget chain. Excellent bathroom and shower facilities; good hot water and water pressure. Location is fantastic, with tram stop right outside and the old Römer across the road. Didn't have breakfast during my stay but looked like a normal European buffet breakfast option.

We were there when the weather was unseasonably hot and they had the heat on. It made our room on the 5th floor extremely warm and uncomfortable to sleep. We were unable to turn on any central air individually in our room and they said there was nothing they could do. Location is great minus the really loud street racing and partying going on in the street.

The rooms were very small and there was very little storage to even set your suitcase up. There were no closets and very tiny areas in the room to hang anything up with only 5 hangers. There were two of us in the room and they gave us one duvet that would not cover us both. The front desk people were very, very helpful and it was close to many attractions.

I will always stay here when I visit Frankfurt. The best part is the tram stop right at the front door. It's also 3 stops from the main train station. I was super impressed that one of the young ladies at the front desk remembered me from a previous stay weeks earlier. They are so friendly and the hotel is really worth it.

The rooms have no coffee makers. One morning I asked the staff member at the breakfast area if I could please have a coffee and she took my room number and showed me where to get it. The next morning I asked again. A man told me no, then put his hand out and said "2 Euros". I said I don't have cash with me and he shrugged and turned his back to me. I went to the front desk to ask why it was ok one day, and not the next. A man at the front desk looked up my room number and said I wasn't billed for the previous coffee. I said ok, please add the charges to my room and he said "We cannot". I said it's silly not to have coffee available for guests and he said "It's our standard". As I walked away, frustrated, he repeated this to my back so I returned to the desk and said the standard is a poor standard. Coffee is a staple item at nearly every hotel around the globe. This hotel is quite happy to charge an overpriced breakfast to my room, but not coffee. Very disappointed with the staff's attitude and lack of common sense and accommodation for such a simple and standard request. I won't be staying with this hotel chain ever again. The room itself was small, but very quiet. I was supplied only one towel and a twin duvet for a king bed. The fan and room thermostat didn't seem to work.

We’ve stayed as a few Motel Ones this trip and this one was a perfect location. Only issue I had was the staff was not as friendly. The front desk accidentally charged 4 days of parking for a two night stay. I was not angry, mistakes happen. When I noticed it on the invoice I went back to the front desk to have it corrected. I was first told the person who did it was on break but to come back later. I asked the girl if she was not able to do it herself. She said she was in training and did not know how to. She then said she had another colleague in the back and brought him out. There was no apology or for the mistake. he rudely asked for my credit card and gave me my paperwork that he credited me back. Again, no apology or remorse for the overcharge. I’m sorry, but I expect an apology when you make a mistake especially when you’re overcharging me. I didn’t go down angry. I just pointed out the mistake and asked them to fix it. I expect much better service from them since we received much better service in the other cities that we stayed with them. I also noticed that breakfast tables were not cleared so it made it harder to find a place to eat during the week when the hotel is crowded.

We were walking distance to the Christmas Market and many downtown businesses. It was easy to get around and see the local sights. The breakfast buffet was 16€ and tasty. Seating was a bit awkward as there were very few seats for people at a breakfast table available.
