Wonderful pool and gym - perhaps the best I've seen in the area. The hotel should invest in local musicians - I only saw the gamelan set used once during my long stay in the cool and spacious lobby.

It’s truly a great hotel with super breakfast and a small kids club. The gym is super, one of the best I have ever seen in Asia. One thing to note, there are several mosques in close proximity… as a result you might hear the prayer callings at 4 am in the morning.

Zij geven de bezoekers zoveel extra aandacht “top” Hiermee wil ik het andere personeel zeker niet te kort doen, want van de concierge , bewakers tot bediening ze waren allemaal even vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamers zijn uitstekend. Ruim en van alle gemaken voorzien. Heerlijk groot bed en een over heerlijke douche. Hotel beschikt over een prachtige gym ruimte met zeer ruime keuze. Ook een heerlijk zwembad met een lengte van ruim 30 meter lang. Dit hotel verdient geen 10 in mijn ogen maar een dikke 12. “TOP” Indien mogelijk hoop ik hier zeer zeker terug te komen.

leider gibt dort keine draussen zum spaziergang laufen. nur im Gebäude..auch Schwimmbad würde gereinigt leider sieht man dort Wasser trüb aus.. es macht uns Mut trotzdem schwimmen.. auch beim Breakfast gibt fast immer deselbe keine Abweschelung und keine gute Beobachtung um Ordendlich bei Kindern bei Breakfast. Manche es macht uns schlecht..lieber gehen wir doch andere Hotel gehen. Sonst wir zufrieden mit diesem Hotel.

Nice hotel but room too tired now and desperately need refurbishment. Some weird smell when entered the room. Shower room has faulty part so I used the bath often. Breakfast really nice varieties but taste very average. I expected more from this as one of the reason I booked to stay in this hotel. I would say overall it’s overrated. Gym facilities is fab though!

They made a few mistakes in the beginning with my room but they made up for them with extra excelent service, shout out to Mr Yanto and mba Belinda at Kayu Manis restaurant and all the staff at the restaurant for treating me and my Mom with smile, kindness and professionalism. Whilst the property is grand, it feels to be lacking a soul. If you are travelling with a family, you will probably find the children running up and down the bedroom corridors, screaming in the lobby and running between the tables of the cocktail bar on a Saturday night reassuring. The buffet breakfast contained many local choices and was clearly popular with the packed large dining hall, the overflow tables in the corridor and the roped queuing area and the rows of dentist style waiting room chairs for those wanting to eat. Whilst the hotel seemed popular with the many, many people who were there, it wasn't what we were expecting or hoping for. The out of town location was also not helpful for us as tourists in Yogyakarta.
