I must say this hotel was a pleasant surprise!! It is definitely a place to go if you just want to unwind, reset and relax. The staff is extremely accommodating. They made sure that our every need was met. They offered services such as calling for a cab, Ordering breakfast, Readily having scooters and bikes available. The room was clean and smelled extremely fresh. All of the amenities are new. They checked in daily to make sure that all of our needs were being meet. All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The setup is like an airbnb, except you have the option for hotel amenities and services. I will absolutely book here again!! The ambiance is very boho, and relaxing at night. It's a beautiful sight!!

This is truly a gem of a small boutique hotel and this was our second of I’m sure many visits to this property. It’s the design, the pool and most importantly the staff who make this our home away from home in Tulum. We came in November for our anniversary and birthdays and again the trip we returned to Tulum because of this hotel and staff. They recommend the best of the best in Tulum and have a wide variety of knowledge of the area and are food and experience lovers themselves so they know where to send you and can call ahead for any tips of the moment for guests. Stay here, it’s a dream of a hotel and with only 9 rooms, you have their utmost attention!

Great option if you are looking to stay in Tulum center. Parking onsite, convenient to many good restaurants, nice pool and lobby to hang out, and rooms modern and clean with great AC. Hard to beat the price and quality here.

El hotel es pequeño y acogedor. La atención del personal magnífica. La zona apenas está en desarrollo, y alrededor muchas obras en construcción, pero dentro de la habitación no se alcanzan a escuchar ruidos molestos. Tal vez para algunas personas sea incómodo qué las calles no estén pavimentadas. Cuenta con lugares para comer relativamente cerca. Cuenta con estacionamiento, lo cual se agradece. En general un buen lugar para hospedarse.

The staff at the property were amazing! Romina gave me a ride into town one day and Brenda was also really helpful. They are both amazing women. The hotel itself is so darn cute! They have cute rooms with Edison lights and the pool is great. The road is really pot holey so be prepared for that. My taxi driver called them Tulum cenotes when it rains. It is a little far from town but they have restaurants and shops around there. It's a great place to stay I'd you want quiet. I will definitely book it again if I go back to Tulum!

Beautiful new boutique hotel in Tulum. Super helpful management. Only 9 rooms in total, so very private. Loved the indoor/ outdoor lobby/ courtyard/ pool space. Little cafe opposite was great for breakfast before going to the ruins too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Gem. The road getting to it isn't the best with lots of potholes and limited lighting but the reward of the hotel makes up for this. The rooms very clean and we never felt unsafe at this place. The staff was always willing to help and offer suggestions and advice for places to go and things to see. We could come back in a heartbeat.

Little Gen Hotel is truly a little gem. The property is quiet, aesthetic, and has a private & romantic vibe. It is a little paradise amidst the busy streets that surround it. The property has a gate/door and is surrounded by a wall that underscores its safety. Above all, though, the staff was outstanding. All of the attendants were extremely kind, gave us great recommendations for things to do nearby, and were very accommodating to our requests. We visited for our honeymoon, and once they found that out they decorated our room which was also a very kind and personal touch. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay at Little Gem! This place is phenomenal. Nice quite hotel near Tulum Center, restaurants and a smoothie stand! The rooms are very clean, spacious and you get your own balcony. The staff are incredibly friendly. Special thanks to Nestor, Mayumy, for their exceptional work and recommendations! I would definitely stay at Little Gem again.

The property is in fact a hidden gem and the employees are very professional but the surroundings are still under construction. There is not breakfast available on site. They do offer free american coffee all day and there is a nespresso coffee machine in every room.

This hotel is very charming and quaint, yet updated and modern. It’s a cozy 9 room boutique hotel with wonderful staff service and privacy. The location was great in La Valetta and close to everything to walk to. The rates were very fare, I will definitely stay here again great value!

Todo está súper bien los empleados son muy atentos, pero en la regadera deberían de poner tapete de baño, ya que se resbala y el agua de la alberquita del cuarto debería ser caliente, ni la ocupe estaba helada

All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The setup is like an airbnb, except you have the option for hotel amenities and services. I will absolutely book here again!! The ambiance is very boho, and relaxing at night. It's a beautiful sight!!
I must say this hotel was a pleasant surprise!! It is definitely a place to go if you just want to unwind, reset and relax. The staff is extremely accommodating. They made sure that our every need was met. They offered services such as calling for a cab, Ordering breakfast, Readily having scooters and bikes available. The room was clean and smelled extremely fresh. All of the amenities are new. They checked in daily to make sure that all of our needs were being meet. Little Gen Hotel is truly a little gem. The property is quiet, aesthetic, and has a private & romantic vibe. It is a little paradise amidst the busy streets that surround it. The property has a gate/door and is surrounded by a wall that underscores its safety. Above all, though, the staff was outstanding. All of the attendants were extremely kind, gave us great recommendations for things to do nearby, and were very accommodating to our requests. We visited for our honeymoon, and once they found that out they decorated our room which was also a very kind and personal touch. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at the property were amazing! Romina gave me a ride into town one day and Brenda was also really helpful. They are both amazing women. The hotel itself is so darn cute! They have cute rooms with Edison lights and the pool is great. The road is really pot holey so be prepared for that. My taxi driver called them Tulum cenotes when it rains. It is a little far from town but they have restaurants and shops around there. It's a great place to stay I'd you want quiet. I will definitely book it again if I go back to Tulum!

We really enjoyed our stay here. V quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The staff here is amazing here and are v knowledgeable of the city and can help you plan your days. We spent most of our day and night out n about in Tulum and enjoyed coming back to hotel. This is a cozy, quiet place and would recommend if you're looking for that.

The property was beautiful well equipped with everything a smart traveler would require and a lot you wouldn’t think of. We were completely safe there. It was beautiful. I give it a 10 in the aesthetics department; but beyond a doubt, best thing about this place is the excellence par-none of the staff! Willing & happy to go above and beyond! Whatever it takes to make your stay memorable, relaxing & full of fun activities!

This hotel is very charming and quaint, yet updated and modern. It’s a cozy 9 room boutique hotel with wonderful staff service and privacy. The location was great in La Valetta and close to everything to walk to. The rates were very fare, I will definitely stay here again great value!

Great option if you are looking to stay in Tulum center. Parking onsite, convenient to many good restaurants, nice pool and lobby to hang out, and rooms modern and clean with great AC. Hard to beat the price and quality here.

La zona apenas está en desarrollo, y alrededor muchas obras en construcción, pero dentro de la habitación no se alcanzan a escuchar ruidos molestos. Tal vez para algunas personas sea incómodo qué las calles no estén pavimentadas. Cuenta con lugares para comer relativamente cerca. Cuenta con estacionamiento, lo cual se agradece. En general un buen lugar para hospedarse.

The room itself is worth the money. However, the location is super terrible. You can find an electric wire hanging halfway in front of the door. The location is far away from the main street so it's very expensive to take a cab. The taxi driver cursed every time for the terrible road condition and obviously we were not happy listening to complaints as well. If you want to save money, consider the potential cost taking cab too. It's gonna be $20 - $50 for each one way trip wherever you go.

The only thing that we always had a struggle everytime we go out was to be extra careful on the road especially at night . It was bumpy and there were no signs at all. But we had a nice stay. Its 9/10 for me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Gem. The road getting to it isn't the best with lots of potholes and limited lighting but the reward of the hotel makes up for this. The rooms very clean and we never felt unsafe at this place. The staff was always willing to help and offer suggestions and advice for places to go and things to see. We could come back in a heartbeat.

The property is in fact a hidden gem and the employees are very professional but the surroundings are still under construction. There is not breakfast available on site. They do offer free american coffee all day and there is a nespresso coffee machine in every room.

Beautiful new boutique hotel in Tulum. Super helpful management. Only 9 rooms in total, so very private. Loved the indoor/ outdoor lobby/ courtyard/ pool space. Little cafe opposite was great for breakfast before going to the ruins too.

Sehr sauberes und gemütliches Zimmer. Extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, das uns viele gute Tipps gegeben hat (Restaurant und Ruinen). Im Innenhof ist ein hübscher Pool. Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr ruhig. Parken war ohne Probleme auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz möglich.

We stayed 7 nights at Little Gem Hotel in Tulum (Early April), located in the La Veleta neighbourhood. This was our very first vacation in Mexico, so we don’t have much to compare it to—but our experience was fantastic. We chose this hotel based on its price, location, and the most recent reviews, and it definitely lived up to expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful, the rooms and pool were consistently clean, and the location was perfect—especially if you enjoy great food, whether authentic or fusion. Nestor and Mayumy went above and beyond to help us discover the area. They recommended excellent restaurants and guided us to beautiful beaches, cenotes, and lagoons. The hotel also offers free bike rentals, and affordable scooter rentals can be easily arranged through the front desk, which made getting around very convenient. We would absolutely love to come back in the near future.
