Residence Inn By Marriott Dallas By The Galleria

Hotel was great, check in was the smoothest I’ve ever experienced. Only turn off was the pool surrounding area was dirty with garbage and smelled like cat urine (which could be out of their control)

The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. The hotel is adjacent to AC Hotel which is very convenient to use their lobby, pool and breakfast area.

This "Residence Inn by Marriott" is running on a low budget and short staff. You literally check in at the "AC Hotel by Marriott" connected to the Residence Inn portion, requiring a long walk. They closed the Reception desk at the Residence Inn and share one with the AC. There is no valet parking. Only 1 employee at the desk. They rarely answer the phone without long hold time. The A/C in our first room wasn't working. The carpets in the halls are dirty and littered. The pool is small and all the sling chairs and lounges have rips in the fabric. The pool is full of small children splashing everyone. There is also NO ROOM SERVICE!!! The only meal I had was at the shared bar, and was overcooked. I was shocked at the complacency of the staff. All complaints are met with "I am the only one here." The bar and food closes at 10:00. I could go on!

Beautiful hotel. They didn’t have the room we reserved but was able to make accommodations that worked out even better. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was nice. My only complaint was the pool furniture. It’s pretty worn and mildewed. Definitely time to upgrade it. Overall I plan on staying again.

I loved everything about this hotel except having to pay for parking. I probably won’t stay here again because of that. But other than that, it was amazing!

I GOT MY CAR STOLEN Parked Right Outside The Hotel. We went to our car in the morning to find out it was missing. We go to the front desk to ask if it had been possibly towed (it was parked correctly and right outside the hotel), staff from night shift AND day shift KNEW it had been stolen. Knew what car, and what time it was taken and NEVER called the police. When I confronted her about it employee said "who where we suppose to tell?" Turns out SEVERAL guests from the hotel knew our car had been stolen before we even did, One guest even told me the staff knew when it was going on and didn't bother to do anything about it. I understand parking it on the sreet was "on our own risk" but I do believe if you see a robbery going on YOU CALL THE POLICE. I talked to manager and didn't care at all about it either. VERY VERY bad service, I believe they could have prevented by a simple call to the authorizes.

Took points off for parking. There's a very limited amount of roadside parking and they charge $24 per night for their guest parking garage

Parking too expensive but thankfully timing of parking in free spot worked. When congested too much to ask $24 per night

Room was good, didn’t like how you had to pay an extra $25 a night for parking in garage

Stayed here many times before and this time wasn’t great. Dirty room (graffiti and blood on bathroom walls) and the dishwasher STANK as did the closet. Even the staff made a grossed out face. Booked last minute and had an additional $125 in parking and pet fees .

And the reward goes to the cleaning staff❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🏆🥇🏅🥇 I came here following a 2-day stay at the Westin@ park in Dallas but that “4-star” don’t compare to the residents inn at this location. Westin: urine smelling lobby and clear evidence that dirty mop water is used, my hotel room looked barely clean and cause unknown allergy flairs vs. clean linen smells floating through the lobby of the residence inn… when we got to our room that level of cleanliness was observed throughout!! I couldn’t find dust❣️❣️❣️❣️🙏 I had to compliment the gentleman on duty from 7/5-7/7 yeah that level of clean! Keep up the great work and the only disappointment was that I didn’t book this location for my entire duration in Dallas😭 the location is great, free parking king available, great customer service and did I mention the housekeeping is awesome and truly the reason this place excels they know what clean is. Bittersweet moment was on Saturday July 6 I was happy their bar was closed because in my kid it showed they valued their employees (it was strategically wise, most hotels don’t generate revenue at their bars during holidays) however on this day I didn’t want to leave the hotel so selfishly didn’t want to go out. However, I don’t think they should change their practices… there are too many nice places and even within walking distance. I appreciate that they gave their staff the time off and closed the restaurant and bar during this holiday❣️🙏❤️

Clean and sparkling clean!

Overall, the stay was very good. My only complaints are related to cleanliness. Both of the new towels provided by housekeeping partway through my stay were stained. I also encountered a cockroach in the bathroom near the end of my stay, which was quite gross.

Only thing I didn’t like is that our ac didn’t work

The room size was great. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. We did have issues with low water pressure in the shower, the curtains in the bedroom were broken and didn’t fully close, and the ac unit in the living room made a really loud, rattling noise. That being said, service was great, the room was still cold, and the bed was comfortable.

Loved my stay there, would definitely stay here again. The pool is great, breakfast was good. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Only two complaints: the fee for parking and the way the shower is configured. Water sprays all over the floor because half of the shower is open. But other than that, it was great!

Pros: -The room was a little more spacious than typical non-suite Marriot studio room. -The kitchenette Cons: - We switched rooms initally because some items were broke and it was an ADA room. The 2nd room we were in we had to physically push the door close as it never shut completely on its on. Also, later that night, we realized the deadbolt lock didn't work, only that latch thing. -TV was not on a 180 degree lazy Susan -As of Feb 2, 2025, Hotel parking was $25. I don't understand why that price given the area, or even why there was a fee. However, there was plenty of street parking, which we did. -The shower is one of those walk-ins with a partial/half glass wall. So it is impossible to get the steam effect from a hot shower. I couldn't adjust the position of the showerhead which was pointed partially toward the fiberglass shower wall, instead of centerd. And the floor outside the shower was soaked after each shower even with a towel on the floor. -We stayed over the weekend and didn't realize breakfast ended at 9:30am -Lighting in the bathroom is horrible for applying makeup Indifferent: -Other than the mall, which we weren't interested in, there wasn't much to do in this area. -The immediate area was very quiet, and the hotel was next to a lux apt complex. -This is a dual hotel - AC Hotel and Residence Inn with shared ammenities. Check in occurs via the AC entrance. -Other than breakfast, I didn't see any staff on the Residence Inn side of hotel.

Residence Inn was super nice. We walked in and immediately felt a luxurious atmosphere. The clerks were friendly, and had smiles on their faces when we approached them for check-in and check-out. Our room was top-notch. The king bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were super soft and supple. The bathroom was modern and sleek. However, the shower was a bit leaky. My friend and I had to put multiple towels down right under where the door opens, because the water kept seeping out through the glass. I’m not sure why that happen, but we made sure the door was shut all the way before taking a shower. Overall, our stay was very nice. We were both pleased with everything The Residence Inn king suite had to offer. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, and would come back.

Very large, quiet and comfortable rooms with a kitchen. I will come back here if I come back to Dallas.

Clean room. Staff was very helpful. The only thing that bothered us was the internet/tv service in the bedroom, it would buffer every few seconds. And on the tv in the front room some of the channels weren't working. Other than that everything was great. Hot water in the shower. Comfy bed. Full size fridge, silverware and dishes. Bottle/wine opener.

The hotel was nice but during the first night there was a constant banging noise in the ceiling in the kitchen area of the room that made it sound like someone was knocking throughout the night. The front desk said they would have someone look at it but we never got a response and it did it the entire second night as well. Made it very hard to sleep.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. She helped me get an UBER on my app to get to the airport on time at 300 am. I would have been lost without her! Thank you so much 😊

Got in late . Front desk rep jasmine was amazing and made us feel welcomed and answered all of our questions. She was great and very hospitable.

It was a great area and quiet and safe. Staff was not very informative at all. You have to enter going into the AC hotel entrance and parking was confusing. Had to find our own room without directions. All which could’ve been avoided if the staff had done her job right.

Once again, a great and fun stay. Jasmine was helpful as always when the garage wasn’t accepting the key card again. Pretty much 5 stars all the way.

The room was so awesome! My friend and I had such a cozy stay. Jasmine was really friendly and helpful when our garage key was not working. I would wanna stay at this place a hundred times over.

The best room I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful amenities. Alyssa at the front desk was very friendly, professional and welcoming.

Location was very convenient for downtown and the airport. The hotel was quiet and in a safe neighbourhood.

Easy access to 635 and Galleria Mall

Hotel is good, but it's merged with the AC hotel, which makes it a bit complicated (only 1 reception, but 2 breakfast buffets,..) Parking is 24$ per night, but free at the street next to the hotel, so just park there. They charged me for parking in the parking lot, which I never did. After a phone call they gave me a refund for the charge. You cannot do anything by foot, so a car is recommended, downtown is 20 min away.

This property was walking distance to the galleria mall and only $15-30 dollar Ubers back to the hotel depending on the time of day/night.

Good convenient location

Exemplary service, with a very relaxed environment, just a few minutes from downtown Dallas if you use the toll and within walking distance of the galleria.

The hotel ambiance was immaculate, the rooms are updated and comfortable. Pillows and bed were awesome. Breakfast was great. 10/10 experience, will definitely go back.

Gorgeous, clean, great breakfast and friendly staff. A little confusing with which hotel/restaurant is which.

Overall it was a good stay. My only complaint was there were no towels in the room and the food offered on the menu wasn't good with the exception of the breakfast which was great.

We came down for spring break, the hotel was so convenient and great location! The free breakfast was so awesome and free coffee, couldn’t ask for anything better .

Everything was great. The only one thing I will mention is that this place share the location with another Hotel, so it’s little confusing at arriving and check in. Also the breakfast from one hotel and the other is completely different, I was about to eat in the wrong breakfast until one of the hotel staff mentioned to me. Little frustrating but no big deal.
