Great service at the front desk. The room was super clean. Seems like a brand new hotel. Facilities were in great condition. The gym!!’ By far one of the best equipped gyms I’ve seen in a mid-range hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was also great. Ate lunch and dinner there and everything was really good. As far as location, it’s about 15-ish minutes to centro. As a New Yorker, no problem for me but for others it might be.

Hotel com excelente localização, a cerca de 200m da estação. Trindade do metrô. Linha direta do Aeroporto. Hotel moderno, atendimento bom. Hotel limpo, silencioso, super confortavel com cama reclinavel, moveis modernos, tecnologia de ponta. O hotel possui um bar no deck, academia completa e moderna. Hotel was clean. Good breakfast. Walking distance to old town. Located on the busy street which is not my best choice if I would know in advance. You have to make reservation for parking an advance and pay for it separately. It was big surprise for us.

In general this hotel was decent. Location was definitely a PRO. The heating and cooling was a bit off. It was hard to find that just right zone. Maybe that was due to the time of year we went (Nov-Dec). We were on higher floor and heard the rooftop music/party from 10pm-1am. After inquiring the hotel said they rent out that area and unfortunately they dont have much control what happens there from that time range. This was unfortunate because we had a young child. So just keep that in mind when booking.

Points positifs : petit déjeuner, parking avec bornes de recharges, situation géographique proche de la rue commerçante et pas si loin du centre historique à pied si on a une bonne condition physique Points negatifs : chambre au 8ème étage (le bar roof top du 9ème étage diffuse de la musique trop fort de 20h à 1h du matin directement dans la chambre, et personne ne vous previens lors du check-in). L'agencement de la chambre avec lit double est assez spécial avec la salle de bain qui est en fait le couloir entre la porte d'entrée et la pièce. Il manque cruellement d'une table un peu plus grande et de tables basses. Le lit a l'air d'avoir une commande électrique pour relever le dossier mais elle ne fonctionnait pas. Lumières un peu complexe à utiliser. Pas de prise électrique à proximité du lit. Juste des prises USB-A dont un côté du lit qui ne marchait pas du tout.

The hotel was very conveniently located about 1-1/2 blocks away from the Tridade metro train station, however I didn't take the metro while there because I wanted to explore the city by foot. The hotel was very near the main road where all the shopping/ restaurants/ wine bars were located. It was about a 16 minute walk to the Dom Luis bridge but be prepared to walk many hills back to the hotel. The room itself was very nice and the hotel facilities: gym, dining restaurant, roof top bar were excellent.

I noticed how warm and helpful the front desk staff were upon check in, and this was consistent throughout my stay. House keeping were excellent, thoroughly cleaning the room each day. The room was well organised and comfortable, though the bed was a little firm for my preference (but that’s just me!). I can easily and strongly recommended this hotel.

It was a lovely stay at YOTEL Porto. It’s true the rooms are small, but since we stayed for a long weekend it’s all we needed. The rooms are always cleaned, I was impressed. The reception and any staff members were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We even tried the room service and it was amazing.

Although I didn't use it, I thought that the Robots were unique. The hotel is average looking on the outside but very modern and sleek on the inside. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice and spacious but the floor was dirty. I noticed it after my shower and the bath towel on the floor was filthy when it got wet.

Very clean and modern hotel. Our family particularly loved water pressure and rain shower. The lounge on the ground level was really comfortable and overall all hotel staff was professional.

Hotel is very close to metro station and very walkable to lower part of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than expected. There was no wardrobe or drawer to put things away. The lighting is very dim. What disappointed us the most was we asked for a quiet room but were placed right under the roof top restaurant where they rented out for late night parties until 1am on Friday and Saturday. The loud music and peoples noises woke us up and didn't start to die down until 1:30am. We made three phone calls to Reception who tried to keep the noise down but wasn't successful. They also offered to switch us to another room which we appreciated the gesture. We did not take up the offer because of too much hassle. It spoiled our night's sleep. The breakfast is good but the place was rather crammed.

The hotel in general was good for the money However I had booked a double bed, only to find that have been given 2 single beds. This impacted my sleep as I had a CPAP machine, which meant I needed to be on the single bed beside the desk. This made sleeping very uncomfortable as I kept thinking that I might hit my head on the desk while asleep.

Good location, a little ways from the main downtown core. Good if you like a little walk. Did not like the room lighting. Was difficult to figure out switches and kept turning off automatically which was annoying. Seemed like it was trying too hard to be “smart” with being able to change the colour but it was annoying to try and find a colour that was okay.

The fridge was set to keep things above room temperature. Wasn’t big enough to hold much If you aren’t travelling with your spouse it can be very awkward. Frosted shower wall looking into the bedroom. Offers little to no privacy.

Other than the comfort of the bed, I didn’t find it pleasant. Checkin was cold. 3 girls were typing away and discussing amongst themselves while i waited to be acknowledged. Twas a good 5 minutes before i got a hello and an apology for not paying me any attention. One of them was a bit rude. The other didn’t really know what to do and the other was typing away. Not a good first impression for a first timer to yotel chain. TV in room is not working. We didn’t want to complain for fear that the rude girl would be mad at us for letting them know. The windows couldn’t be latched. So we heard everything that is happening outside til the wee hours of the morning. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. The omelette station was the nicest and the chef was attentive. The rest of the bfast crew was unfriendly. Not going back again. Very disappointed.

Excellent value hotel in a good location. Clean and tidy room with quirky multicoloured lighting, rainfall shower, blackout blinds. Also has an interesting policy of giving you 5€ food/drink credit each day for not bothering housekeeping. We had an issue with check-in (our problem, not theirs) but staff member Inês was incredibly helpful and accommodating in finding us a more suitable room at an ungodly hour. Thank you!

Tiago at the front desk was helpful and very caring. He also provided great insight on the city. Pedro at the cafe was also amazing and provided good feedback on food and wine choices. They didn’t get 5 stars because there was one front desk lady in the evening that was rude and not helpful. She wasn’t wearing a name tag so I can’t call her out.

Easy access to the old town (about 20-30 minutes walk away). A metro station which runs to the old town or the airport is less than a ten minute walk away. Breakfasts were good but the same everyday. Rooms were comfortable, the frosted glass showers and toilets were a little odd but we got used to it. Overall pleasant stay in a nice and comfy hotel whilst we saw the city

The location of the Yotel Hotel is convenient for a quick access to the city centre and the Metro nearby. However, the cobbled streets around create a constant noise from the ongoing traffic. This means that one can admire the view from the hotel rooms through the glass of closed windows.

Room super small. LED lights only in color... could not figure out how to get normal light. Ultra modern hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Parking good, a little pricy. We did early check in, pricy but worth it as we were exhausted at 9:30 am after leaving airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel, conveniently located in the heart of the city. Easy walking access to all the major attractions. Hotel was well maintained, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good with lots of options. It also had a nice gym. Rooms were a good size and I love the rain shower. My only complaint was the multi-colored lighting in the room. It was a distraction and not bright enough to see well in room at night. Overall a nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again.
