First one they checked us into, sheets had such a nasty stains on them. Floors were dirty, and towels were disgusting. Not really a complainer either as I’m willing to deal with some things that are out of human control. However, lack of basic cleanliness is something I can’t. We call the Front Desk. They upgraded us to another room, which is bearable. For a country with a climate like Switzerland carpet is really not the best thing, especially with the cigarette smell throughout the whole hotel. It’s nice to have a rooftop club, but also can be a pain in the ass with how loud and obnoxious the guest and customers are that are coming in and out until 6 AM staff is a little ignorant and I’m from America. We come from ignorance however in this hotel in particular very snobby staff only reason why I booked it is because I’m an average traveler to Dubai and I thought this Dubai based hotel in Switzerland would exceed my expectations. However, instead it made me reconsider ever staying at any property like this outside of Dubai.

Sehr schönes Hotel, bietet alles, was man erwartet, mit kleinen organisatorischen Verbesserungspotentialen. Unser Gepäck kam erst auf Nachfrage und deutlich verspätet ins Zimmer, währenddessen hatte die Poolbar geschlossen. Die Öffnungszeiten der Pools am Morgen sind nicht geeignet für Sportbegeisterte. Ansonsten ist die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke, besonders die Cocktails, auf höchstem Niveau. Auch der Club ist Klasse.

Only reason I’m leaving anything less than 5 stars is because when you book the east wing as they call it, it’s not even in the same building as the main glamorous hotel. You have to walk through an extremely long underground tunnel to a totally opposite hotel. Not convenient if you’re wanting to use the spa or restaurants or bar. The rooms are extremely tiny. No room for suitcases.

Leider war Zimmer nicht so sauber angefangene Wasser Flasche , hat man nicht weggenommen und kein neues . Leider auch nicht sauber Möbel war ziemlich alt. Preis war zu hoch für dieses Hotel leider ist nicht das wert.

Haben ein Zimmer zu dritt gebucht. Das Klappbett war fürchterlich. Bett ist ständig zusammengebrochen. (Hund mit 4 kg, ebenfalls nicht darin ausgehalten). Wir haben also zu dritt im vorhandenen Doppelbett geschlafen. Spa war ok. Sollte nur renoviert werden. Am Whirlpool waren Fließen abgebrochen und große Stücke mit schnittgefahr. Im spa war das personal eher genervt, dass wir da waren und kein Geld dagelassen haben. Das Hotel ist mehr für Gäste, die gerne Party machen und auf Sauberkeit keinen Wert drauflegen. Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Essen kann ich leider nicht im Hotel empfehlen. Dieses Hotel würde ich nicht meh buchen.

The room was nice, but over 4 days we jolle 10+ bearded crayfish, so they have a problem The staff was way over their head, 2 times we got disturbed by room service after they had cleaned the room, they would like to hear if all was ok And then again at 22:30 with picking up a tray that we did not have, guess it was wrong room The bar kept on asking if we came from the restaurant, having an attentionspan like dory from free Nemo No maps of where to find what I tried a lot of different hotels, this one was just a bit off somehow.

The property was in a good location and was a cool looking place. The "East Wing" denomination for the room was deceiving as the building is shaped with an east and west side, but the "East Wing" was a different building altogether. The rooms did not have adequate storage for me to even unpack my suitcase. Wont stay in that building again and may not stay in the hotel again.

Extremely overpriced and overrated. Thought we would be in the hotel among other guests. Instead at check in we were told we would be in their other building. We lugged five suitcases down what seemed like a never ending hallway. It took nearly twenty minutes to get to our room in the other building. The room was the size of a closet, so small we had to check our ski bags… there was barely any room to walk. Anytime we called room service for anything we were told why? Don’t you already have that? The restaurants they pride themselves on within the hotel are reservation only so the convenience of having everything on site doesn’t apply unless thoroughly planned ahead of time. When we checked out, we told their team about our dissatisfaction and were given a small espresso as consolation.

Exceptional stay – outstanding service I had a truly excellent stay at FIVE Zurich Hotel, and I would like to particularly highlight the outstanding service and kindness of the night receptionist, Philippe Simon. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. His calm demeanor, efficiency, and warm attitude made a real difference and immediately made me feel at home, especially after long days. The rooms are impressively spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The quiet atmosphere of the hotel is remarkable, allowing for real rest and relaxation, and the views from the room are simply stunning, offering a perfect balance between nature and the city. Room service was also excellent: fast, discreet, and of very good quality, perfectly matching the hotel’s high standards. The hotel rooms were extremely small, similar to those in an IBIS hotel. We were sent to rooms in a different building, which was located among residential buildings and had actually been a residential building converted into a hotel. On all booking platforms, only the main hotel building is advertised, and nowhere is it mentioned that you might end up staying in a separate building far from the hotel. It was definitely not worth the money we paid.

The staff were amazing, made me feel like a princess taking my bags, getting me a coffee to take away in the morning and driving me to the train station. Couldn’t ask for more. Room was lovely. My only criticism would be having to walk back from the east wing with bags on the last day as it is quite far. Would definitely stay again!!!

I was charged twice and i had to call them more than 10 times to get a refund and i just got a sorry as an apology. The amount was more than 1200 euros. I tried to order in dining but the dining employee who took my order was in Dubai and i was in zurich and never get the order and was charged. The reason was because the person who was supposed to be working in kitchen didnt show up because he was sick!!! 5 star hotel huh? Carpets are full of stains. Das Zimmer war bei Anreise nach 17:00h nicht verfügbar, ich wurde erst vertröstet, dann doch in ein Zimmer geschickt (ich musste gleich los zu einem Abendtermin). The staff here were absolutely incredible and truly went above and beyond to help us. Upon arrival, our Uber driver dropped us at the bottom of the hill because he didn’t have snow tires and refused to drive any further, leaving us with nearly a 10-minute walk in heavy snowfall. My partner was unwell, and we were carrying two large suitcases along with a very heavy snowboard bag, making the situation especially difficult. A young man stopped to help us carry our bags, and we later discovered he worked at the hotel and was on his way to start his shift at the penthouse. This act of kindness set the tone for the rest of our stay. We arrived about 1.5 hours early for check-in, and the hotel staff kindly accommodated us without hesitation, which we greatly appreciated given my partner’s condition. They arranged for a driver to take us and our luggage to the East Wing and even carried our bags up for us. Every staff member we encountered was warm, pleasant, and genuinely helpful — something that feels increasingly rare these days. They truly made us feel cared for throughout our stay. The room in the East Wing was spacious and comfortable, with a short indoor walk to the main building and spa. The only area for improvement would be the room service food, which wasn’t the best. The hotel is very nice however they charged us 450£ as a deposit for a 1 night stay, then charged us for the room + incidentals. After 3 days we still did not get our deposit back. I have emailed and called and no one answers. This is the largest deposit a hotel has ever taken. Absolutely ridiculous to run a business like this. Unacceptable.

Everything is fantastic. It is a little bit far away to the city. Walking less than 10 minutes and taking three stops of train, you are right at the center of the city. Highly recommended.

El hotel está muy lindo y la decoración es asombrosa, encontré a 2 hispanas que trabajan ahí y nos trataron muy bien, el personal del hotel en general fue súper amable. El restaurant muy rico tanto el asiático como el de desayuno. Lo único q puedo decir que no me gustó fue la zona donde está el hotel no es tan bonita y está algo lejos del centro. Y la habitación se me hizo muy pequeña.

Not much within walking distance. Some staff were great. Some so so. East Wing is a very long walk to pool and restaurants. Very good value though and would stay again. Pool is very nice. Gym not so much. Serious weight lifters will be very disappointed. Breakfast buffet crazy expensive. Overall facility is very clean, modern, well maintained.

First off, let me start by saying this is a beautiful hotel; the staff were very nice & accommodating; we were upgraded to a suite on arrival. The food was very good; with several options. My biggest issue was the hotel wasn’t convenient to anything and you have to take a taxi/uber every where you go; unless you want to walk several miles each way. I inquired about shuttle service (to airport, and to an event we were going to) and was immediately told “you’ll have to get a taxi.” I have no issues with getting a taxi-uber, but it’s 20-40 CHF every time/both ways when you get one & adds up quickly. (Of note, you can also take train/trolly - if you know how to use them, but this was our first trip to Zurich and we wasn’t sure how it worked.) For these reasons, we will stay somewhere more centrally located next trip. But, if you want a quiet hotel, away from hustle of town -then this would be a great hotel!

Das Hotel ist einfach traumhaft und man fühlt sich rundum wohl und gut versorgt. Durch die zahlreichen Restaurants kann man auch bei mehrtägigen Aufenthalten kulinarische Abwechslung genießen. Das Hotel ist sehr neu und hat einen Dubai flair. Wer das mag, fühlt sich dort sehr wohl. Die Preise sind jedoch unverschämt! Room Service ultra teuer. Wie haben uns entschieden, in der Stadt zu essen. Das Zimmer ist schön gross und das Bett mega bequem. Im Spa wurde im Jacuzzi Chips gegessen und aus Glas getrunken.. Finde ich nicht ganz okay... Für 300-400 Franken pro Nacht würde ich dort bestimmt nicht mehr hin gehen und eher das B2 empfehlen.

Too may things went wrong to list, plus it was funny to watch the reaction of other guests with the same issues. It looks amazing to be fair but , It's definitely overpriced and certainly not a 5 star hotel.

Booked for a room in the secondary tower, not expecting them to offer us a shuttle as it's an entirely different property. Would not recommend.
