Vergeleken met andere van der valk hotels viel dit hotel heel erg tegen. Kamer is verouderd, de bedden zijn niet zo als je verwacht van van der valk. Schoonmaak was gedaan maar het kapotte laken was na schoonmaak nog steeds kapot dus het bed wordt opgedekt maar niet schoongemaakt. Deur dranger was kapot. Geen Nespresso apparaat op de kamer. Restaurant personeel onvriendelijk. Bij de beide huurfietsen waren de lampen kapot. Dit benoemd bij het inleveren en dan krijg je te horen ja je moet ze wel aanzetten. Ja dat snappen we zelf ook wel. De omgeving is wel geweldig en een plus punt het gratis parkeren. Deze van der valk zullen wij niet meer kiezen

Bequeme Betten, sehr sauber, leider Plastikbecher im Bad. Täglich frische Handtücher, das muss nicht sein. Auch die rundum Beleuchtung die ganze Nacht ist nicht wirklich umweltfreundlich. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption. Es fehlt eine Hotelbar.

Our family room had a beautiful view over the woods, we could even see cows. I enjoyed going out for a run or a walk, we were there to visit family in De Bilt but I wouldn't recommend the hotel for people who want to be in a central location or more in town. It's perfect for nature lovers though. Utrecht is very close, a 10-20 minutes bus ride. Good heating in the room and it looked very new. The mattresses were comfortable but moving: and the quality of the bed bases was not the best. The breakfast should be included in the price, especially given that their pool is out of service, the rooms are expensive for the location. The building itself looked cheap (ugly stairs, lift, you feel like in a hostel) the restaurant was cozy and quite classy, with good service. We only had drinks there.

Vi var 3 voksne på påskeferie i egen bil. Vi boede på hotellet 3 dage. Den første dag var fin. Vi kunne nyde et glas vin på terrassen og mad i den ene restaurant. Men dagen efter oplevede vi, at hotellet lukkede af for terrassen, til trods for høj sol. Vores oplevelse var, at hotellet primært er for store selskaber - enten bus-gæster eller firma arrangementer. Den ene restaurant var forbeholdt et selskab og den anden var lukket af med et skilt om at den var reserveret. Vi stod med en følelse, af at komme udenfor sæson og følte os ikke helt så velkomne.

Nicht so gut waren in unserem Zimmer die unsauberen Laken/ Matratzen und die minimal vermackte Einrichtung/ leicht abgenutzte Türschwelle zum Bad. My seat was very good, the staff were exceptional, made me feel welcome and ever so helpful. My only question is why it does not provide information in English for non Dutch speakers. It was not so easy to navigate or use service available. That said the hotel was excellent.

Our compliments on the atmosphere and great food in the restaurant, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and the fact that even travellers with dietary requirements are offered a wide and varied breakfast.

The hotel is far away from everything. If you stay here then you have to eat all meals here. Taxi 35-40 euro each trip to the city Center. At the end it costed me a lot more than the nicer hotel in the Center. Our heater was broken and we suffered a freezing cold night that made us all having a cold the next day. They changed us to another room after we complained as 4 nights without heat would be impossible, but we think that the manager should offer a drink or something to make a nice gesture . A part from that the staff were nice though.

The hotel is far away from everything. If you stay here then you have to eat all meals here. Taxi 35-40 euro each trip to the city Center. We have stayed at the hotel 3 times now, twice with our dog and once with our baby. It's a great location close to the motorway, quiet, relaxing and for our dog it was a short drive to a nice park. Will be staying there again in the future.

Our family room had a beautiful view over the woods, we could even see cows. I enjoyed going out for a run or a walk, we were there to visit family in De Bilt but I wouldn't recommend the hotel for people who want to be in a central location or more in town. It's perfect for nature lovers though. Utrecht is very close, a 10-20 minutes bus ride. Good heating in the room and it looked very new. The mattresses were comfortable but moving: and the quality of the bed bases was not the best. The breakfast should be included in the price, especially given that their pool is out of service, the rooms are expensive for the location. The building itself looked cheap (ugly stairs, lift, you feel like in a hostel) the restaurant was cozy and quite classy, with good service. We only had drinks there.

The hotel is far away from everything. If you stay here then you have to eat all meals here. Taxi 35-40 euro each trip to the city Center. Gefallen hat uns die kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit, der freundliche Hotelempfang und die ruhige aber dennoch gut angebundene Lage des Hotels. Nicht so gut waren in unserem Zimmer die unsauberen Laken/ Matratzen und die minimal vermackte Einrichtung/ leicht abgenutzte Türschwelle zum Bad. Das Empfangspersonal war jedoch sehr offen für Kritik und gelobte Besserung. Insgesamt würden wir zwar wieder kommen, sind aber etwas enttäuscht von den Betten.

Vi var 3 voksne på påskeferie i egen bil. Vi boede på hotellet 3 dage. Den første dag var fin. Vi kunne nyde et glas vin på terrassen og mad i den ene restaurant. Men dagen efter oplevede vi, at hotellet lukkede af for terrassen, til trods for høj sol. Vores oplevelse var, at hotellet primært er for store selskaber - enten bus-gæster eller firma arrangementer. Den ene restaurant var forbeholdt et selskab og den anden var lukket af med et skilt om at den var reserveret. Vi stod med en følelse, af at komme udenfor sæson og følte os ikke helt så velkomne.

Very convenient location. Rooms were comfortable and well supplied. Excellent breakfast the best I've experienced on this entire trip which included three hotels in France. The dining room could use a bit of a broader menu and the staff should understand how to make cocktails particularly a martini
