Beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff and a most safe and convenient location. Communication with the hotel prior to my stay there to arrange airport pick up upon arrival in Rome and transfer to the port of Civitavecchia upon check out was prompt and reliable. Breakfast provided by the hotel was the most amazing and delicious hotel provided breakfast that myself and my fellow travelers have ever experienced. Hotel has a warm, old-world charm and feel with clean and comfortable rooms and I cannot wait to stay here again should I have the pleasure to visit Rome once again. Truly LOVED this hotel and cannot recommend it any more highly! *****

It was centrally located and easy to walk to the pantheon to the Piazza Verona. To great restaurants, very centrally, located and easy to get around just by walking. The food was great. The drink drinks and the bar were great and the breakfast especially was great lots and lots of choices would highly recommend the hotel.

Excellent service and reservation assistance from the staff. From the moment we checked in we were greeted with exceptional service. Dining reservations were made so easy and they called us a taxi to the door. Bar service was excellent and breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful hotel in great location to walk everywhere! Especially Patrick went out of his way so helpful to get us tickets to Easter service at the Vatican to get the last blessing from the pope. Thank you forever Patrick and all the wonderful staff at the beautiful hotel

The service at the front desk is impeccable. They were very helpful with directions, suggestions and assisting us in getting taxis. There is a very nice bar in the hotel as well that was great to grab a drink and relax at the end of the day of walking and sightseeing. Also, very centrally located in the city. Highly recommend this hotel if you're going to Rome.

Great location for walking to many key points of interest in Rome. Very good breakfast buffet included. Good size clean & comfortable rooms with nice sized bathrooms. Helpful staff at the front desk, breakfast area & with baggage handling. Comfortable lounge & bar area. Easy bag drop ahead of check-in. Busy area and close to government buildings which gave enhanced security.

I travel a lot for work as you can see, because I use Hotels.com a lot. I found a roach in my bathroom in the morning. I told the receptionist in the morning, when I went back in the afternoon I found the roach in my bathroom. I called the evening receptionist and they were really nice a took the roach out of my room. Room 127. I booked a junior suite for the last day, but that night they put me in the new room 110. Overall I do not recommend this hotel. I took and sent pictures to the reception. I do not want to trash them, because they did do something, but they should take care of certain rooms. better! I saw the difference between the regular room and the junior suite, radical!

We had a room for 3 people, our son is 13 and was very comfy on the sofa bed. Room super clean, equipped with lots of extras which was nice. Room was soundproof so great overnight. Excellent location- within 5-10 mins walk of all the main sights. Such lovely staff, really welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

They did not change the sheets from the previous guest and there were literal poop stains on the sheets. When we told the staff they did not seem to care much and we never got a apology. Horrible experience.

This feels more like a motel than a 4 stars hotel. Only the location is good. Everything else needs an overhaul. The whole bathroom needs a damn renovation because it looks disgusting and smells even worse. Molds, cracked floor, broken sink, ancient toilet, to name a few problems. They are also stingy with the towels. I had to ask for more towels everyday cuz they didn’t leave enough in the room. Breakfast buffet was okay, lots of options but quite mediocre. The breads didn’t taste good. The containers for some of food were broken and they didn’t bother to fix them. So many problems I can’t name them all. I like the location but will probably look for another hotel the next time I visit Rome.

Top Lage mitten in der römischen Altstadt. Sehr ruhig wegen der Lage direkt neben dem Abgeordnetenhaus. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in 5 bis 30 Minuten erreichbar. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer in den oberen Stockwerken sind moderner als die in den unteren, gut und großzügig sind sie alle.

Had a great experience at this hotel. We were able to check in early and they upgraded our room. We had a junior suite and it was excellent. A ton of room and our view was of the piazza outside with sunshine bursting our room. We could open our windows wide open for fresh air. Beds were very comfortable with great linens and the bathroom was large and spacious. Loved the location - we walked everywhere to all main tourists sites.

it was a Good Hotel but would have been nice if we were able to turn on the A C. Was told that due to government regulations they can not turn on the AC unit until May 1st , had to leave the windows open and it was noisy and hard to sleep

The hotel is in walking distance of many sights in Rome. Near Trevi fountain. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was updated and very comfortable. We could open a window and look out on the piazza. The breakfast is wonderful. Excellent breads and pastries along with great coffee choices. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place you can walk to see much of Rome.

A pesar de encontrarse 3 personas del hotel en recepción, no hubo una que se ofreciera a ayudar para que pudiera mover mi equipaje del elevador a la recepción o al taxi. Nada atentos en recepción. Solamente una persona administrativa que vio que no podía cargarlas al taxi salió a apoyarme. Esto no representa un hotel de la categoría que indican.

Roberta at the front desk was so helpful with recommendations and directions. Great location for walking to Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. Our door lock was some what loose and if pushed hard enough would open, but otherwsise the room was wonderful. Our room looked right onto the square.

We were blown away with how incredibly kind and helpful the front desk was. We arrived early and left our bags securely with them. We we arrived a few hours later for check in, our bags were waiting for us in our room. The breakfast was incredible. There were so many choices of sweets and savory items. The coffee was wonderful. The ambiance was so inviting with a beautiful breakfast room and real plates, cups and utensils. They called countless taxis for us which were always there in minutes. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful hotel.
We were blown away with how incredibly kind and helpful the front desk was. We arrived early and left our bags securely with them. We we arrived a few hours later for check in, our bags were waiting for us in our room. The breakfast was incredible. There were so many choices of sweets and savory items. The coffee was wonderful. Great experience from top to bottom. Patrick helped make our stay enjoyable and worked hard to accommodate us with transportation. I would suggest Hotel Nazionale for its convenient location as well as friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast too!

My career takes me all around the world reviewing hotels and staff. On day one, the front day staff was a very pleasant gentleman, who took the time to explain the layout and surrounding attractions. I have stayed at multiple hotels in Rome and this hotel front desk staff needs training, which I will layout in my upcoming blog. I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I ever patronize them again.

The hotel and location were perfect. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was updated and felt good. We enjoyed the daily room service for breakfast. We felt safe here. The front desk was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. They gave great advice on navigating the city and helping us coordinate transportation to the port for us to leave on our cruise. We will definitely stay here again when in Rome.

Beautiful hotel, was conveniently located near all the major attractions. Good restaurants near hotel, very well maintained rooms, free morning breakfast was very good. Happy with our stay, only negative was trying to get Ubers to pick us up directly at the hotel.

Das Hotel war in jeder Hinsicht sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da sich das Hotel direkt neben dem Parlament befindet wird der Platz rund um die Uhr bewacht und ist zudem extrem ruhig. Im Zentrum von Rom ist dies so kazm zu bekommen. Auch das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Das Hotel befindet sich im historischen Zentrum und es ist alles sehr gutvzu Fuß zu erreichen.

Hotel is in a great location . Walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon. Lots of food options, from bars, cafes, restaurants and shopping. Very safe area, we highly recommend and would definitely use this hotel again.

Lovely, large room with a view overlooking Piazza Montecitorio, which features one of the 13 obelisks of Rome. The government building (designed by Bernini) overlooking the square meant there was a police presence and also that evenings were quiet, which made for a good night's rest. Although the square was quiet itself, the location was excellent, a very easy stroll to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and lots of reataurants and shops. The perfect location for a quiet and peaceful stay while still being in the middle of it all.

The location in the city centre is excellent for shops, restaurants and walkability. Because of it's location in the square housing the parliament building, you cannot access the hotel easily via a taxi or other transportation. We had to roll our suitcases on cobblestone for quite a way. During our stay there was also a very noisy protest in front of the government building which went on every day all day. The breakfast was great, air conditioning works well and the rooms were comfortable. However, we booked 3 rooms, 2 of which were the same class (Deluxe Double), and one was much more spacious and nicer than the other. All were on the 1st floor and given the prices we paid and many months advanced booking under my VIP status, I expected more in terms of a higher floor and more consistent rooms.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The location is great - just a short walk to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and a manageable walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The included breakfast is outstanding and puts American hotels to shame. I would stay here again without question.

Absolutely loved my hotel! The staff were great, very helpful with directions, taxis, and suggestions on food. The hotel is right next to parliament, so very very safe with all the police near by. The breakfast was superb with many main staples like eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt and traditional European style like meats, cheeses, and croissant style breads. The room was very classy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved my stay and the best part was the price was right! Thank you again Hotel Nazionale!!!
