Séjour globalement agréable dans un établissement bien situé, avec une chambre spacieuse et confortable. Cependant, la température était assez fraîche, notamment dans la salle de bain et les toilettes, et l’ensemble commence à vieillir légèrement. La piscine et l’espace spa offrent un vrai moment de détente, mais un rafraîchissement serait bienvenu. Le savon y était d’ailleurs souvent vide. Le garage est un atout appréciable, surtout avec les bornes de recharge électrique. En revanche, des travaux en cours ont occasionné quelques désagréments : des planches de bois ont été sciées devant les véhicules, provoquant même une alerte sur le mien. Hôtel idéalement placé dans le centre de Chamonix. La chambre est très bien. La douche aussi. Salle de bain et Wc séparés. Vu que les montagnes (et le parking du coup.) Je recommande le spa. Il y a pas contre de l’affluence. Le parking est payant (20€/jour). Je recommande bon rapport qualité/prix.

This may be the nicest hotel on our trip. Not far (5 blocks) from the train station, and just down the street from the gondola to Mount Blanc. Everything was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was really friendly and accomodating. The pool is not a swimming pool or spa really, but it is still really relaxing and refreshing.

Negatives - it was so noisy during the nights so if you want an early night expect to get disturbed and early morning drilling noises which didn’t help us recover from the flight. Pool was cold, no hot tub just parts of pool had bubbles in floor, sauna not working. Bed small and very firm. Positives the private transfers to the ski resorts upon booking driver was great very friendly. Very good location to town centre. Ski room very handy. Staff welcoming and helpful.

Excellent hotel for the price. friendly and accommodating staff. Central location, good breakfast with good juice and coffee. Easy with parking in the basement (€25 per night) A little worn and outdated. no air conditioning. Generally nice and clean, but the chairs in the breakfast restaurant had crumbs and hair from other guests. This can be better :-)

Location is the best thing about this property: walking distance to the best part of town filled with restaurants and shops. Hotel itself is not a place we would go back to, we had two rooms. One with queen size bed , had a reasonable size bathroom and was OK. The second room had two full size beds: room itself was so small that two people couldn’t pass each other side by side trying to get to bathroom!! Amenities were scarce. Half of the electric sockets were inoperable. Lights were off lowest power, room was quite dark with all lights on. The larger room was constantly cold. The thermostat control kept resetting back to cold temp. Front desk was informed about this on three separate occasions but nothing was done. We were promised free shuttle to some of the ski resorts. We booked ourself only once since we had a car and could drive ourselves to and from mountain of our choice. Even that one time , we waited for an hour past the scheduled time but it was “no show”. We were told that the road was blocked due to snow. It was not true, since we drove the same road ourself with no problem: Overall staff were not very helpful. Language barrier may have been a factor but , we sensed a lack of effort to help us with our problems. Spa amenities such as soap and shampoo bottles were left empty. Hallway carpets were dirty with huge spots on them:

The location is perfect, beautiful town and all the main attractions are walkable. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is ok if you’re just looking for a base… definitely not a 4* by normal standards. Basic and small room with a tiny bathroom. Some broken fixtures in the room , electricity flicked on and off randomly, shower turned very hot randomly. Carpets in the hallways were very dirty and it did smell most of the time.

We liked the comfortable room and the free coffee. Comfortable bed with a nice bedspread. Even though it overlooks a busy street, it was quiet. The view from the balcony was great. The location near Main Street was great, do was the option of a private parking. The lights on the bathroom would be better if they were brighter. WIFI was a little slow.

Great hotel! Just down the street from the Aquille. Easy walking to the town center for tons of shopping and dining options. About a 10 minute walk from the train station. We had a junior suite which was quite spacious with a balcony. I would highly recommend!

Fantastiskt hotell med otrolig personal. Ligger perfekt i Chamonix. Det enda som drar ned betyget är att Wifi är för dåligt. Jag befann mig i 2001 och inte 2025. Det går knappt att surfa. Se på film är bara att glömma. Utöver det finns inget att anmärka på. Perfekt frukost.

La chambre n’était pas en très bon état les finitions pas soignée, il y avait même un luminaire arraché dans l’entrée et Chambre vraiment petite et de même pour la salle de bain, qui n’est vraiment pas fonctionnel du tout.

Property was in a great location. Walking distance to everything within 10-15 minutes. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. The room was pretty cozy. It was summertime so it was warm. Not much airflow unless you full opened the balcony door. Trade off was it was pretty noisy and bright but that was the only way to cool the room down. The WiFi was basically non-existent. I asked the front desk about it and he said they would have someone look at it. No change. Would stay there again but not during warm months.

Hotel Le Morgane was central so very easy to get everywhere in Chamonix. The staff was wonderful but the rooms were a little worn. Breakfast was good and easy and again the staff was amazing.
Hotel Le Morgane was central so very easy to get everywhere in Chamonix. The staff was wonderful but the rooms were a little worn. Breakfast was good and easy and again the staff was amazing.

We got a room upgrade, to a room with deck and view up the Auigilla du Midi cable run, and glaciers below Mont Blanc. Top points for room and ensuite which was very nice. Seperate WC which was 3 x larger than typical.

Ok stay, nice view. Bed very hard. No AC and with 34 degrees outside it was very warm in the room. People party and making a lot of noise just outside of the hotel during night time, making it hard to sleep when the door had to be open because og no AC. Breakfast okey, good location!

Service great from check in to check out , all staff really helpful and friendly. Shuttle bus service is fantastic and made all the difference to our stay and was one of the main reasons for coming back to this hotel, Jo(driver) was so helpful, great communication, flexibility and so polite .

I had paid for my room prior to arriving. When I arrived they asked me for my credit card. I assumed it was for incidentals or bar purchases but I made sure to ask if the room was shown as paid for, because the person checking me in didn’t say why he needed the card, and they said yes. The next day I noticed they charged my card for another $950. The lady was nice and reversed the charge, but had I not seen/mentioned it I would have been double charged. The paid breakfast was subpar, the eggs smelled like dirty dish water, other than that it was bread and deli meat/cheese laid out, cereal, cold pancakes, etc. Basically what you would expert from a free breakfast at a Motel 6. The room was far more dated than the pictures led on to be. Looks like it hadn’t been renovated since the 90s, at least. Pillows were dollar-store quality. The maid service was loud af (can easily hear them in the halls and through the thin walls) and would show up at 10AM, and if I said I wasn’t ready they would knock again every 10 mins or so. There was also someone doing some kind of construction(?) in the room above me. They were banging around up there, pealing paint down, slamming stuff, for several hours straight. Had to put headphones in to drown out the sound. Oh, and there was hardly any hot water the last day I was there. The hotel is in a great location, accessible to just about anything in town, and the lobby is nice, the staff was friendly. However, if this hotel was located in pretty lid

Our stay was great and I owe it almost entirely to the staff at this hotel. Weeks before we even got there their excellent customer service began. It was our 25th anniversary and we were trying to get a restaurant booking. Many emails went back and forth to make this happen. Upon arrival, the man who checked us in remembered that we had still not resolved it, and asked if he could make the booking for us. They told the restaurant that it was our anniversary which resulted in being recognized with music and sparklers. We had just come off a cruise and needed to do laundry. We went to the laundromat close by and they were closed. When we came back to the hotel, they told us to leave the laundry with them and they would figure out a way to have it done. I’m not sure who did it, but later, someone delivered it to our room washed and folded. Daniela and another young lady (Mathilde?) always went above and beyond to be kind and help us with all our needs. The hotel is perfectly situated. We had beautiful views of Mont Blanc. It is within a block of many restaurants. The city center is just a 5 min walk away; train station is less than 10 min. The Flixbus stop was also very close. Aiguille du Midi gondola was less than a 5 min walk. Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh bread and pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurts, juices, espresso drinks, etc. The pool was pretty and my husband loved the steam room. If we go back, we would stay here again!

My cousin and I visited Chamonix for the first time. We skied at Brevant and Flagere. We had an amazing time, the staff was superb. I wish I could remember names but there were too many to list, although Victor who drove the shuttle was wonderful. He drove us to the lifts and was always there right on time to pick us up. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. The ski shop delivered our rental skis to our locker, the food in the restaurant was delicious, the bar was charming. I regret that we didn't have time for a massage but we used the pool and sauna. Our expectations were exceeded time and again. We have so many different places we'd like to ski but we actually talked about returning to Chamonix because it was so wonderful. Thank you to everyone at the Le Morgane.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The staff went above and beyond to help us with our luggage pick up to be moved to our next location on the TMB. The company that was supposed to pick up our luggage didn’t and without the helpful diligence of the hotel staff we may not have got our luggage for a few days later. As it was the luggage moving was about 4 hours late. Big kudos to the hotel staff for going the extra mile to see that our luggage made it to us.

Nous avons passés 2x nuits dans cet hôtel. Cet hôtel est très bien situé à 3min pied de la rue principale de Chamonix et à 2 min à pied du téléférique du Midi. Le séjour était agréable et j'aimerais partager quelques remarques: 1. La réception de l'hôtel est très belle ce qui contraste un peu avec les chambres qui mérite un rafraichissement pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Je crois savoir que des travaux de rafraichissement seront en cours en 2024, à voir après ces travaux. 2. Le coin Sauna/ Hammam est bien. La piscine chauffée était cependant très fraiche et avec de la faïence qui se décolle. 3. Le petit déjeuné à 19euros est (trop) correct et mérite un plus haut standing pour ce prix. J'ai d'autant plus été surpris par l'omelette payante en extra (6euros) qui selon moi, devrait être inclus dans ce prix non négligeable.

Excellent service from ALL the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Nice rooms, the dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Centrally located next to the river, you can easily walk all of Chamonix from there. We will be back! Thank you again!

The front desk staff were so amazing. Super friendly and accommodating. I am a lifetime platinum at marriott so i normally only stay at marriott. Chamonix didnt have a marriott so stayed here. The front desk staff were so amazing. Super friendly and accommodating. I am a lifetime platinum at marriott so i normally only stay at marriott. Chamonix didnt have a marriott so stayed here.
