The hotel was on the third floor so quite a lot of stairs to climb. The unit was spacious but very outdated. Location was great but quite noisy at night with all the restaurants and night life.

The place is very old. They try to keep it clean but it is not very nice. The toilets are very hard to flush. The staff is friendly but they are never around. You have to have WhatsApp or you can’t get a hold of anyone. BE PREPARED TO WALK UP SEVERAL FLIGHTS IF STAIRS.

Lovely apartment in great neighborhood, close to restaurants, Gelaterias, and only a block from Piazza Navona. We used the kitchen to make a few meals and had everything we needed.

The property is very close to Plaza Navona - only a half block away. This made it great for dining and shopping options as well as just sitting and enjoying the Plaza. The staff replies promptly to your questions (via email). Diana, the person who checked us in, was very helpful and made sure to be at the property when we were ready to check in. Since the building is old, there is no elevator and the rooms are on the third floor, so we had to carry our luggage several flights of stairs. Also, every time we used the sink, toilet, or tub, the pipes made noises when on.

A/C didn’t work on a hot day in Rome. Keys to the apartment did not open. Place was not clean. Shower was going hot and cold and uneven flow. No customer support or service at any time. Stairs were steep and there is no elevator. For the price they charge it is not an accommodation I would recommend.

The property’s location is very convenient when you consider the walkability to magnificent sights around Rome. All the communication prior to check-in was done via WhatsApp, which is fine. I was prepared for the “limited“ front office management, and the fact that there was no lift. What I wasn’t prepared for was Porter available and having to climb three slices stairs with luggage. Anyone familiar with the area at the Piazza Navona knows that the buildings are ancient, that’s why we go, but so are the stairs. Prepare for the incline. The attendant that was there to meet us was pleasant and make sure that we had the keys the code to get in and out of the front entrance-Which I must add the front entrance to the building is on the side and it is dingy dark and dirty. The room was a good size, Quite charming with a mini bar, small bathroom with shower, and a bidet integrated into the toilet. The minibar fridge contained water, when there is a coffee iced tea maker, Box, juice, and waiver type cookies, which we were told would be refreshed every day-they were thank to Irinna (Housekeeping)! She actually took care of our needs the most because we saw her more than anyone else in the staff. The air conditioning worked but could not be set below 18°C. That was not a problem for us, but it might be for some. All in all, I would say that the accommodations were serviceable for our needs. Definitely not a four star but possibly a 2 1/2 to 3. I saw front desk staff twice briefly.

Stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 children age 13 and 10. check in was by appointment which was easy to arrange. Perfect location for exploring. Mini fridge restocked daily free of charge. Air con in room. Clean and tidy. Just be aware theres no lift and its on the 3rd floor. We would stay here again.

Appreciated the service and the attention from staff. The property was an apartment with two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a bathroom, at the third floor of a building in the very center of Rome. Coffee, snacks , toiletries were provided. Cleaning was done every day. Extremely close to amenities ( Piazza Navona, Senato, San Luigi dei Francesi, Pantheon and small walk from Ara Pacis Augustae. Surrounded by restaurants… very good value for the money.

We stayed in a quadruple family room with lots of space. Clean, comfortable and excellent location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the stairs, we didn’t realize there was no elevator when we booked but the staff helped us carry our bags.

The hallway and stairs were so dirty. Dingy entrance. No elevator which I get since the building is old but no one to help bring the luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Shower door and ceiling had mold. The good was rooms were clean, they stocked the refrigerator with water, another other drinks and snacks each day, clean towels and made bed daily. Nice little kitchen setup.

La atención del personal fue buena y la ubicación es sin duda excelente. Sí hay ruido, pero es comprensible considerando que se trata de una zona con muchos restaurantes Ahora bien, una cosa es el estilo “vintage” y otra muy distinta es lo viejo y descuidado. El lugar no se parece en nada a las fotos publicadas. El baño está muy deteriorado: la puerta de la regadera no cierra, lo que hace que se moje todo el baño; la presión del agua es muy baja y la regadera se mueve constantemente. La cocina está en muy mal estado, con varios muebles rotos. Las paredes de las habitaciones están manchadas y descuidadas, el mobiliario está dañado, con puertas rotas y acabados mal mantenidos. Aunque tiene cocina, no me dio confianza usarla, y bañarse fue un martirio. Un detalle muy grave fue que un día otro huésped abrió por accidente la puerta de mi habitación. Yo la había dejado completamente cerrada, y escuché que alguien intentaba abrir desde fuera. En cuestión de segundos, la perilla giró y la puerta se abrió, ya que el huésped tenía una llave que también funcionó para mi habitación. Fue muy incómodo y preocupante. Las sábanas y toallas olían fuertemente a vinagre; entiendo que es por higiene, pero resultaba muy desagradable. Solo hay un aire acondicionado, que no enfría lo suficiente para el tamaño del lugar. Lamentablemente, no volvería a quedarme aquí. Agradezco la atención recibida, pero sería ideal que que invirtieran en mejorar el estado general del alojamiento

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights during a long weekend in Rome in June 2024, and we liked it very much. The room was clean and comfortable, and it is perfectly situated a few steps from Piazza Navona. I will definitely recommend it. A few things to note: 1) make sure that you have the precise address as it is not so easy to find. In fact, from the street level it is not obvious that there is a hotel on the second floor (third floor if you want to be American about it); 2) there is no elevator so you have to climb the stairs; 3) it is an apartment type hotel, so the reception is not manned 24/7 (staff can be contacted via WhatsApp).

PROS: 1. Staff extremely responsive and helpful (A ). 2. Location A - easy to walk everywhere. 3. Water pressure/temp consistency in shower was best we had during two weeks in Italy. 4. Storage in bathroom was set up very well for family of 4. 5. Restocked water daily. CONS: 1. AC was non-existent (we are used to different standard in Europe vs US, but even by European standards it was poor). Staff brought us fans, but it was not the same as AC. We selected room in part due to this amenity. This had a big effect on how well we rested during this portion of our vacation. 2. Bathroom had mold on ceiling. The location was excellent. Walking distance to main sites and lots of restaurants and shops right there! The building was very old as expected, the room itself was good size (we got the 2 room apartment) for our family of 4 and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The bathroom was small specially the shower. It had some mold and painting coming off. It could be better maintained. We didn’t really use the kitchen for cooking but it would be nice to have a coffee machine with pods to make it easier. Staff was really nice although it would be more convenient not to have to book an appointment for check-in as plans change all the time and this adds one more thing to worry about. The place has potential if there are plans for some upgrades to the rooms.

Location is very good with a lot of restaurant close and easy to find. the AC was the best one we had on a whole 2 and half week trip around Italy. Rosa was lovely and very helpful and everyday the mini bar was restocked with free drinks and snacks! It does not bother us but just be aware that it is in a touristy area so at night is a little loud.

The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and the staff is lovely and very accommodating. The area is relatively quiet during the day but totally livens up in the evenings. Location is fantastic. Definitely would recommend Only caveat is there is no elevator if you have any mobility issues.

Room was clean enough. Air conditioning hardly worked at all, and there was no a/c in hallway to bathroom or the bathroom itself. The door to the bathroom hallway would not close, so we couldn't even effectively keep the air in our sleeping space. Bathroom door was broken.

The room was spacious and clean, but it was a chore getting luggage up the two long staircases. The windows, while large, opened onto an air shaft. The remote for the air conditioning was temperamental. No real reception area. One person a few hours each day. It was a nice room, but not worth the high price.

Navona Tower is a very old property from 1880, charming place. Comfortable bed and nice room for Rome. Lia is amazing, friendly and very helpful. Restaurant downstairs has great pizza.

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights during a long weekend in Rome in June 2024, and we liked it very much. The room was clean and comfortable, and it is perfectly situated a few steps from Piazza Navona. I will definitely recommend it. A few things to note: 1) make sure that you have the precise address as it is not so easy to find. In fact, from the street level it is not obvious that there is a hotel on the second floor (third floor if you want to be American about it); 2) there is no elevator so you have to climb the stairs; 3) it is an apartment type hotel, so the reception is not manned 24/7 (staff can be contacted via WhatsApp).

The property is very close to Plaza Navona - only a half block away. This made it great for dining and shopping options as well as just sitting and enjoying the Plaza. The staff replies promptly to your questions (via email). Diana, the person who checked us in, was very helpful and made sure to be at the property when we were ready to check in. Since the building is old, there is no elevator and the rooms are on the third floor, so we had to carry our luggage several flights of stairs. Also, every time we used the sink, toilet, or tub, the pipes made noises when on.

A/C didn’t work on a hot day in Rome. Keys to the apartment did not open. Place was not clean. Shower was going hot and cold and uneven flow. No customer support or service at any time. Stairs were steep and there is no elevator. For the price they charge it is not an accommodation I would recommend.

The property’s location is very convenient when you consider the walkability to magnificent sights around Rome. All the communication prior to check-in was done via WhatsApp, which is fine. I was prepared for the “limited“ front office management, and the fact that there was no lift. What I wasn’t prepared for was Porter available and having to climb three slices stairs with luggage. Anyone familiar with the area at the Piazza Navona knows that the buildings are ancient, that’s why we go, but so are the stairs. Prepare for the incline. The attendant that was there to meet us was pleasant and make sure that we had the keys the code to get in and out of the front entrance-Which I must add the front entrance to the building is on the side and it is dingy dark and dirty. The room was a good size, Quite charming with a mini bar, small bathroom with shower, and a bidet integrated into the toilet. The minibar fridge contained water, when there is a coffee iced tea maker, Box, juice, and waiver type cookies, which we were told would be refreshed every day-they were thank to Irinna (Housekeeping)! She actually took care of our needs the most because we saw her more than anyone else in the staff. The air conditioning worked but could not be set below 18°C. That was not a problem for us, but it might be for some. All in all, I would say that the accommodations were serviceable for our needs. Definitely not a four star but possibly a 2 1/2 to 3. I saw front desk staff twice briefly.

Stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 children age 13 and 10. check in was by appointment which was easy to arrange. Perfect location for exploring. Mini fridge restocked daily free of charge. Air con in room. Clean and tidy. Just be aware theres no lift and its on the 3rd floor. We would stay here again.

The room was amazing and sweet; perfect for our family of 4 (with 2 teen boys!) and right above an active street with a few fun restaurants and gelato! Bonus - it was only a block away from piazza Navona and a short walk to so many other beautiful locations! The highlight for our family though, was David! He is an incredible asset to your team and was wonderfully kind and helpful with our check-in and getting settled. Marco made our stay in the historical Navona Tower Relais an experience to remember. He answered every question and printed out our boarding passes at home and brought them to us at the hotel on his day off, set up car service to and from the hotel, recommended awesome places to eat, and sites to see. He made our stay very memorable. We stayed in the Michelangelo room that was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The ladies who took care of our room each day were great and did a wonderful job. In short, the staff were amazing, the location couldn’t be any better, and when I’m in Rome again we will be staying at the Navona Tower Relais.

Location is very good with a lot of restaurant close and easy to find. the AC was the best one we had on a whole 2 and half week trip around Italy. Rosa was lovely and very helpful and everyday the mini bar was restocked with free drinks and snacks! It does not bother us but just be aware that it is in a touristy area so at night is a little loud.

Location of this little boutique hotel is fabulous a few steps from Piazza Navona. The room was so cute and the little outdoor patio was fabulous. There are a good bit of steps but they were helpful getting our luggage upstairs. The bathroom is tiny but nice. If you are tall or very large, the shower would be a challenge. Loved staying here!

The two bedroom room/apartment was great for our family of four. Plenty of dining and shopping located nearby, as well as nightlife. We chose to be in the heart of Rome for our first visit…Navona Tower Relais was perfectly situated. Our only complaint was having to climb stairs to the third floor…that was a challenge. Older building and many stairs to climb…not like a traditional hotel. Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and conveniently located. If you aren’t going up and down stairs a lot to get to your room, you’ll truly love this place.

Nice room, good for families. Downsides are it is far from bus and metro stops, and lots of stairs (no elevators). However, close to lots of restaurants and safe location. Can walk everywhere. Staff were super friendly and helpful, easy check in.

Aunque el lugar es muy bueno en ubicación y no se escucha nada de ruido. Es terrible que no haya elevador. Cargar las maletas por escaleras uno mismo es muy pesado. Son solo 5 habitaciones. No cuenta con restaurante aunque saliendo hay muchísimas opciones. Está a media cuadra de plaza Navona. La regadera es muy pequeña.

The hallway and stairs were so dirty. Dingy entrance. No elevator which I get since the building is old but no one to help bring the luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Shower door and ceiling had mold. The good was rooms were clean, they stocked the refrigerator with water, another other drinks and snacks each day, clean towels and made bed daily. Nice little kitchen setup.

Appreciated the service and the attention from staff. The property was an apartment with two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a bathroom, at the third floor of a building in the very center of Rome. Coffee, snacks , toiletries were provided. Cleaning was done every day. Extremely close to amenities ( Piazza Navona, Senato, San Luigi dei Francesi, Pantheon and small walk from Ara Pacis Augustae. Surrounded by restaurants… very good value for the money.

We had 2 family apartments for our family of 5. There is no lift and the stairs were a bit challenging for my in-laws, but the staff helped us carry their bags up to their home. Would recommend staying here for the location alone. It was within walking distance to so many restaurants, trevi fountain, pantheon and Vatican City.
We had 2 family apartments for our family of 5. There is no lift and the stairs were a bit challenging for my in-laws, but the staff helped us carry their bags up to their home. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. We were able to book transportation from the airport to the hotel, and they were able to take us to the Civitavecchia port as well. Would recommend staying here for the location alone. It was within walking distance to so many restaurants, trevi fountain, pantheon and Vatican City.

First impression upon arrival wasn't a good one. The address given was an old wooden door which was locked. Finally noticed the small call button. We heard the door unlock and walked into an unkept and somewhat dirty foyer. The host came down the stairs and explained the rooms were on the second floor of the old building. And there wasn't an elevator. We had lots of really heavy bags and wasn't thrilled with the idea of lugging them up all those stairs. I wasn't very happy at that point. However, the host helped carry the luggage up all those stairs and, when we finally got to the room, our impression was immediately changed. We found a very charming and spacious room pleasantly decorated with all the amenities. The location is central to all the popular tourist spots with plenty of restaurants and gelato shops right outside the door. I'll definitely stay here again.... but with less luggage.
