We have a party of 4 2 adults and 2 adult children staying the room was pretty spacious. You will for sure need two rooms.Kind of an older look could use some remodeling but other than that the service was excellent great location. There’s an elevator that was very easy to use. We mostly use the steps we run the third floor so we got a bit of a workout but not a big deal. We did take the transfer private transfer service from the hotel which was €126 to fit in their shuttle bus but next time I would actually take the taxi that would accommodate for adults with five bags for about 55-year-olds but they’re private transfers they were waiting for us at the airport with our name so that was very helpful. Took about 45 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. Check-in was 2 o’clock. They were able to keep our bags for a few hours while we went sightseeing until the check-in was available. I would definitely come back and stay again. Thank you.

I have to say the room was clean everyday! It’s an old hotel but in my case I just went there to sleep and shower after long days on tour trips. I never got to try the breakfast they usually start breakfast at 7am and at that time I was already on the tours. Otherwise the staff is helpful and y have a refrigerator and air conditioner I. The room The only con is that they don’t have a place to hold your luggage. So if y. Need a late check out it won’t happen y. Need to carry with your luggage until is time to check in or check out

Where to begin, as with most of the poor reviews, the front desk attendant was not polite or nice. The room was ok, small bathroom. Not the cleanest, toenails were found on the night stand. The bed was extremely hard, noises can be heard easily from outside the window and in the hallway. Parking was non-existent on the street. Parking in the garage was only available with valet, but was pricey (30 euros a night). The elevator was very small and very very old. Breakfast is not worth any cost over 4 euros. Extremely limited options. Coffee machines were finicky, sometimes it gave you coffee sometimes only milk. The good is it’s close to bus stops to the touristy sites and walking distance to some. Plenty of food options close. In the end I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel pictures are NOT representative of the hotel. They must have been taken well over a decade ago. The one sofa in the lobby is so old that you sink into it and must struggle to get up again. The courtyard and the rest of the hotel is actually dirty -- dust everywhere, particularly on the elevator. Most of the staff were quite nice, but there were a couple who made us feel like we were a tremendous inconvenience whenever we asked for anything. Breakfast was set out late, and there were fruit flies and gnats everywhere. Our hotel room was dark and dingy. There was mold on the corners in the shower, and there were mosquitos in the room. The toilet would often not flush on the first try, so you had to repeatedly try to flush it again and again. We normally love older, quaint hotels, but this place was a tremendous disappointment. The only saving grace was the air conditioner in the room and the free Netflix. Because of the heatwave, we often retreated to our room to escape the afternoon heat.

Property online looks great. Inside the rooms are very small, bathroom has mold, carpet has never been vacuumed. I paid for a room for 4 people, and the bathroom door doesn't close. You can literally seat in the toilet and wash your hands at the same time. Floor cracks when walking, You can hear the nect door flushing and sneezing. Font pay 10 euros for that breakfast! is terrible.

The room is nicer than the common areas of the hotel. High ceiling, 4 good beds and enough space for all the luggages, kind of close to Termini without being on the most busy streets. Bath tub in the room was extra fun for the kids. I recommend this hotel for the price and what you get for it. If they had cleaned more the common areas, lift and the carpet I would give 5 stars based on what you get for the price. I didnt eat breakfast nor sit outside so cant judge that.

Only good thing about this place is truly the location. Otherwise, beds had stains on the sheets, and the bathrooms were the smallest I have seen on our entire europe trip, but we made it work since we were only staying one night. The road noise was also pretty bad. I guess in Rome they really do like to party at all hours of the night. If that bothers you, be warned.

Das Hotel Medici ist keine Luxusunterkunft , aber das haben wir auch nicht gesucht. Wir hatten ein Vierbettzimner in wirklich ausreichender Größe. Die Betten waren bequem. Das Bad war klein , aber sauber und alles vorhanden. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist gut , wir haben alles zu Fuß erreicht. Gefrühstückt haben wir nicht im Hotel , waren immer früh unterwegs , deshalb kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Wir waren zufrieden und sagen Grazie .

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Medici and would stay here again. Very clean, basic and spacious single room. Fabio, one of the front desk staff, was especially friendly and welcoming. The cleaning staff did an excellent job, with regular replenishment of towels etc. Breakfast was ok. The breakfast registration staff could be more friendly and welcoming. The hotel is about 30 minutes' walk from some main attractions e.g. Trevi Fountain and about 15 minutes away from Roma Termini station, so in an ideal location. There are dinner options nearby, but I preferred those more towards the centre of Rome, where there was more choice. The bathroom was showing signs of wear and tear but clean. The built in wardrobe was a bit tired. There was a mini fridge which was helpful, and the air conditioning and shower was very good. There was no iron. My TV's Netflix, Prime and wifi unfortunately did not work, but I didn't watch much TV anyway. Unfortunately the walls seem quite thin, so a couple of nights when there were noisy neighbouring guests/there was noise outside, it was difficult to sleep, but otherwise it was fine. I wasn't a fan of having to leave my key at reception every time I went out (but there was never a big delay to return and pick them back up from reception, it's just the inconvenience which could be avoided). For me, the main improvement the hotel could make would be to include a kettle in the room for hot drinks. Otherwise, thank you HM for a good stay!

Great room for solo travel. Spacious room for one and good size bathroom. My only problem was lack of plugs as I couldn’t use one of the two plugs as there was no space for my converter as I had UK devices. Definitely recommend the room though, nice walk away from the centre or plenty of public transport options nearby which aren’t hard to figure out. People at reception were very friendly and so were the people running breakfast. Will definitely think of this place next time I’m in Rome.

The men who worked the front desk were courteous and helpful. We were allowed to check in a bit early, which was fantastic after traveling for about 12 hours. They also directed us to some excellent gelato and a good, affordable restaurant. They made us feel very welcome.

I want to start off and say that I do not recommend this hotel. The staff at the front desk is SUPER rude and hateful. Stefano especially is very rude and hates to even help. Everytime we spoke to Stefano he rolled his eyes at us and made us feel so unwelcomed. When we checked in the bed sheets has stains and hair on them. The rooms are really hot, small, and have a weird smell. The location was ok it is walkable to the main attractions.

The hotel was ideally located in Rome, walking distance for the 2 of us who are serious walkers. There were buses nearby as well. The staff was excellent. Fabio provided us with information about tours & restaurants & gave us cards for discounts. We also found the best gelato we had on this trip just around the corner from the hotel. I would definitely book there again if I visit Rome again.

Hotel medici, oh what an amazing stay!! All the staff was excelled but more specifically Lorana and Abbas- thank you for being so sweet and lovely! As well as all the other staff, they organised our taxi, cleaned our hotel room very well!! And also kept our luggage after our checkout since our flight was later that day! We are also just a 10-15 min walk from all the sights of rome! What a beautiful stay I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit rome!! There is also a great breakfast and restaurant nearby!

Everything about this property was great for a single traveler who only needed the room to sleep and shower....until last night when i was walking to my room with my friend and was informed he couldn't come upstairs unless i paid for a double room. I need to pay for a visitor who isn't staying the night? I actually thought he was joking because the concept is absurd. I paid for the room already and i'm getting called down like a naughty child who came in after curfew? It was wildly embarrassing. I absolutely will never stay here or anywhere like it ever again. I should have known there was a catch since it was so affordable.

La habitación bien, a pesar de que en el piso estaba en remodelación, en la habitación no se escuchaba ruido, la habitación limpia, la televisión no se veían los canales nacionales, pero se podía iniciar sesión en plataformas de tv streaming (Netflix, Prime, Disney). Hotel cerca de estación de termini, para moverse en tren o bus es muy cómodo, en la zona hay muchos restaurantes, cafés y tiendas, el hotel tiene servicios de desayuno (adicional). En conclusión si es solo para ir a dormir después de una larga faena por Roma es una buena opción.

Stephon was so helpful in getting us taxis and such. I did have to tell them that the hairdryer did not work and neither did the safe in the room. The breakfast was a disappointment. We had had many good breakfast throughout Italy, but that one was not one of our favorites.

Overall stay was good. Bathroom and room were a little bit out dated compared to the pictures online. But overall staff and property were nice. Morning breakfast was adequate, more options would be nice since we have to pay for it. At the end of the day I would stay here again! Thank you!
