We had a fantastic stay at Domus Liberius. The room was extremely clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The location was perfect! You could choose to walk to shops or eat in any direction. There was a taxi stand where there were always taxis you could grab right out front of the property. We felt extremely safe as well. You have to have a code to get in the front door, the gate inside, and then into your room. The area surrounding the property was also very nice. Great place to stay!!!!

Het personeel was enorm aardig en goed bereikbaar via WhatsApp, daarnaast was de locatie goed met veel horeca op loopafstand. Het hotel was echter EXTREEM gehorig. We konden hele gesprekken vanuit de kamer naast ons horen, en hadden daarbij ook nog eens de pech dat mensen naast ons ‘s nachts muziek aan zetten, ruzieden, en om 3 uur ‘s nachts een telefoongesprek van een uur gingen voeren (waarvan wij dus elk woord meekregen). Zelf langsgaan en melding maken bij de receptie had geen effect. Belangrijk te vermelden dat er een lift is, maar dat die meerdere keren tijdens ons verblijf niet werkte. De kamer leek geenszins op de foto’s - het was qua staat oké/prima maar zeker niet van het verwachtte niveau. Het hotel werkt met codes, maar die werkten meermaals niet bij de voordeur beneden, waardoor we meerdere keren ‘s avonds laat het personeel hebben moeten bellen. Complimenten voor het personeel dat zij ondanks dit late tijdstip nog bereikbaar waren en dit zo snel konden oplossen.

All in all the place was okay. I didn’t think the staff was very attentive and they are not onsite for most of the day. You have to communicate with them through WhatsApp or other means. When we arrived the elevator was broken so we had to walk up 7 flights of stairs The staff too our luggage on the elevator since they had to manually close the door for it to work. It was the weekend so it was hard for them to find someone to fix it. when we finally reached the 3rd floor we were offered a glass of water from the sink. The location was good but I just wished that the elevator worked. Our place we stayed in Naples the staff was very attentive to our needs.

Good location to walk out and about sightseeing and not far from train station. Hotel has secure access. Has really nice common areas for coffee and microwave or just sitting and relaxing. Room was nice and staff friendly .

Room was well kept, staff answered all questions and requests. The best part however, was the location. Right across the street from St. Mary, Major Basilica. Restaurants, shopping, and the hop on hop off bus stop very close by. Excellent security. If we go back to Rome, this is the place that we will stay!

Nice hotel & great location, clean & good amenities, only drawback is everything works by keycode & nobody works in the hotel from late afternoon, though you can text thrm for assistance, we arrived in the evening & it all seemed a bit confusing, until I found a whatsapp message with codes for the security doors & our room, having said that once you're used to the system it works well.

Hotel from hell! When we arrived it seemed okay but don’t let it fool you. We went to our room which was incredibly small and found the following, blood marks on the ‘clean towels’, black marks on the bedding, scratches and marks all over the walls, ripped chair, broken hair dryer and shelf. The only good thing was the TV size. It was disappointing completely. When we told staff they simply offered us breakfast vouchers and late check out which really doesn’t make up for the dirtiness of the place. This hotel needs to be inspected.

The location is great, room was clean and spacious. I was suprised by additional charge which was a tourist tax of which therewas no communication in any emails and messages from expedia and property owner. The only minus of ghe property was very bad smell from the toilet, whixh eas clean so it might me just old pipe works ( the building wasvery old) . But it was not pleasant. Overall worth the price paid. Thank you

Great location. Convenient/walkable to Roma Termini. Across street from beautiful Santa Maria Church. Walkable to Colosseum, Trevi, Monti neighborhood food/shopping. Signage not the most clear on how to enter hotel from street. Front desk staff 8am-1pm only-- very friendly though when we saw them the following days. Room photos nicer than actual room. Overall the room was nice, albeit there was mold growing on the walls in the bathroom, and the amount of hot water for showering was lacking. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

Fantastic place to stay as it is an easy walk from the train station and then a 15 minute walk to the Roman Forum and all the other great things to see. The room is lovely with amazing high ceilings and lots of room and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. For the money it was excellent value!

The staff was amazing! The room was comfortable. We had to keep the windows open to keep cool and it was loud. The location was exceptional. I would stay there again but in a diffrent room. A very nice room - unusually large and clean with refrigerator. Coffeemaker and electric kettle were located in the sitting area. Good discounted continental breakfast available at nearby cafe. Located on the side of Santa Maria Maggiore and a 10 minute walk to Termini and bus to the airport. As in most of Italy be very careful of professional pick pockets. Be vigilant. They come out of no where in a flash and are gone just as quickly.

Gemütliche Unterkunft in guter Lage. Zimmer waren in einem guten Zustand und sauber. Leider sind die Zimmer zur Hauptstraße sehr laut. Ohne das Fenster geschlossen zu haben, war es kaum möglich, einzuschlafen. Leider ein großer Nachteil, weshalb wir uns für keine weitere Übernachtung entscheiden würden. Auch wenn alles andere drum herum passt. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zugänge mit dem persönlichen Code, welchen man über WhatsApp bekommt, liefen einwandfrei. So gut wie alles ist innerhalb einer Stunde zu Fuß erreichbar. Supermarkt und Busstation direkt neben der Unterkunft. Wäre die Lautstärke nicht so extrem, würden wir jederzeit wiederkommen.

The hotel is very close to the colosseum and was walking distance of a lot of major spots. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and sometimes the toilet wouldnt work that well. I would still recommend this hotel.

We had issues with our airport shuttle to the hotel and they were very responsive with getting back to me as soon as I sent them a message! They worked everything out for us while we were getting through customs and made getting to the hotel a breeze even with the problems we encountered!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Its central location made it easy to explore many of the city’s main monuments and attractions. Highly recommend!

Room was clean and nice. After 1:30 there are no receptionist. You need to enter code to get in big heavy doors in the street. We couldn’t get the door open after putting in the code. Someone came out , then we entered. But.. there was another gate about 12 feet away you had to push open before the first door closed. Then a button to get in building to elevator. Once in our floor there were 2 doors to enter code again . We had a hard time entering code, getting door to open. Code for our room door worked fine. Wouldn’t stay there again because of this .

Het personeel was enorm aardig en goed bereikbaar via WhatsApp, daarnaast was de locatie goed met veel horeca op loopafstand. Het hotel was echter EXTREEM gehorig. We konden hele gesprekken vanuit de kamer naast ons horen, en hadden daarbij ook nog eens de pech dat mensen naast ons ‘s nachts muziek aan zetten, ruzieden, en om 3 uur ‘s nachts een telefoongesprek van een uur gingen voeren (waarvan wij dus elk woord meekregen). Zelf langsgaan en melding maken bij de receptie had geen effect. Belangrijk te vermelden dat er een lift is, maar dat die meerdere keren tijdens ons verblijf niet werkte. De kamer leek geenszins op de foto’s - het was qua staat oké/prima maar zeker niet van het verwachtte niveau. Het hotel werkt met codes, maar die werkten meermaals niet bij de voordeur beneden, waardoor we meerdere keren ‘s avonds laat het personeel hebben moeten bellen. Complimenten voor het personeel dat zij ondanks dit late tijdstip nog bereikbaar waren en dit zo snel konden oplossen.

All in all the place was okay. I didn’t think the staff was very attentive and they are not onsite for most of the day. You have to communicate with them through WhatsApp or other means. When we arrived the elevator was broken so we had to walk up 7 flights of stairs The staff too our luggage on the elevator since they had to manually close the door for it to work. It was the weekend so it was hard for them to find someone to fix it. when we finally reached the 3rd floor we were offered a glass of water from the sink. The location was good but I just wished that the elevator worked. Our place we stayed in Naples the staff was very attentive to our needs.

We recently stayed at Domus Liberius in Rome and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore all the must-see sights in the city. The highlight of our stay was definitely Jasmine—she was an incredible member of the team, so welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond by assisting us with storing our luggage the following day, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel itself is charming, and the service was impeccable. I would have no hesitation in booking with Domus Liberius again when we return to Rome. Highly recommend!

The location of the hotel was perfect, it was walkable to many of the historical sites. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and the staff was amazing especially Jasmine who helped us get back on track, after having a setback in Paris when arriving in Rome.

It was close to a main attraction, Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore. Felt safe in this area, building access was secure. Taxi avail outside building. Room size our Triple was spacious. Front desk limited hours 830-1pm, but early check in was available. Only want to replace towels& sheets every 3 days, can request extra towels, but extra sets could cost you, says B&B, but only provides vouchers you can buy 12 Euro. Staff very friendly and attentive

A very nice room - unusually large and clean with refrigerator. Coffeemaker and electric kettle were located in the sitting area. Good discounted continental breakfast available at nearby cafe. Located on the side of Santa Maria Maggiore and a 10 minute walk to Termini and bus to the airport. As in most of Italy be very careful of professional pick pockets. Be vigilant. They come out of no where in a flash and are gone just as quickly.

One of the key pads was not working but the staff provided another code to get in. The place was clean, just outdated. The furniture was Ikea quality and felt like a dorm room or hostel. The bad thing is toilet was not flushing correctly and it seemed other guests were also having issues. The pictures on the website were much nicer than in person. The good thing about this hotel is that it is located near the train station and you can walk to the coliseum. I would not recommend the breakfast option. It is too pricey for the type of food you get. Just explore other places to eat. Overall, this place is if you want to save some money and you want to be close to the train station.

As we had to pass several locked gates to get in, and the receptionist is only there until 1 pm, it's a bit complicated to check in and get into the room. Also, no meals (included breakfast) are being served, but several coffee shops just outside the hotel. Very friendly staff

We spent a few days in Rome for our anniversary. The hotel was great, we had a contactless check in due to the time we arrived, but everything was explained in detail via whatsapp before our arrival. We found the process so easy. The room was also great, everything was clean and tidy. The reception with the coffee machine was an added bonus and all the staff were so helpful.

We stayed here in June 2024 and this place was perfect for us. It was by the termini, close to tons of shops and restaurants plus walkable to other sight seeing places. The host are fabulous, beds were comfortable, it was very clean, they give you breakfast vouchers for a near by restaurant which is fabulous as well! I will definitely be staying here again.

A well located property to all local tourist sights. Freindly staff on hand in the mornings and complimentary coffee from reception. Rooms were clean although the shower was luke warm. For the price it was a good hotel if your only using it as a base for a few days.

Solid and great stay! You could hear the other guest occassionally but it never disturbed us. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Would come back! Clean, nice and good AC!
