Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Saint Robert

This hotel needs upkeep. Carpets in hallways were very dirty, like they don’t even vacuum! Bad smells as you walk to your room. Room was ok. We found dirty towels in the bathroom behind the door. The sofa was really bad, the seats were extremely ripped up, looked terrible. On a positive note…The front desk people are very friendly and plenty of parking.

There is no pool here. They have two carts, but one is broken, and the other is halfway falling apart, but they help. The laundry facility is $3.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. They have one soda machine. The ice machine is on the 1st floor. Breakfast is nice, but is literally the same thing every single day. The elevator is spacious but is only for 4 people at a time. Smoking is out back whether it’s tobacco or *other*. Vaping is allowed in the front but away from the door. If I needed towels or pillowcases, or anything else, the staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a Walmart, Lowe’s, Chinese buffet all within walking distance. So many other places in close proximity as well. If you’re coming for an ARMY graduation, it’s a nice place to sleep that won’t break the bank. We had the double room and it was plenty spacious; I can’t speak for the smaller rooms.

They accept semi truck at the Parking lot, even with the trailer.

Let me start by saying the staff was pleasant! However the hotel needs improvement on amenities. Our room at first glance looked decent to the eye after further look. The couches are peeling from wear and tear. We selected this hotel because it promoted their kitchenette incase we wanted to whip up a meal for my soldier for her family day. The kitchenette had only one pot and a corroded pan. The towels had stains, but were replaced when we ask for more. This hotel advertises free breakfast. My son and I went down two mornings at 6:40 am and there was little to NO Breakfast. Crockpot eggs, and very little pancake mix. There was a broken juice machine,broken pancake mix dispenser, and a barely working pancake griddle The last few things we noticed is the "business center" has a sign on the printer that states it doesn't work. The "Gym" has a treadmill, a bike, and water cooler. Everyday we had to get new keys to the room because they would stop working ( No they were not near any battery source) Last but not least the elevator is slow, and could use a repair. All in all I would not recommend, it was convenient for us because it was close to base, but would absolutely not recommend

Rooms close to service elevators listen to employees talking. Everything else was great

Very comfortable and clean. Safe parking a plus. Close to great eating places. I would definitely stay again and for a longer period.

Elevator sucked and the carpet could be replaced in hallways it looked dirty

I was in the elevator, and the electric went out in the maid on the floor, told me and my sister and my daughter to walk down the stairs and when we got down the stairs, she was there and she got on the elevator, and I am handicap But was portable

Breakfast was basic. No pool or big sitting area to hang out. 1 elevator that is suuuuper slow. Blow dryer didn't work in one of the bathrooms. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Next to a marijuana dispensary and strip has lots of food options.

Could use a deep cleaning the elevator and hallway had an oder and the bead skirt walls had dirt marks. Otherwise staff was nice and the close parking was a plus.

There was nothing unique about the properly, it was nasty and dirty and smell bad, the free breakfast was limited. Just because is limited it dont have to be nasty, dirty toilets, no toilet paper, dirty kitchen

The bathroom floors a mess looked like no one swept and the bedding looked like some one ran on top like a dog with hair. We had to ask for new bedding and more towels

Visible stains on most of the furniture in the dining area. No tissue or napkins in the common area bathroom. Sheets were not clean in the bedroom. Room was obviously not clean prior to. We had to go to the dollar store and buy bleach and sponges to clean the bathroom myself and ask for clean sheets to make our beds. The bathroom vents had visible thick dust.

The management was very nice, the rooms are spacious, the only thing that was wrong was the cleanliness of the room. I had to wash the floors, because I saw spills from previous guests, the outside of the cabinets were dirty, behind the end tables in the bedroom had trash under and behind them. The room smelled really bad, and the hallway carpets were dirty and in bad shape. The room is NOT sound proof. I heard the upstairs guests were loud, and there was loud hammering in the above room before different guests arrived.

Very average. Not super clean but the room smelled ok and it was affordable for 1 night. Very happy we didn't stay 2 nights. I probably would have looked for a different hotel.

I checked it a little earlier the room wasn’t cleaned. I ask for it to be clean I was told it already was. But there food dropping on the floor. The bathroom wasn’t clean. I finally got a housekeeper to come and clean the bathroom. I was told the toilet was stained. I got a broom and sweep it myself. Had to asked for clean sheets because I knew if the floors was dirty I knew the sheets was. Will not be returning there.

We request the housekeeping clean the room and they never showup just left some towels but never clean and dress the bed.The rugs are dorty too i thibk they need to change all the rugs.

OK for a quick stay. We had a suite, kitchenette had no usable flatware, which we needed for food we brought to heat up in microwave. Don't like the cheap fake wood flooring...lots of bounce in the floor, noisier than needed to be. Beds were half made--sheets came right off the corners because they weren't secured and beds were so close to the walls it was hard to get in and fix them. But OK facility for a quick stay. Just don't rely on the kitchens having what you need.

Stayed in early May, really enjoyed the King suite with the two bathrooms that’s a game changer. Came back beginning of June for military graduation. My only complaint is the pull out. Couch is just uncomfortable. The first day I allowed my ex-wife and son to stay in the bed I had to stay on the couch, the second day. My parents came with me so they stayed in the king size bed. Both of them said the bed was very comfortable. I stayed on the couch, both trips and the couch was just terrible.

Their kitchen only has a small stove, fridge, and microwave, but it's not fully stocked. Only had 3 spoons for eating utensils. The tubs fill up while showering. Also, their breakfast is very limited, and both mornings I got there at 8:30 hr before they closed up and had no warm food for me, just cereal, muffins, or yogurt. The waffle maker was gross looking and the batter all spilled underneath it that stayed that way for the couple of nights I stayed there. It would of been nice to have eggs and bacon but no there wasn't any left. Next day was sausage gravy for you to grab three cold biscuits in it. Elevator is very slow too. Other than that it was quite and staff nice.

We liked the room but was disappointed the internet would not work on the 3rd floor. We called the desk twice and was told it should work and if not come down to desk and they could help. When we went down it worked without help so we thought all was good then went back up and nothing. My son had to finish his report on his hotspot which took forever and caused him to miss his submission deadline. The hallways and elevator was really dirty but the rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok. We told the lady at the front desk about the internet and she said they had been gettin complaints from the 2nd floor as well. This could have been a one off but sadly, I would not stay here again knowing the internet may not work but for the price it’s a good deal as long as you don’t need internet.

This facility is showing its age. Needs updating. Worn out carpets, flooring, and bed. Highway noise was almost intolerable.

We were in town for our son's military graduation. The room was very comfortable with the benefit of a full size refrigerator, microwave and a small stovetop.The AC was nice and cool and we didn't hear a lot of noise from other occupants. It was nice to meet other families who were in town for the same reason. If I could change anything it would be a larger, more comfortable gathering space to sit and visit with other military families. After we drop off military members off, we really have nothing to do for the rest of the evening except have dinner. The manager was very accommodating when we needed a late checkout. The check in/check out process was a breeze. However having never being at this location before I asked how far it was to the military base upon arrival and the desk clerk told me to "Google it". That was a little off putting. It's a 10 minute drive by the way but I would have expected that to be known.

Quiet, full breakfast, comfortable bed.

This hotel has definitely seen better days, our room especially. The “leather” couch was all scratched up; towel racks were falling out of the wall; and the closet doors rattled with every step (until we jammed a washcloth in-between). There were also no hand towels, no dishing washing soap in the dispenser, and a suspicious looking man in a white van parked in the back parking lot the whole entire time we were there (could possibly live there?!?). Luckily I had enough rewards “cash” to pay for all but one night of our stay. I would otherwise not pay full price for this hotel.

My wife will leave another review telling me I'm wrong, but I'm already in the pound for the lack of complimentary cashmere vanilla body wash, may as well spread the good word while here! So yeah, there is no Cashmere Vanilla body wash here, but the suite was great. Was there a hole in the couch? Yes. But we aren't doing politics here. We are going to stick to the facts. I didnt get bed bugs, I had a fridge, the air (hot and cold) worked great, the bathrooms were clean, and it was easy on / easy off from both I44 and Fort Leonard Wood. We got to see our daughter after graduation and that was awesome. We had just enough stuff in the kitchenette to make pollo con mole verde (thats chicken with flavor for any ody who thinks this is devil talk). WIFI worked well so my 5 year old could play Roblox during downtime. I'd give the wifi strenght a 6 / 7 out of 10. I was super concerned about the access to my room after reading the elevator reviews. Rest assured, the door opens, closes, you move up & down, and it fu ctions fine. Was it slow? I mean, I wasn't heading to the 115th floor of a Vegas hotel so its hard to say. Bottom line is I would stay here again. I would bring my family here again as well. Worst case is I get the side eye for a week, but then i have time to leave more reviews.

The beds where rock hard and pillows horrible. Smells like mold the whole second floor

Sarah was the best front desk person. Breakfast was delicious. The place smelled clean. Very nice for sure.

So annoyed and dissapointed. I gave noticed will be late checking in and when we get there they pre check us in and gave us key to a room where someone already checked in. So embarassed and scared as people in there already sleeping . They need to work on their system and ensure not to double book.

Best staff ever. Never have I stayed anywhere with such kind people ready to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Room was clean and the hotel was quiet.

We couldn’t get into the hotel or the room. The keys rarely worked. The couch looked like it was attacked by a large animal. Huge gouges taken out of it. The sheets had stains and hair. They had no milk, creamer, yogurt, they ran out of pancake mix and syrup. The gravy was cold and ran out of eggs. They also ran out of plates! The staff was rude and said they were doing the best they can and made constant excuses. I would never stay here again. Terrible.

I did not like the management he was very rude and disrespectful he was not empathetic towards the fact that my room wasn’t as expected

It a was a terrible start after been on the road for 16 hrs and upon arriving the clerk Dorian said that Expedia/Hotels .com had not sent the payment and that my receipt didn’t prove anything that I had to repay or wait in the lobby till the next day when the manager came in . She was so rude and had no people skills and I tried telling her and showing her my proof of payment but insisted that was not sufficient and yes she took out the best of me and called her manager and changed her way on the phone with her after hanging up became the same person rude , I ended up paying again after an hour of hell that she gave me . We were going to be there for 3 days this was an add on the other days payment was on file except this one. We were so tired already and exhausted so I paid for the night and got up the next day at 7 am to meet with the manager Blanca . She was amazing , her customer skills are beyond exceptional. She apologized for the inconvenience and the bad customer service we received from Dorian that night . She went out of her way to get that issue resolved we were basically on the phone with Expedia for more than 2 hours on and off and we had very unprofessional service from them too. But she didn’t give up she kept insisting until finally she was able to get the virtual card and applied it and automatically request for my refund which I got within 2 days. She is an exceptional person not only as an employee but as a friend we made a great friendship .

The front desk was helpful and very friendly. After the satellite went out, she worked hard to keep us updated and get a worker quixkly to fix.

Absolutely unhappy. The front desk would not let my fiance leave a room key for me to get in the room when I arrived late night. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk and I could not get into the hotel room. Even worse, in the morning the staff knocked despite it being before check out time, and barged in even though we had the do not disturb sign on. Me and my fiance were not fully clothed, and I told the staff member that the night receptionist ALREADY cleared us for an 1130am checkout. We were barged in on at 10:35! And the employee had the nerve to tell us check out was an additional 25 WHILE the door was still open! I cannot believe how unbelievably rude and inconsiderate this was, without being given an apology. And when we went to check out, yet AGAIN there was no one at the front desk for us to voice our concerns to. Ridiculous.

Amazing customer service! I called and let the facility know I would not be able to check in until after 1 am. They had everything ready when I showed up, Abhi was welcoming and efficient! Could not ask for a better staff!

Terrible customer service at check in. Waited at the counter for 20 minutes calling a number that was left on a sign stating out on the property please call. No answer when called. Rang the bell several times. When desk Chen clerk showed up she gave no greeting or apology.

Friendly staff at check-in, amenities were nice. Easy off and on expressway.

Quiet, comfortable and spacious PLUS is near many restaurants and Walmart at just walking distance. We stayed in a 2Beds Queen sz Suite. I love how there was 2baths and a full size fridge with every necessary utensils and pans in the kitchen; beds were nice and cozy, the AC units were working properly, there was no weird smell as some people mentioned. The elevator was taking long to close doors but they were working on fixing it so at times we used the stairs. We arrived less than 1 hour before check-in and they let us in but although the room amenities was new and clean, the floor needed a good cleaning and they immediately sent staff the next morning. I Would probably stay again, the staff was really nice and helpful, Betty, the other front desk manager and some Hispanic ladies that were doing housekeeping made our stay very special. Would recommend !

Property is easy to access off of the freeway but there is nothing to eat within walking distance. Easy check in and the front desk personnel were friendly. Pet friendly and lots of walking room at the rear of property.

This was a safe, close to the highway, pet friendly stop. Not bad for anyone with a dog. We like the laminate flooring, no carpet in the room

We enjoyed our 3-day stay there as we were in town for graduation at Fort Leonard Wood; it was very convenient to get everywhere we needed to go and the room was very nice.

We got a suite at a great rate. It had a separate door from the hallway into the living room/kitchen area than the one into the bedroom which we thought was cool, and 2 bathrooms! Everything was comfortable and quiet within the hotel, but for 2 adults who live on a quiet street, the road noise was a problem and woke us up a few times. If you live in town, it would probably be fine for you. Nice breakfast and fine service.

Very friendly front desk for our middle of the night check-in. We went to breakfast super late in the morning and my girls wanted waffles. The mix left in the container was only enough for one waffle. I asked the attendant and she poured out the remaining batter and then whipped us up some more so we could make five waffles. Sausage gravy was delicious.

Great place. Only thing I have to complain about is there was no juice for breakfast. Machine said out of order.

Most of the staff was very friendly, the room was great. My only complaint was the breakfast which did not have a lot of options to start with for a gluten free person and then they would be running low at 8:00 and we would literally have to ask a staff person several times if there was yougard or why was there no juice or eggs (all juice out of service).

No waffle batter on first morning, said they couldn’t make more then more people showed up and she made a little more , 2 nd morning coffee machine “ out of order” , what? No coffee? Ughh
