This is such an authentic experience with the staff making it feel so homey. The breakfast that is included is rather average. We truly enjoyed staying there. The international festival is delightful.

The property grounds are terrific with big old trees covered in moss, sitting gardens and paths. The breakfast - such a delight with attentive, friendly staff and tasty food at a breakfast table meeting other guests was a treat. Hospitality is great. If only there was some reinvestment in the facilities. Local noises come right into the rooms and the bed mattresses need an upgrade. HVAC was great.

The hot water only stays on for about two minutes and then turns completely cold, making it difficult to shower. The beds are also very old and extremely squeaky, which makes it hard to rest. In addition, when we turn on the A/C, there is an intermittent low vibration noise that keeps coming on and off, and we cannot figure out the cause.
