역과시내에서 좀 거리가 있어 망설였는데 조용하고정원도 있고산도보이고 방도 넓고 침구도 좋았어요. .다음날은 시내복판서 잤는데 방은 좋았지만 문열면음식냄새.소음. 아도니스가 생각나더라고요.특히 전자렌지.그릇.수저.스푼.나이프.물등 자유롭게 갖다쓸수 있도록 갖추어 있어서 편안한 숙박이었어요

Clean room with a comfortable bed in a nice area. 5 min walk west to the gondola taking you up to The best skiing. 5 min walk east to local grocery and the downtown with nice views of the Matterhorn. Convenient storage room on basement for skis and equipment. Great breakfast in the am and staff was helpful with ski reports on different lifts. Great bang for your buck, highly recommend.

Rooms are small but had what we needed. It is easy to hear others in their rooms, but most are there for the outdoors, so it was quiet after 9 pm. The optional breakfast buffet for 16 CF was quite good with a worker there keeping everything refilled and clean. There was an open kitchen downstairs for anyone staying to use. It was well equipped and had an eating area. Of note: they are serious about NO food in the rooms. Not even tea!! There must have been problems to have such serious rules. I did have tea without issue, but I took my teacup back to the kitchen as instructed. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train, but taxis are available. Zermatt does not allow cars, so expect to walk, and dodge out of the way of fast bikes and electric taxis.

Clean, comfortable stay in an older but well-maintained small hotel. The room was dpacious, but lacked some of the amenities we've come to expect, such as coffee and tea in the room. It was available downstairs, but unless you want only hot water, you have to pay extra. A good breakfast is available for less additional cost than other hotels we stayed at, but the selection of foods was not quite as extensive. Location is good; close to the bus lines, which go both to the Banhoff and to the Gornergrat Railway station (a 20 minute walk from the hotel in one direction) and to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise gondola station (a 5 minute walk in the other direction). Most other sites and restaurants and shopping are between a 5 and 15 minute walk. Isabella was yhere at the desk most of every day, and she was always friendly and helpful. Finally, there is a shared kitchen downstairs where guests can prepare and eat their own meals -- a plus after you've had your fill of searching out and eating highly-priced bar food and traditional meals. Overall, I would recommend the Adonis if you're not insistent that your room boasts the most modern features and amenities. (Note: We've not skiers, so we cannot speak to the Adonis' services for skiers, though we did see it has a ski room downstairs.)

Great service, nice location/room. Breakfest was pretty good would include/add that. The only issue was had to pay extra for sauna and gym did not have wifi (would have not been a big deal but no cell service in basement).

A bit far from the main strip, train stations and shops which can be nice to avoid noise and crowds when at such a relaxing destination. Hotel staff very pleasant and accommodating.

If you plan to ski in Zermatt, Adonis has an ideal location. It is about 7-8 minutes by foot, carrying skis to a ski lift that takes you to Furi where you can transfer to any side of the mountain. Adonis is also very close to several great restaurants, and the City center is just a few minutes away. It is affordable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful; the hotel also has a few useful amenities, e.g., a washer and dryer, a kitchen, and a nice bar area. My rooms had plenty of space for two, and I could even see the tip of Matterhorn from my balcony. Everything in the hotel is super clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was also great, with tons of options to eat, e.g., omelets, sausages, cold cuts, muesli, pancakes, etc.

I had the cutest attic bedroom, like a dream Alpine chalet in the clouds. Everyone was very friendly, breakfast was yummy, and there is even a kitchen in the basement for travelers if you want. Thank you Hotel Adonis!

The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was clean. Breakfast was ok. Everyone crammed in tables shoulder to shoulder. I like some space between strangers when eating. Nice place to stay but don’t get the breakfast.

Building is falling apart. Bathroom had plaster molding and falling off the wall. Bathroom floor had chipped and cracked tiles. Towels were old ( could buy nicer towels at a second hand store) . No coffee maker , rude female front desk staff. Horrible place !!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the adonis Hotel. We were upgraded to what we thought was the best room in the hotel as it had a balcony and a view of the Matterhorn. You need to be in good health though as there are no cars allowed and the streets are quite hilly. But the cable car access to the mountains was quite close and made for an amazing and unforgettable experience.the breakfast was quite plain but sufficient and the staff were extremely helpful.

駅からは少し歩きますが、綺麗な部屋で窓からの景色もよく、過ごしやすかったです。スタッフの方々も親切で、夜中のチェックインや早朝のチェックアウトにも丁寧に対応してくださり助かりました。朝食もおいしかったです。冷蔵庫があるともっとよかったなあと思います。

Ik had een eenpersoonskamer, budget Je weet dat je dan een kamer met mindere kwaliteit krijgt. Maar deze kamer had een schuin aflopend plafond waardoor in het grootste gedeelte het plafond liep van ongeveer 180 cm tot ongeveer 1 meter. Alleen bij het bed dat in een nis stond was het hoger dan 185, daar kon ik staan met mijn 183. Voor de rest moest je alles gebukt doen, ook lopend naar de badkamer. Voor kleine mensen misschien wel geschikt, maar boven de 170 cm niet te doen. De badkamer zelf was wel van normale hoogte omdat deze in het dak was uitgebouwd. Dus ik snap niet dat zo n kamer aangeboden wordt. Plus een klein venstertje met tralies ervoor. Verder bij het ontbijt ook weer verbaasd. Er was te weinig ruimte en de tafels waren gereserveerd .Werd daarom in het bagagehok geplaatst waar ook een paar tafels waren geplaatst. Zit je tussen de koffers te eten. Zeer ongastvrij gevoel dus. Blij dat ik er maar een paar dagen ben geweest, eens maar nooit weer.

I had the cutest attic bedroom, like a dream Alpine chalet in the clouds. Everyone was very friendly, breakfast was yummy, and there is even a kitchen in the basement for travelers if you want. Thank you Hotel Adonis!

Clean room with a comfortable bed in a nice area. 5 min walk west to the gondola taking you up to The best skiing. 5 min walk east to local grocery and the downtown with nice views of the Matterhorn. Convenient storage room on basement for skis and equipment. Great breakfast in the am and staff was helpful with ski reports on different lifts. Great bang for your buck, highly recommend.

Building is falling apart. Bathroom had plaster molding and falling off the wall. Bathroom floor had chipped and cracked tiles. Towels were old ( could buy nicer towels at a second hand store) . No coffee maker , rude female front desk staff. Horrible place !!!!

When checking in we were told the room we reserved with three beds should have been reserved for three people which we were unaware of when booking it (we reserved for 2). So after the person got done laughing at us for this mistake (he later apologized) we agreed to pay an additional $150 US dollars. We paid the amount, received our keys and settled into our rooms. The next morning when going out for the day, another employee stopped us saying we need to pay even more then what was agreed upon, and demanded more money. We indicated we already paid the extra and would not pay more the second time. That evening they stopped us again and said what we were doing was illegal unless we paid more. This made absolutely no sense but we then had to pay them a third time another $203. While we stayed at numerous hotels on our trip through Switzerland and Germany, this was by far the worst experience we had. For sub-par rooms having to pay them three times and deal with angry staff almost ruined our experience traveling to what was otherwise a great town.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Adonis war ausgezeichnet. Das Ambiente war sehr "heimelig" und einladend und das Angebot überaus zufriedenstellend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aüsserst zuvorkommend. Ich empfehle das Hotel Adonis wärmstens weiter, bedanke mich für diesen tollen Aufenthalt und freue mich aufs nächste mal.

Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with this hotel in Zermatt. We had two fully paid reservations, but during our trip to Switzerland we lost our passports — a serious, unexpected situation completely beyond our control, supported by official documents from the police, SBB, and the Brazilian Consulate. We were forced to interrupt our trip and travel immediately to Zurich to resolve the emergency, which made it impossible for us to arrive at the hotel. The hotel was informed as soon as everything happened. Even so, it refused any kind of refund, credit, or alternative solution, despite all the documentation provided. Hotels.com was also contacted and, unfortunately, did not offer any resolution. I understand cancellation policies, but I expected at least empathy and common sense in the face of a clearly documented force majeure situation. I am leaving this review so that other travelers are aware of how the hotel handles real emergency situations. A great disappointment.

This hotel is slightly further out of Zermatt than most others we looked at (so about a 15 minute walk from the train station instead of 5...not a big deal). We chose it because we did not want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the main areas of Zermatt. We really appreciated how quiet it was. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and for a small buffet it still included lots of options. Our room had a little deck that overlooked a back garden which at the time had flowers and birds and was lovely to sit out and look over. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was quick, and our room was a good size. The bedding in our room was very comfortable. We (myself and my two teens) would stay there again.

A short taxi trip from the main train station. And a very short walk to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car. Beautiful view of the Mettelhorn /Platthorn. Very helpful and friendly staff. The most quiet hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Very happy. Also securely held our luggage after checkout to enable us to travel hike a bit more.

Rooms are small but had what we needed. It is easy to hear others in their rooms, but most are there for the outdoors, so it was quiet after 9 pm. The optional breakfast buffet for 16 CF was quite good with a worker there keeping everything refilled and clean. There was an open kitchen downstairs for anyone staying to use. It was well equipped and had an eating area. Of note: they are serious about NO food in the rooms. Not even tea!! There must have been problems to have such serious rules. I did have tea without issue, but I took my teacup back to the kitchen as instructed. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train, but taxis are available. Zermatt does not allow cars, so expect to walk, and dodge out of the way of fast bikes and electric taxis.

Clean, comfortable stay in an older but well-maintained small hotel. The room was dpacious, but lacked some of the amenities we've come to expect, such as coffee and tea in the room. It was available downstairs, but unless you want only hot water, you have to pay extra. A good breakfast is available for less additional cost than other hotels we stayed at, but the selection of foods was not quite as extensive. Location is good; close to the bus lines, which go both to the Banhoff and to the Gornergrat Railway station (a 20 minute walk from the hotel in one direction) and to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise gondola station (a 5 minute walk in the other direction). Most other sites and restaurants and shopping are between a 5 and 15 minute walk. Isabella was yhere at the desk most of every day, and she was always friendly and helpful. Finally, there is a shared kitchen downstairs where guests can prepare and eat their own meals -- a plus after you've had your fill of searching out and eating highly-priced bar food and traditional meals. Overall, I would recommend the Adonis if you're not insistent that your room boasts the most modern features and amenities. (Note: We've not skiers, so we cannot speak to the Adonis' services for skiers, though we did see it has a ski room downstairs.)

The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was clean. Breakfast was ok. Everyone crammed in tables shoulder to shoulder. I like some space between strangers when eating. Nice place to stay but don’t get the breakfast.

If you plan to ski in Zermatt, Adonis has an ideal location. It is about 7-8 minutes by foot, carrying skis to a ski lift that takes you to Furi where you can transfer to any side of the mountain. Adonis is also very close to several great restaurants, and the City center is just a few minutes away. It is affordable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful; the hotel also has a few useful amenities, e.g., a washer and dryer, a kitchen, and a nice bar area. My rooms had plenty of space for two, and I could even see the tip of Matterhorn from my balcony. Everything in the hotel is super clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was also great, with tons of options to eat, e.g., omelets, sausages, cold cuts, muesli, pancakes, etc.

The Adonis hotel was really comfortable, spacious, welcoming, and in a good quieter location just 3 mins walk from main areas (and a delicious bakery). We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and stayed in the quad room at the very top, which was really spacious with a lovely balcony with views. Beds were comfortable and useful to split into 4 singles. Mini fridge in the room was handy. Brilliant power shower. The hotel has a lovely large garden area to use as well which is well maintained. The lady on the desk was friendly and very helpful. We brought our own mini fans to help cool us down while sleeping (stayed mid July) as there is no cooling provided, like most of the more 'affordable' hotels. Highly recommend.

A very nice clean hotel with large spacious rooms, clean and large bathrooms and a great location. The staff were very kind and helpful and the breakfast was good too.
