The property was in the heart of Lisbon which was convenient when looking for sites to see or restaurants to eat at. There was no parking which was fine since we did not have a car. We did have to walk a short distance to meet our tour guides since they could not get to the hotel to pick us up. The staff was friendly and the paid breakfast was good. We had an issue with the shower not draining which resulted in a small flood but easily cleaned up. We had to unclog the hair from the drain ourselves in order for the shower to work properly.

Really clean and comfortable place to stay in Salvatore, walkable location, up to hill 28 tram cross passing. Friendly staff, free coffee and tea 24H, big comfortable lobby, just everything is perfect,we will definitely come back next year.

Convenient hotel just a few minutes walk from Mirador das Portas do Sal. Simple, minimalist, modern, clean, comfortable, with everything you need. Modern courtyard. Great for price. Nice staff. Has nice coffe machine at lobby with delicious cappuccino.

Pros: Location is excellent for any activity or sight seeing Alfama. Everything is within walking distance. Tram stop is 1 minute away. The staff is most friendly, accommodating and helpful. Great price for its central location and quality of rooms and service Cons: Breakfast room is way too small to handle many guests at onetime No way to accommodate guests who drive - no access and parking

Great place to stay! They have great coffee offered all day. The rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast is delicious. They're a close walk to many main areas but out of the way of major tourist areas. I arrived quiet early and they were able to have my room ready 3 hours early ( which wasnt expected but appreciated). I highly recommend! Thanks for the greay stay!

Beatiful and clean hotel in Lisbon Alfama district. This is walkable to many attractions, close to dining, groceries, tram, uber/bolt stops. Uber/bolt will not be able to drop off in front of the hotel but private transport service and taxi with access to the narrow street will be able to drop off/pick up in front of the hotel. Reception people are friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than check-in time and our room was ready. Contact them prior to arrival and if possible, they will accommodate your request to check earlier when the room is available. Bed are comfortable and smells fresh upon arrival. There’s a fridge, coffee pot, instant coffee/tea and water. The view in our room was a plus. There’s breakfast for additional fee which I did not include in this stay. I will choose this hotel again when i visit Lisbon. Highly recommended. Shout out to Miguel who checked us in, Flavio who provided the history of the hotel and Matthias who checked us out and helped us with our taxi service. Kudos to all who maintains this hotel.

Great propery in a quiet area. Entrance is located in an alley area down a hill. If coming from airport or train, you might want to take an official taxi and not Uber or similar. The road has a barrier that only residents or taxis have permission on. It is a steep hill so you might want to.get a Taxi instead if you are hauling luggage.

Great hotel but getting there (self driving) is a challenge !! Don’t rent a large car ! GPS struggles to find the hotel, so make sure you have good directions before heading in to Lisbon.

Overall a decent hotel in the old Alfama district of Lisbon. My room is clean with a nice view of the river. My only complaint is the shower. It’s missing a partition and water splashes all over

I forgot how loud Alfama can be. it’s been a few years. Hotel is very nice, amazing water pressure, but the drain is very slow and the basin overflows all over the bathroom.

Great location, quiet, nice modern interior. Rooms were clean, however, there was a lot of mold in and around the shower which should have been addressed a long time ago! Breakfast options lacked variety and the charge for bottled water in the room was ridiculously high.

Nice hot breakfast every day. Very clean/quiet/friendly The duplex/2-level rooms - as seniors with luggage, it was very difficult to get them up the stairs. Also if you get up during the night, the bathroom is downstairs- not an issue for many but a challenge for us.

Finding it is a challenge but once you’re there it’s great. Accessible by foot to old town as well as tourist area - be ready for lots of hills. Very friendly staff with a good breakfast daily. Our deluxe room had upstairs bedroom and downstairs bath.

Hotel is generally good , its in the old town so be prepared to walk up and down the hills into town. Staff were super friendly on check in and showed us where all the landmarks were on a map. The aircon doesnt work so when i called reception they said to open the window but the room looked out over the super busy road where the trams run so was incredibly noisy. Aircon was never fixed as they dont have any maintenence people on site (thats what they told me). I heard other people in reception complaining about aircon so its a wider issue. Also each room has its own wifi network, ours was broken so we had to connect to next doors which made it a bit slow. Room itself was fine, pretty standard.

Our only suggestion is better signage so people could find the hotel easier. Our cab dropped us off and said the hotel is nearby. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. We had a 2 story room with bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs. A bit hard to go downstairs at night.

Hotel Convento do Salvador was excellent. Particularly the front desk staff in demeanour and presentation. Complimentary coffee and water in reception area, soaps and hand cream amenities were good quality, the variety of breakfast menu items was excellent. The rooms were clean. That they opened on to a central courtyard was lovely.

The staff was amazing. This cute hotel is on an off street our uber could not take us down. The staff came and got us from where we were dropped off! The rooms were clean and AC worked great when it was hot outside.

We love to walk and so the location of this hotel was superb. Walking up and down the cobblestone narrow streets was a definite workout but worth the experience. The only possible downside is that you must be a resident or taxi driver to drive to the hotel from the top of the street. We simply took a taxi with our luggage to our car rental place after our beautiful stay.

The hotel was spotless and well-maintained. The quiet location in Alfama was well-located, within easy walking distance of the castle, church of Sao Vicente, Cathedral, church of St. Anthony’s birthplace, Fado Museum, beautiful and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the city and Tagus river. and many fantastic restaurants (including those offering Fado music). The 24/7 staff was friendly, spoke fluent English, and extremely helpful in arranging tours or restaurant reservations. The breakfast buffets were excellent. The hotel is within easy (downhill) walking distance of the cruise terminal.

Room was newly renovated and clean. Staff friendly and helpful to deal with. Area where it's located not all taxis, urber's can get to, down, on a steep hill, so have to get your baggage up and down. Streets cobblestone, which can also makes things more difficult. Very challenging for someone with mobility issues, as all that area is fairly hilly.

Nice hotel in the older parts of Lisbon. Nice room and service-minded staff. The bread at the breakfast was on the drier side and there were a few small things in the room they could have fixed, but otherwise a nice stay.

Hotel was quick to respond to questions via hotel.com. Staff was friendly but not warm and fuzzy kinda friendly. The men associates were not very engaging, was my experience: Room was excellent. AC worked great: very clean room. Cable car running 25 meters away can be a bit noisy. Got stuck in the elevator for a few minutes. Breakfast is a good value : it’s very crowded and not laid out well. The hotel has so much space in the lobby and courtyard. Not sure why those areas are not utilized. The layout of the breakfast just becomes a cluster when it’s busy. The street the hotel is on, is not really accessible via a car or taxi/uber. The ally is very very dark at night which is not ideal. I liked the interior decor. There really isn’t a swim pool. Based on the size, I’d say a kid pool at best. Hotel staff was helpful in arranging a cab to the airport.
