It was very crowded in the outdoor pool area. This hotel shares a pool with the other hotel Courtyard which is in the same building. So you can imagine that the pool area and jacuzzi were packed. Breakfast image on the website was miss leading. Breakfast was ok. Room was ok.

Good location near Manhattan Beach and next to the Hawthorne Police Department and Library, which added peace of mind. Staff was friendly, and the price was reasonable. The hotel shares parking and amenities with Courtyard, but parking was limited despite a $20 daily fee — very disappointing. The gym was large and clean but only had cardio equipment. Rooms were generally clean but showed significant wear — ripped carpet, torn bedding, broken doors, and faulty locks raised security concerns. With better maintenance and parking, this could be a great stay.

Great place! Had chargers for my car and a nice restaurant and bar right downstairs. The room was lovely and had both a fridge and a microwave (which are harder to find these days). I’ll definitely stay again if I need to be in that area. (Close to The Forum and SoFi).

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, friendly staff, good location. Breakfast was ok. We stayed during Thanksgiving so breakfast area was pretty full, so they kept running out of the hot food (eggs, potatoes, etc) Breakfast was until 10am one day, but they stopped refilling the potatoes and other items even before the time was over. They should have brought more because there were so many people and the time was not over. And parking was $25 which makes no sense since it was just a regular parking lot that you park yourself. This hotel had an elevator down the whole time. I guess it had been down for months. The room was nice and big but, the fan in the bathroom NEVER turned off, it drove me crazy all night long. Also in the room the back of the curtains were covered in food stains. Breakfast was gross and they could not keep up with the people so there was often no food. The employees were not overly friendly and because there was only 1 elevator they had to squish in with us with their cleaning carts.it was a good location for the things we were doing but would never recommend this property. Usually Marriot has higher standards than this.

Parking was terrible- the permit sign should be given ahead to fill out and place prior to entering the facility. upon entering my room door- a pungent smell hit me like a ton of bricks. oddly it was a mix of cigarette and pickle smell. We also noticed while trying to use the restroom the door lock was faulty. The carpet and curtains have various stains all throughout. I called to let reception know right away. I was told they would have someone come up to fix it in about 15 minutes. The gentleman came up past the 15 mins with a spray bottle to resolve the "smell". It did make the room smell better for all of 2 minutes and disapated. The smell was nauseating all night and literally gave me a migraine. My family tried to all settle in and conduct our bedtime routine- the bathtub looked dingy and dirty with old calcified spots all over the metal and dirt stains on the floor of the bathtub- needless to say we skipped taking a bath due to this. while trying to set up the pull out couch we realized the disgusting stains all over the mattress- which looked like blood and urine. we decided to cram together in the 2 beds which led for aln uncomfortable sleepless night. I would say the stay was less than pleasant.

This was the most disgusting Marriott I have stayed in. i usualy never write this review but this is much need. I the bathroom had no toliet paper, the couch had spots that when i looked and got close it was urine. YES URINE. When I called down stairs the gentlean try to say no it not I then told him to come up and stick his head how there an smell it? he apolized but that was it an brought a blanket to cover the couch so we could sit. the lamp had no shade on it. the windows were so finger printed and dirt. The bathtub was dirty There was stain on my bed sheet Also a lot of stain on the sofa and the carpet Breakfast only serves until 9:00 and was so crowded and there was not enough variety foods. And very expensive parking fee $22/night Crazy! But always full parking because they have 2 hotels in the same parking lot

We checked in immediately after coming from the beach , 1st thing I do is walk into shower & there are hairs everywhere. Complained to the front and sent someone to clean it . The grumpy man that came to clean it was rude about it . Woke up for breakfast & by 8 an hour into breakfast it was all gone . When asked if they were bring out more the worker said they were out of a lot of the items . Don’t get me started on the parking !!!! Not enough of it and very compact space

Honestly the pool was dirty as was the area. They often ran out of pool towels. They had some crazy parties out there that got out of hand, people were drinking and smoking weed like crazy. Me and the kids did not feel safe and had to leave that area. Hotel staff did nothing. Breakfast was just ok. Need to upgrade the toasters. They have one double toaster and a single that take forever. Not conducive to how many guests were there at breakfast. My room smelled like someone smoked in it. I would not stay there again.

The staff was the highlight of my stay—everyone from housekeeping to the front desk and food service was friendly, responsive, and pleasant. The hotel had a lively atmosphere and the interior decor felt spacious and updated. That said, there were several drawbacks. In my room, the shower initially only trickled until I realized the handle needed to be rotated, and there was visible oxidation ans wear around the shower area (though still watertight). The vanity was loose on its hardware and kept coming unhooked, confusing my older mom. The heating/AC unit was also extremely loud, which made it hard to rest. Housekeeping ran out of face towels, so I had to use hand towels. Finally, trash left in the narrow hallways by other guests wasn’t cleared quickly, which felt unsanitary. Outdoor area is great. Outdoor fire needs to be left on later especially in summer. Adult size towels needed not kid size in pool area. Room air-conditioning dated and very noisy. Hardly kept up during the day and it wasn't hot. Fridge was not very cold. Needed to press the boost button continually. Building corridors smelt Complimentary coffee was cold . Please supply real milk not the powdered fake satchel.Creamier. Late check out only 1 hour later and parking is $22 pd. No airport shuttle. The indoor areas are great and so are the booths. None of the remotes worked on the 6 booth TVs. Front desk was friendly but not informative. Stay was ok but would go elsewhere next time near LAX.
Outdoor area is great. Outdoor fire needs to be left on later especially in summer. Adult size towels needed not kid size in pool area. Room air-conditioning dated and very noisy. Hardly kept up during the day and it wasn't hot. Fridge was not very cold. Needed to press the boost button continually. Building corridors smelt Complimentary coffee was cold . Please supply real milk not the powdered fake satchel.Creamier. Late check out only 1 hour later and parking is $22 pd. No airport shuttle. The indoor areas are great and so are the booths. None of the remotes worked on the 6 booth TVs. Front desk was friendly but not informative. Stay was ok but would go elsewhere next time near LAX.

Upon check-in at 4:15pm as a party of five, with a reservation for a two queen bed with pull-out sofa bed room, there were no rooms in our size ready for us. Rooms were supposedly still being cleaned. Being that we were now going to be late for our concert, we were provided with another room to get ready in. We could not access our own room until we returned at midnight. We were sadly late for our concert. Immediate check-in staff was not very friendly, but Dior who finally accommodated us was very helpful. Room was good, however upon check-out, we observed a room across the hall seemingly being treated for what I assume were bed bugs. It was a suitable distance away from SoFi Stadium, but not having a room ready for us and having to juggle our belongings in a temporary room and hope they were properly transferred to our real room later, was a real drag. Having to check-in after midnight, after a long drive from San Diego and a long concert, was not ideal. We will not return to this property.

Exceeded my expectations. Very nice staff! Lovely complimentary breakfast Nice spacious clean room. I waa fine with the matttress but my sister thought it waa lumpy. Thats a matter of preference. But the property is well kept and conveniently located for what i needed to do. Will definitely be booking this place on my future returns to LA.

Great place! Had chargers for my car and a nice restaurant and bar right downstairs. The room was lovely and had both a fridge and a microwave (which are harder to find these days). I’ll definitely stay again if I need to be in that area. (Close to The Forum and SoFi).

Great location if you want to see everything LA has to offer, such as Beverly Hills/Hollywood, beaches, and Disneyland (to fully appreciate LA, you’re going to have to drive), very close to the airport, great customer service from Jordan, Amanda, and another sweet lady who helped me locate my lost glasses. The hotel is in a quiet and safe part of town, and near the police station, a fire department, and city hall. Room was clean and spacious. Free breakfast was delicious, as well. Our family has stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last 6 years. We like the location in proximity to downtown Los Angeles & other local attractions. The hotel has great facilities such as a pool, hot tub, small basketball court, bbq grills, gym, and a cafe in the lobby. While we appreciate the amenities, I can see that the hotel rooms & halls have worn over the years & could use renovations. The cafe staff was great, however, I felt like I was bothering front desk & housekeeping with really basic inquiries.

We checked in immediately after coming from the beach , 1st thing I do is walk into shower & there are hairs everywhere. Complained to the front and sent someone to clean it . The grumpy man that came to clean it was rude about it . Woke up for breakfast & by 8 an hour into breakfast it was all gone . We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, friendly staff, good location. Breakfast was ok. We stayed during Thanksgiving so breakfast area was pretty full, so they kept running out of the hot food (eggs, potatoes, etc) Breakfast was until 10am one day, but they stopped refilling the potatoes and other items even before the time was over. They should have brought more because there were so many people and the time was not over. And parking was $25 which makes no sense since it was just a regular parking lot that you park yourself. No gate, nothing special. time was not up yet. And parking. was $25 per

Would absolutely stay here again! Rooms were fine. We really enjoyed the pool area and check in was super easy and efficient. You can tell theres a lot of traffic and it's popular so there's wear and tear in the rooms. Biggest area for improvement would be the bar. Bar staff was super slow paced, ingredients for drinks out of stock, another member of staff had to track down the people who were supposed to be behind the bar so I could order, and then it took 10 minutes with no other customers for a mocktail.

Clean room. Good price. Breakfast was not good. Not a lot of options. Only hot food was scrambled eggs, sausage (turkey saudage on Sunday) and the most disgusting oatmeal ever. Also, the juice machine was broken the whole time so they had pitchers out but the staff person who was servicing the breakfast area/food couldn't walk and moved very slowly when she did (not just referring to moving from one place to another-I'mtalking refilling, ppening ip new bottles, etc.) so things were going empty and staying empty for longer than they probably should have. If you asked her for anything like milk, half and half, sugar, whatever, you got a huff in response. Otherwise staff and housekeeping were really nice. Parking kind of sucked when we got back late (after 9pm) but we were always able to cut through the adjoined hotel. Overall, yes we plan on stayjng here again when we visit LA.
