Hyatt House Nashville Downtown-Convention Center

The property is close to all the entertainment in. Nashville. Property was clean and well maintained. Bar was small and delightful ( live music). Breakfast was great also

Entrance area and parking while checking in very limited. In order to gain access to the very lovely, large and well lighted under ground garage you must check- in. Garage access requires your room. There is no signage indicating need for key access is required so multiple cars back up, get stuck at the gate and Munster back up in very tight area and turn around. Poor design!

The room was really good! The trash cans were a little small, but other than that everything was great. The room was clean and spacious. Hotel staff was awesome and friendly and helpful. There was a staff member working in the hallway the first day we were there, but it was not noisy, and he was very respectful each time we passed him. Pool was really good as well. Parking is $45 per day which is not ideal, but it's whatever. This was a great stay and I think we will be back!

Close walking distance to everything. Work out area had everything I needed. Wish they had some of the breakfast items every day like French toast. Out of 5 days it was only there once.

The accommodations are clean and in good condition, the gym and pool area were also extremely clean and well kept. Thank you.

Overall nice first rate Hotel in a convenient location to the Gulch and the City Winery. Both were a short walk away. Parking was convenient but costly which is typical for the area. Staff was friendly. There was no water availability on the floor that we could find. I'd stay there again.

Elevators were glitchy, our hallway had dirty laundry piled in the hallway for a whole day. Parking garage had difficult lay out for parking

The staff knew us by name. It was very clean. Our stay was lovely.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was great as well. The location is a short walk to Broadway so it was perfect! Highly recommend!

Given the nightly rate, I was expecting that the rooms would be better maintained. Wall paper pealing in areas, grout around shower not clean, etc. I will say that the bedding is excellent and comfortable. The live music on Friday evenings was an unexpected suprise.

Clean, modern hotel with friendly staff. Very good complimentary breakfast in the morning. We walked a few blocks to the downtown. Great experience.

The room was dirty, the edges of the carpet were filthy with dead bugs and hair. The shower had pink mold and black mold and mildew. Carpet smelt funky. The price I paid was an insult. Thankfully it was only 2 nights or I would have had to move. Staff at the desk had a little attitude. It would take something major for me to book this personally or for business.

All the cups in the room were dirty. The walls near the air vents were dirty. Everything was good.

First night when we entered the room the freezer door was open. We had to call twice to report construction noises, and the ac sort of made banging noises all night and didn’t cool. We got moved to another room where the tv didn’t work.

Very nice.The only issue was that the room was hot, the air did not work very well.

Spotless Facilities and the room was huge! Super comfortable bedding and an incredible downtown location!!! A 5-6 minute walk to Bridgestone Arena.

Pros: Location was good. We could walk to Broadway easily. Front Desk staff were very kind and helpful. Parking Garage was good to have for security. Cons: walls very thin. We could hear the guests next door clear as day, especially coming back from bar at 2:30am and having a fight 😳 The shower did not have a good seal and leaked all over the floor.

The room was relatively large, clean and included a kitchen. It was also a short walk into Broadway Street and satisfied all of our needs. Would recommend.

Room was spacious and well though out. Details add up to a good experience. From enough space to put away your clothes to the fact that the TV mounted on the half-wall between the bed and the sitting area rotates so you can watch it from either side, to double white/black window blinds which you can combine for various effects. Overall a very good experience, recommended.

Worth getting an upgraded room for more space. One of the best layout designs I’ve ever stayed in. Showers are super nice and spacious. Instant hot water and pressure was perfect. Inside pool is heated and very nice. The hotel lobby is very impressive.

The hotel was located in a great location to walk to Broadway & Printer's Alley. Only a 5 minute cab ride to Zanie's Comedy Club. Bed was comfortable. We were a little disappointed that the hotel didn't have a great view of downtown's skyline that we assumed it would since it was downtown, but it's surrounded by condos and only has 7 floors.

Rooms are a little outdated and the WiFi was terrible. Outstanding shower.

King Studio suite with pull out sofa was very large in size. Able room for cooking if needed. Breakfast buffet was great. It was 0.7 miles to Broadway. Walked it daily with no issues.

The staff went above & beyond.. our flight was early & they were able to accommodate us with early check in. Answer all questions. Definitely I would stay there again

We had a splendid time at the establishment. Edward, was the concierge. He was unbelievably helpful, kind, thoughtful, relational,. Frankly, he was just a stud. Our bartender after we hit Broadway, Guy, who spent some time in the armed services made a delicious Old-fashioned. He was also heroic. Everybody who was on staff was totally fabulous. We were even given to go boxes for breakfast the next day since we couldn’t stick around. Hundred percent would stay at this place again! An all star staff!

All 3 receptionist we dealt with were very helpful. Very convenient that they’ll hold your luggage before check in or after check out. Our room was ready when we arrived.

The location was walking distance to Broadway and other attractions. The breakfast was nice. I called for towels one evening about 9pm and they said someone would be right up. They never came. Next morning I called at 7am they said someone would be right there. No one showed up at 8:30 I called again they said towels will be right up they just got here. Then why not just tell me that I can't get towels until after 8am. I saw a housekeeper in the elevator on my way up for breakfast I told her about the towels she just stares at me then says she doesn't speak English. If you're the housekeeper, you should know what towels are. The closet wall had holes in it. TV didn't work. The kitchenette is not fully equipped there was only 1 coffee mug. A little disappointing for a Hyatt

The front desk went above and beyond they where the best each one them made my stay the best ever.

The hotel is well designed, comfortable and clean. Staff, especially at the bar, was friendly and helpful. My poor rating is because I had to check out one day before and I was charged the full night. I do not think this is acceptable.

Rude and incompetent staff, housekeeping loud and inconsiderate. The room was very clean and proximity to broadway was great.

The one problem we had was with the bartender. He could not manage the cash register. He charged us double for what we ordered. He had a very nasty attitude about straightening it out so after talking to management several times we finally got it taken care of. It spoils your stay when you have an encounter like that!

When we arrived at the hotel to check in, the front desk informed us that they were experiencing an HVAC issue and had no available rooms. We were told we would be relocated to another hotel near the airport—approximately 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. We had booked this hotel four months in advance specifically to be within walking distance of Bridgestone Arena for an event. I explained this to the front desk supervisor, Shakira Bryant, who stated that there was nothing they could do. When I asked to speak with the next-level manager, she responded that the manager would tell me the same thing. I explained that, while I understood that might be the case, I still had additional questions about how and when guests were notified of the issue. Ms. Bryant stated that the hotel had attempted to notify guests the previous day, but that since I had booked through Hotels.com, the notification should have come from them. However, I never received any notice and could have made alternate arrangements had I been informed earlier. I also requested a copy of the refund receipt, but was told they could not provide one and that there was nothing further they could offer. At this point, I was only three hours away from my concert, without a hotel room, and forced to book last-minute accommodations at significantly higher prices. Fortunately, we were able to secure a room at The Joseph. However, based on this experience, I would not recommend the Hyatt House at the Convention Center

The hotel was very nice with friendly staff. It was in walking distance of entertainment venues. There was a fair amount of homeless people in the area and for the most part they did not bother people.

Very easy walk (5 min) to Broadway to access all the great pubs and musicians, Bridgestone Arena, Country Music Hall of Fame, etc

5 star quality lodging but in a 3 star area. 4 block walk to Broadway felt borderline unsafe

It was a great, comfortable stay. Staff was very friendly. It was nice to have free breakfast in the morning. We were very close to downtown, within a short walking distance to Broadway. The price was very reasonable considering its location close to downtown Nashville. When we do go back to Nashville, we will definitely be staying here!

Excellent location to Broadway and Bridgestone atea.

The Hotel itself was nice however the location was absolutely terrible. I was almost robbed attempting to walk from the hotel down the block for coffee. It was around 8am - a bystander driving down the road intervened. I made a police report and brought this to the attention of Hotel management and they didn’t offer anything but advice not to walk alone and also informed me they do not have video surveillance around their property.

Front desk person was courteous and helpful. Bartender was also excellent. Food choices in bar were limited. Room was clean. Area around hotel is dirty and unsafe.

Nice room and hotel. Close to downtown Nashville attractions. But breakfast was not good. Cold both mornings and not good offerings. Last day ate breakfast somewhere else.

Breakfast definitely needs an upgrade. Same thing everyday and no bacon, waffles or biscuits and gravy. Parking is a little steep $45 per night.
