My only problem was the elevator it closed to quickly. It almost nocked me down. I just had knee replacement surgery and I'm using a cane so I don't move very fast.

We've stay here before and enjoyed out stay. This time we were put on the 4th floor in a room that smelled bad and the a/c made terrible noises. And...the elevator stopped working! So we had to walk up 4 stories to our room. Both of my hips are prosthetic making this very difficult The staff told us they couldn't get it repaired until after the holiday. Really?! No company in the entire Houston metroplex that makes emergency repairs?! Glad we weren't stuck in the elevator all weekend. The staff really didn't care. But they did it with a smile...one lady was in a wheelchair. Her room was on the 3rd floor. So they just smiled and told her sorry. She had to leave. And of course there were no rooms available at the other hotels because of the Memorial day holiday. That's why we booked in advance. One family said the staff picked up their dirty towels at 8am and they didn't get clean towels until 8pm that evening. They had to use their beach towels when they showered. We didn't get clean towels until 8pm also but thankfully we had hung our towels after showering so could reuse them. And when we checked out the clerk smiled and said she hopes we'll come back. Nope! Don't hold your breath....this was by far the worst hotel stay we've experienced!

Loved the property but there is nothing to eat close by like walking distance and they don’t have condiments but they serve breakfast. Loved the hotel and the staff. Pool is too small

Breakfast service was slow. Elevator was out. We had to use stairs from 4th floor for 2 days that we stayed. When we asked for towels that were not available until next day. It was a terrible experience.

We found the hotel friendly, clean, helpful staff and generally a very good experience. This was one of the few in the area that welcomed our dog and had a very nice dog area. We appreciated the large, well appointed room that was comfortable for 3 adults and our dog! We will return! Thank you and Merry Christmas to you all!!

We traveled with 7 children! When we checked in we were told the pool was closed. This was a BIG deal because we made sure to book a hotel with a pool. It was apparent that the pool had not be treated, which should be a DAILY occurrence. The next morning we were told the pool could not be used for 5 hours. This means that the pool was treated that morning, not the evening before! We were only there for one night, so no swimming and 7 very disappointed children. Also, the plates and coffee cups were placed in the cabinets, but had not been washed. They were NASTY! Food had been left in the microwave by the previous guests and not removed by the custodial staff. When I complained about these things (specifically the pool), I was met with an eye roll. It was obvious that the staff did not care about our stay. I was very disappointed in this stay.

When we got to the hotel we were informed our King suites were no longer available and that they had called to tell us, which they didn’t. We were given 2 queen beds instead which was ok, however the rooms were not clean and my daughter in law found BED BUGS in her bed

Air conditioner was very loud and sounded like something was wrong with it, which made it hard to sleep. Room smelled strongly of carpet deodorizer and all the fixtures had a weird brown spotting. Cutlery wasn’t clean, and had sticky residue (in room) towels were stained, and bedding seems like it had been slept in and just had been remade and not changed. Breakfast was a weird combination and seating was in a strange place. This isn’t typical of a Hilton and was really disappointing. Almost made the 600 mile drive home through the night worth it.

I checked in just to drop my luggage and leave for a funeral. I noticed the restroom was not fully clean, but had to leave due to the time. When I came back to do a full inspection, my daughter and I had to wipe down everything and thoroughly clean our room at 12 midnight. I reported everything to the front desk. The front desk attendant stated they could possibly increase my honors rewards point. I told her I don't have honors rewards and I was not interested in signing up. The next morning I spoke with the manager who stated 40% would be deducted from my bill only to receive my receipt at checkout with no deduction. She asked if I wanted a cleaning that day and I replied no because I didn't trust it, especially if I've already cleaned it. The manager was not onsite during checkout. The front desk attendant called her and stated my complaint. I was informed the manager would contact me in the morning. So I'm waiting to see if this issue will be resolved.

The hotel is really modern and clean, only thing I didn't like was that my room was already paid for before arriving, and it was given to someone else. They gave another room but instead of being placed on the top floor like my first room I was placed on the second room, they probably had kids above my room because when I was in my room all I heard was kids running around. Good thing I only stayed for the night.

The facility is very nice, a good value for 2 queens and a sofa suite. However, the beds are hard as the floor. No soft spots, no give, just hard. The room was aesthetically pleasing, but we were hot all night. The air was down to 62, and it was warm. If you stood up you could feel cool air, but lying down, you didn’t need any covers. The shower was nice, great pressure. This was an overnight stay on our way to Galveston, with plenty of places to eat in the area.

Overall the stay was great. In one of the rooms, the TV did not work, we reported that to the front desk. It wasn’t a big deal. My only complaint would be the pillows I had were awful. My parters was fine, but there was only one decent pillow in our room, the other 2 were thin and not comfortable.

Check in was horrible. Check was 3 pm. I was there at 2:30pm and was told my room was not ready. At 3 pm I checked again and it still was ready. I had somewhere to be by 4 and needed to change clothes. My family and I had to get dressed in the bathroom due to our room not being ready. I was not able to get into my room until after 6pm. Then they gave me a room that was not ready. Beds were not made, trash had not been taken out etc. After another trip to the front desk I was able to get in a clean room.

My first night when I arrived after driving 7.5 hours was terrible. My room wasn't available and the front desk didn't have access to a supervisor which makes no sense at all. She then says I may have to call Expedia and they may have to change my room status or put me in another hotel. I ended up being put in a wheelchair accessible shower room.

Construction makes it a little hard to get to but it’s quiet and clean hotel. Staff is nice. Breakfast- well it’s a hotel breakfast. Average- wish they had Chocolate Milk😬 overall good stay. Not the best or worst bed. Large room. Would stay again.

The only thing wrong with the property the freeway is under construction which will take years to complete making it hatd to drive in the area. Once you are in things are great. Will use this place every times we are in Texas City.

New, clean hotel with a good breakfast bar. Room was very comfortable. We had an accessible room with about a 15-foot ceiling -- weird, but definitely roomy! Plenty of room for a family of 5 with all our luggage. Would probably stay here again on the way down to Galveston for a cruise. Only downside was that it is not along I-45 (it is along Gulf Fwy next to I-45); so, access is a bit strange. Also, construction in front of the hotel made access a bit challenging.

We spent one night here prior to a cruise. Overall the hotel was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. Our only complaint was the pillows, our king bed only had 3 pillows that were very flat. Thankfully we found a spare pillow with the extra bedding so we didn’t have to call the front desk to ask for another pillow. The continental breakfast was average. We would gladly stay here again.

Girls weekend for the Wicked Wine Run at Haak Winery. Very close to our destination and the hotel was amazing! Very roomy and comfortable! Breakfast was very good with great selections. We will return!!

The room was very clean, it was huge, and decorated so pretty. Lots of cabinet and storage space. There was every amenity in the room you’d need. Except…hand soap and lotion. The room was huge but the bathroom was tiny. This was the loudest room I’d ever stayed in. It was convenient because the side parking and side entrance was right next to the room but the fire whatever it was room was next door and every 5 minutes it sounded like an airplane was taking off. It was sooo loud all night. My oldest son wasn’t very comfy on the sofa bed but the room was large, and clean but had some hiccups. Oh…the breakfast is awful!! It tastes really bland and just not good.
