R&R Inn & Suites

Ground floor units each have a door to the outside, second floor units are accessed from an interior hall. There is no elevator to the second floor. Room was large, clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good.

Room was spotless. Parking spot for each room is reserved right in front of the door! Bed was very comfortable. Shower head was not fancy, no options. But the flow was strong and the temperature consistent and was honestly one of the best showers I have had in a long time! The agent at the front desk went out of her way to make me comfortable when had a very late check-in. She went above and beyond the call of duty, finding an item for me at that time of night that I had forgotten to pack. The air quality in the room was good. I will book this accommodation specifically should I be back in Camrose again.

This is an updated, older property that is a little difficult to find and the front yard is in very rough condition. Other than that it is a large updated suite that seemed to have construction workers as their main tenants. They are there to sleep so it was very quiet. Breakfast was fine though we did go to Tim Hortons to top up

This place was the best value for our money, at least at the time we stayed there (in comparison to what other hotels in Camrose were charging per night). The photos show the rooms as modern and roomy, however once we got there, we found it small and dated (had a real 80’s feel to it). The bathroom was incredibly small. The door was almost touching the bath when it was completely opened. The door knob to our room fell off when we tried opening it (this is a huge security risk), so can’t say the place was well maintained. There’s no elevator, so if you get a room on the second floor like we did, then expect to carry your luggage up to your room. The AC in the room worked to keep us cool, and the provided kettle, microwave and small fridge came in handy for us. The continental breakfast is as expected. Good thing is that some natural, healthier fruits are provided. Overall it served the purpose of providing us with a room for the night at a reasonable price in comparison to other hotels in the area. Don’t know if we could recommend it for a longer term stay though.

Outside door, practical for pet. Old, smelly. Bought air fresherner. No hottub as mentioned in the add. All beverage machines empty or out of order.

Each room had a microwave in it and 2 doors (one to where you park and one to the main hotel area). Every room looked like it had assigned parking right outside your hotel door, which is nice. I had 2 mini fridges in my hotel room (one slightly bigger than the other). Staff were really nice and breakfast is free. It is not extravagant breakfast (like with bacon, eggs, sausage, etc.), but it fit my needs (they had cereal, milk, coffee, hot water, tea, fruit, yogurt, porridge, muffins, pastries, bread and bagels).

No handicap accessible door. Room seemed like a storage room made into a room……..very dirty; someone else’s hair in in the shower. Drain in the sink was very slow. Main floor window was left unlocked. Called and was assured I would have an outside access door but it seemed because I booked with Expedia I was “punted” to the quasi storage room with no outside access door. Shameful

Their cleaning staff need to up their game. Under the bed was filthy and two pairs of socks. Unde the desk wasn't much better. Trim on the outside door was poorly repaired. The rest of the room was fine. The bed is definitely hard.

Not enough towels in the room and the room smelt like cigarette smoke.

I had a room with a queen bed. The bedskirt was filthy with stains on it. The 2 chairs in the room had towels covering their seating area. The couch was plywood with cushions on top. Also covered with a blanket to cover up its age and condition. Just needs to be updated

Beds were awful. They were hard as a rock. Otherwise a nice place.

If you're looking for a 5 star hotel this isn't the place but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a little small but otherwise clean. Lots of restaurant choices close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was great. staff very friendly. property is clean. nice breakfast. the only issue is the bed is too firm - have hip issues & had to move cushions from hide-a-bed onto the bed so I could lay down otherwise - great place!

The rooms are dated but very clean so that’s what matters. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable, there was a mattress that had wires sticking out the side and it was topped with a memory foam topper to help but unfortunately it did not help enough. Overall it’s good value for the price but I don’t know that I would stay here again until the mattresses get replaced

Bed was extremely soft and the bedding did not fit the bed. Room and bathroom was clean. The heater was quite noisy.

The price we paid was great. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and overall needs to be updated. It wasnt falling apart, just old color schemes and carpeting.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are excellent. It is getting a little dated and the walls are very thin so you can hear noises from adjoining rooms.

The only complaint I had about my main floor room was the easy transmission of noise from the level above.

Some people may say "dated", I say R&R Inn and Suites has a charming atmosphere that feels comfortable and welcoming. It's a feeling of a time gone by in the great heyday of motels. They are located in a fantastic area with easy access to all the offerings of Camrose. I enjoyed the freedom of both a private outdoor entrance and hallway access to the suite. Parking is provided right outside your door and reserved for each room, with parking out back for larger vehicles/ towing vehicles. The wi-fi was simple to access and was quick and high quality :) The staff are accommodating and friendly, and contributed greatly to the feeling of safety and security here. Not for the traveler expecting Hilton quality (why are you in Camrose with those expectations?) R&R Inn and Suites is the perfect place to rest and recuperate in Camrose. If I'm in the area again in the future, R&R will be my first choice!

The hotel was very clean and the front desk staff was most helpful and friendly!

We didn’t have the breakfast. The lady at the front desk was not very friendly. The room was outdated and not very clean. The shower was clogged so when my sister, had a shower the water was filling the tub. Last but not least there was a disgusting can outside our door full of cigarette butts. We will not be returning, ever!

Stayed for one night, booked last minute online and the property showed 2 rooms left at a great price. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find out I had been upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. This was very welcoming as I wasn’t feeling well and had a great sleep, in a comfy bed!

My wife and I spent two nights at the R&R Inn and Suites, Lacombe, over the course of our grandchildrens' volleyball tournament. Since we wouldn't be spending much time in the room (the kids' games began early and finished late on both days) we focused more on the price for our double overnight stay in Camrose (lovely city, by the way), than any other factor. So it was that when we logged onto our Expedia account to find the least-expensive lodging, we discovered the R&R facility near the top of the 'cheap' list. The reviews were higher, averaging 8.5/10 than the other low price places, so we hit 'Enter', and booked. We were pleasantly surprised by the room, which was a simple, standard two queen bed unit. The room hadn't been refurbished in a while, but everything was clean, neat, and tidy. Particularly, the sink area, which was outside the bathroom proper, which featured a full-size tub and toilet, was spotless--a must for my wife. Aside from the positive condition of the room, the hotel's front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's often the case that when booking a room and prepaying online, the establishment's staff isn't as forthcoming with a smile or pleasant demeanour as when you're presenting your credit card at book-in time. But not in this case. Check-in was a breeze, and super-quick. The lady at the front desk checked our Expedia reservation and simply said, "You're all ready to go, here's your two key cards!" 5/5 stars for R&R!

This is an older property, but assigned parking was right outside the door, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, the hotel was quiet and breakfast was fine (not hot, but fine) We had a good night.

We were comfortable at the R&R Inn and Suites. Our room was clean. The Breakfast dining area was one of the nicest we have been in, with nice lighting and live plants. It as cozy. There were plenty of breakfast choices.

Definitely an older location with older furniture etc. But it was clean and the people were very kind. The breakfast didn't provide a lot of hot food options- it had fruit, bread, muffins, etc and coffee/tea. They did have frozen breakfast burritos you could microwave, but with allergies, I was limited to just the fruit and yogurt.

This hotel is very good for those who live with a budget. It is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is quite good.

I liked that I had easy access to my room as I was able to park right outside my door. Breakfast was a disappointment for me as I am gluten free and was hoping for some hot food.

It's an older property that has experienced no updates. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast is single serving packaged bread/bagels/waffles/pastries for toasting, cereals, yogurt, fruit cups. No hot food prepared.

Breakfast was horrible. There was enough in counter for two people. But there was a volleyball team there
