The front desk attendant couldn’t have been less welcoming. Only knew about the Continental breakfast serving hours because I overheard her telling another guest. You are automatically charged for the in room safe whether you used it or not. She seemed annoyed when I asked for the charge to be removed from my bill. She is the first point of contact when checking in and needs a lesson on how to greet/treat guests.

Parking was easy, but I had a Hit and Run to my parked vehicle while in the lot. No cameras covering the lot. The room was clean except batteries were dead on the one TV and the other TV was unplugged and there was no hand soap in the bathroom. Staff was good. Did not use the gym. Breakfast was fair.

For the price we paid, it was not that good. Small hotel, well maintained and clean. The breakfast was not that great although they had hot and cold options. They charged us 2+ dollars a day for a safe we did not use even though they told us it was taken out. There was a smell in the room that was strong - cleaning liquids? There is nothing in Ashland and the only reason we stayed was because we could not find any hotels in bayfield or Washburn

Exceptionally clean! Thought it was brand new but it is several years old. Decent sized workout room, coffe/tea in the lobby all day. Friendly helpful staff. Spacious room, with couch and second tv separated by a half wall, microwave, fridge, coffee/tea maker, and safe. Water bottles for purchase. Really comfy bed and pillows. Plenty of towels. One lamp/outlet did not work, but there were plenty to go around. Only stayed one night but i would stay again.

The room, and hotel overall, was clean and presentable. The showers were clean with convenient dispensers with body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided. Water pressure was good. Decent size fridge and adequate TV. Pillows were surprisingly comfortable. I did not check out the pool or eat breakfast there. Nice hotel in a beautiful area. Not right on the lake front, but close to walk to.

Facility was not as clean as could be and there were flies in our room. Staff had no solution to this problem 😕 The room next door to us had a malfunctioning smoke alarm that was chirping all night. Again, no reasonable solution was offered. Bad for us, but worse for the couple in that room! Hotel corridors were not heated properly.

This motel looked very nice but the walls are very thin and it is extremely noisy. The mattress was very broken down and the tiles in the bathroom were cracked. We asked for a different room but were told they were full. We can't recommend this place.

We had a room at first that had a VERY loud air conditioning unit that couldn’t be turned off. In the end the receptionist upgraded us to a room where the air conditioner could be turned off, so all was well.

This newer hotel was centrally located to a number of Northeastern Wisconsin activities. Bayfield, Hayward, Great Lakes Visitors Center and Ashland itself, are all within an hours drive or less. Ashland's Murals are well worth locating and viewing - an amazing city project. Breakfast at Cobblestone was different each day and good. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Our favorite place to stay while visiting family and friends. This place is always very clean, quiet, and within walking distance of downtown. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. There is nothing that needs improvement that I can see with this last visit. Highly recommend this place to all who travel to Ashland.

The staff was very friendly and made great suggestions for places to eat. They were very honest as well. I say this because I left my diamond earrings in the room after we checked out and did not realize until late that afternoon. I phoned them in a panic and the associate that answered the phone told me he'd call me back after checking with the cleaning staff and checking the room itself. After 30 minutes I was called back and asked to describe the earrings. I am not sure if the cleaning staff turned in or if they were found in the room, but they had my earrings. I was so blessed that this staff was so honest. They sent via FedEx, and I was so extremely grateful. I cannot say enough good about this place! It is refreshing to encounter such wonderful people

This property is downtown, but in a quiet area. The room was very nice, clean, and they have some nice breakfast options available that are included with your stay. Some fun and unique food and shopping experiences are also available in Ashland.

The hotel was great, but we really loved walking around the downtown area outside of the hotel! Very cute shops and restaurants, and there are many murals painted on buildings. Absolutely loved the area!!

It was clean& quiet& in a good part of town. Walkable. The bed was a little saggy& the pillows were too big& hard for my liking. The breakfast has some hot offerings but was pretty mediocre& not really home-made. Overall, it was pretty good, just a few minor things.
