Great location, steps away from the Sandler Center. Check-in was relatively quick but the elevators were malfunctioning and we couldn’t get to our room until escorted there by a front desk employee. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, but when I wanted to tip the housekeeping staff, I couldn’t get the ATM to give me money and the front desk suggested I go “buy something” at the Walgreens and get some cash there. Didn’t have a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant but the woman serving at the Starbucks kiosk was delightful

The hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent. Whatever you need they will get for you. The only complaint was the parking. Although it was free, it was a parking garage and it was very narrow. And if they have a big event going on parking was hard to come by. I drove around the garage for 45 mins trying to find a place to park

Excellent property with one drawback: parking. It took an average of 20-30 mins to find a parking space every time I returned to the hotel which was annoying. There should be spaces reserved only for guests.

Hotel has a large car park directly connected, very convenient. Good assortment of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staff was polite and helpful. Room was clean, well kept and maintained. Internet was decent - around 8-10 mbps, adequate for web browsing and Teams.

Very nice lobby. Also liked the lobby bar. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (even the housekeeping staff we encountered when leaving the next morning). Two things I did not like: The temperature in the room was chilly and the thermostat would not turn up past 72. Also there was a big rust stain around the tub drain.

Check into my room around 9:00 p.m. drop my bags off and went out for a few hours came back and went straight to bed when I woke up the Sun was shining bright to the window and I had lights on and I can see how dirty and filthy through was along with the bathroom the room was $650 it's pretty shocked there was food crumbs everywhere, and pubes all over the bathroom and with all that I let them know about the dirtiness when I was leaving the next day and the lady credited me 3,000 points to my rewards account which is equivalent to about $24 and this place does not include a continental breakfast but you have to pay for your breakfast I would not recommend.

This is a fabulous property located in a safe, walkable area with loads of food options and shopping and culture if you are so inclined. The staff was phenomenal. They were eager to help, always ready with a smile, and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was just a lovely place to return to after a full day in the area. Will be back again as we have lots of required visits to the area. Won’t hesitate to return. Top notch.

The room was spacious and clean and the overall stay was good. There seems to be some kind of plumbing issue that makes the toilet and shower make a long and bassy noise, similarly to a ship horn. We thought about asking to change rooms but we had already unpacked for a 1-night stay and also heard the noise coming from nearby rooms as well.

Ive been to every hotel in the town center area and this one has been the best by far. The gentleman who checked me in upgraded our room to a "work out" room which had a private treadmill and work out equipment in the room. This was awesome! I got wonderful sleep because the bed was SO comfortable, almost exactly like my bed at home which is saying ALOT! LOL. Everything was so clean and nice. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Westin!

Nice staycation for a reset. The staff was polite and welcoming during our stay and departure. They always had a smile on their face and ready to help in anyway they could. We stayed on a high floor in a corner room and the views were amazing. We did hear random sirens throughout the night and early morning which did wake us from time to time but the comfort the bed provided there was no trouble getting back sleep. The only downside to our stay was the small shower and the heated pool was not heated which they are currently working on. Other than that, you’ll love your stay here at The Westin Towne Center in Virginia Beach a hotel where you can relax, release and restore.

This is a beautiful property. However, two situations marred an otherwise pleasant stay. The first could’ve ended badly. We checked in & proceeded to our assigned room. When we opened the door, it was clear that someone had already checked in (bags on the bed, etc.) Thankfully, the room was not occupied, but as we were a late check-in, we could’ve walked in & scared someone. The front desk gave us another room, but not the King bed I had paid for. Besides a late checkout that we didn’t need, no other overtures were made. The second issue is that there isn’t any dedicated parking. We ended up parking about 1/2 a mile away due to a street fair and having to move our cars closer to 10 pm. Overall, not a great stay.

Excellent place to stay to take advantage of the theater, the shops and the restaurants. Room was space and clean, comfortable beds. I don't give it five stars because it doesn't have amenities like bathrobes, shower caps and vanity sets, etc. The parking garage is free and attached to the hotel which was nice because it was cold. The front desk staff was very accommodating and nice. Shohn, Megan B, Amy and Angie were great!!!! We ending up getting another room for one of our party and they were fast and got us a room on the same floor.

I reserved the room on Hotels.com app and paid with my credit card on file. At check in the front desk took my card for incidentals and instead charged me for the room rate. After realizing their mistake, I went to the front desk where they acknowledged the accident and said they would correct it. At check out they still hadn’t corrected the issue, but apologized and assured me it would be resolved. It is now a day later and it is still on my card. I am disputing it with the credit card company. At two a.m. I went in search of a soda machine. The front desk attendants told me there weren’t any, but they could sell me a can from “the back”. I agreed, but then they informed me I could only pay cash. No card and no room charge? Since I didn’t have cash they directed me to a 7-11 two blocks away and told me to “put up my hood because it’s cold out”. Simply put, this hotel lacks any and all customer service. It is a beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel. Sadly it is in dire need of employee training.

The staff were, without exception, excellent. The hotel is a bit dated. No morning coffee was available downstairs, except Starbucks, which was $2.50 per plain old coffee. So for those that are averse to using in-room machines, tough. Plain coffee should be free for hotel guests as it is at most every hotel, even if at the in-house Starbucks. The bed was not comfortable. It was apparently not a Marriott mattress (the Westin is a Bonvoy prop) or it was a very old one with little support. Upon checkout there were no luggage carts available. The wait was uncertain, so I loaded up the wife and myself and hefted it all down ourselves. All-in-all one should expect better from a Town Center hotel carrying the name Westin.

Great property. Couldn't be in a better location. Super clean. All the staff we encountered were amazing. My only disappointment was breakfast. Everything was luke warm. Frozen potatoes cubes with no garnish. Someone from the kitchen was running food and just auctioning it off at tables. Our strawberry and orange wedge garnish should have been thrown out 3 days prior. Both of our toast choices were of good quality and eggs were well cooked. Our server was super sweet. Just disappointed for a $1000 two night stay. All and all we would stay again.
