Travelodge by Wyndham Williams Grand Canyon

Stayed here with my boyfriend on vacation, but thankfully it was only for one night. I’ll do the Pros first: Great location, as shops, restaurants and breweries were all walkable. We loved our time in Williams and visiting the area places, including Bearizona. Our room was clean. Cons: this hotel needs updating and maintenance. The walls are very thin, there’s no fan in the bathroom ( but the window opens at least), but those are to be overlooked with an inexpensive motel. Our bathroom floor had broken and loose ceramic tile flooring though. There weren’t one or two tiles that would be unnoticed, there were several that were actually in pieces. There’s no way that housekeeping could do their job and think that was safe and acceptable, and shame on management for leaving it in that shape. Don’t bother with their advertised hot breakfast. It’s in their small office area with a couple tables. I guess the hot part was the bread to toast and pancakes to make. Not much more than that. Goldie’s Diner serves a good breakfast right across the street, so head over there. They also shouldn’t advertise their pool, when there’s no water in it.

Just not the way I remember it. A lot less food at breakfast, hot tub wasn't "hot." At least it was full of water, albeit cold water. Last time it was empty and dirty.

The room smelled bad, the beds were dirty. The breakfast was horrible, the pancakes were raw. The water in the pool and jacuzzi was green.

The rooms were a good size but needs updating. One can hear all activities outside and above/beside rooms. Free breakfast was not impressive. Heated pool was surely not, and there was no sign of a jacuzzi as advertised. Good for a quick stop but not recommended for a long stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The laundry is out of service as well as the hot tub. Both services we needed when passing through town. The bathroom was deplorable. The wall is literally falling apart behind the door, no hooks, grey towels. Not clean. All three times I went to the front desk no one was there.

Parking was very easy. Water temp and pressure were great. Breakfast was mainly cold cereal (which is fine).. but not much else. Tv didnt work

Friendly staff. Great location. Bed was comfortable. AC/heat unit was very loud, second night we turned it off and slept much better. Well lit parking lot. Would stay here again.

You get what you pay for. The room was cheap, but it was not as advertised. No laundry available, the pool was disgusting, and the hot tub was not working. The breakfast was just cereal, toast, and pancakes,if you like your pancakes raw this is the place to go. Not many options. The coffee was awful.Not very many staff to help you out.

The property was not as clean as listed. The carpet on the way to your room is dirty, ripped up, and a tripping hazard. No elevators in case you’ll need them. A lot of rusting everywhere. The shower was gross. Our toilet did not work and they said they’ll send someone later without a time frame. While we were there another person came in to complain that their toilet wasn’t working and were told that it would be put on the list. The person visiting asked what they were suppose to do in the meantime and they did not offer a solution. We asked for a refund because it was so dirty we weren’t comfortable sleeping there and they said they couldn’t because we had been checked in already…like what!?! It also smells a certain way, definitely not a clean smell.

The pool was dirty, the room was dirty, carpet was dirty, the shower was dirty and the water would spray all over the bathroom. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were hard. The breakfast was toast, pancakes (not cooked all the way) and cereal. The people were nice. The location was good. We won’t stay there again.

Property only accepts cash. Room needs some serious cleaning. Breakfast consists of dry cereal and toast. Location is great! Good bed and lots of room. Everything worked.

Stains on bed sheets, mold growing in grout around tile in shower..

Bathroom was dirty. Ants, ceiling has mold or black spots, and shower had hairs on the drain. We booked last minute and wasnt expecting the best but for the price they charged it was not worth it.

The bathroom had black mold and the room is just dirty. Breakfast is basically just cereal and milk. Horrible experience.

Overall it was what you expect on the outside. The rooms were cute BUT then we found black mold in the bathrooms. Everywhere. We rented two rooms and ours has bits here and there but my sister’s room was COVERED. Definitely not a fan.

Room was disgusting. Dirt all over backs of doors, bathroom had black mold, room smelled strongly of mildew, sheets had little black things in them (hard to tell but looked like bug shells/bugs), we got a room that slept seven, but the 7th spot was absolutely not sleep able- it was rock hard and the base was broken- could not lay on it without hurting your back, breakfast was 6 pieces of bread in a dirty plastic container, one of the two tvs didn't work and remote didn't have a cover, tiny floor space heater to heat the second room, paint falling off walls, smashed bugs on bathroom ceiling, bathroom not to code, It was a place to lay our heads, but we won't be returning. Felt like slums. Told guy at counter, he just shrugged his shoulders.

The room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. The shower looked like they did a repair and didn’t clean up the remnants of all the cuttings, and what ever they did. It was unusable. Spiders and bugs. Never again will we stay here.

Beds were smaller than a queen. Seemed hard in the edges and you rolled to the middle. Me and my husband slept in one bed and our 2 boys slept in another. The room also smelled musty like mildew. But it was in walking distance of all the things which we loved. And to just stay one night was ok. I wouldn’t stay more than that though.

Poorly maintained rooms, beds were not as quoted! Was sold as Queen size and in reality we’re only full size! We will never stay there again! Also hold hotels.com responsible for false advertisement!

The room was clean and comfy enough. Was on a first floor room and heard the people above me a lot. Recommend top floor if you can get it.

Nice staff, but bed was really bad. We didn’t sleep at all. AC was super loud as well.

Air conditioner could have been better. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very small but clean. Not much was offered for breakfast. Service was great.

The check in staff was not nice or welcoming at all. She probably had a long day so it’s fine, but first impression was already bad starting with her. The room had so many ants everywhere, so that was really disappointing because we were on the second floor. The checkout staff the next day was even more rude, the free breakfast was in the lounge where checkin/checkout was at, so the staff in charge that morning stayed in the office and didn’t help anyone. I had a question because I lost something and I just needed to ask if anyone turned in something for lost and found, I waited 10 minutes, then I finally knocked on the manager door (the door she was in), she comes out all angry and telling me to never do that again. If she was out here at her desk and monitored that people needed help with the microwave and coffee machine, then there wouldn’t be such a long line! And she could have just answered my question quickly without me waiting over ten minutes before knocking on her door. I would never come back because I had such a bad experience here.

Rude front desk staff and zero breakfast at 9:15am no creamer no breakfast items left and the staff said, “sorry we are out” and offered nothing. Very condescending and rude. Had to buy breakfast at a restaurant! DO NOT STAY HERE! RUDE! They refused to take responsibility or refund! Booooo

It took me 45 minutes to get someone to the front desk. Front desk was unsupervised with no one present. When the person day comes to the front desk came laughing With his phone in his hand listening to some type of music or on YouTube. I could find him about the wait, He laughed said his name is Sam,and that I should know how it is. I asked to speak to a supervisor he said that he is the supervisor and he refused to give me corporate's number or any higher-end person contact. In a unprofessional uniform which was a regular t shirt. Where unprofessional would never stay at this location. At this time roughly around 6pm, The waiting room was dirty with cereal and food on the floor on the counter throughout the waiting area very Filthy and dirty all over.

Front desk/office is not staffed 24hrs, and no emergency contact number available. Was locked out of my room all night after multiple calls to both the office and Wyndam corporate. Ended up sleeping in my truck at below 20°. Then waited over an hour at 7am for someone to come to the office whencthe sign states open at 7am. Will never stay there again.

The property is in a convenient area, walkable to shops and restaurants. The hallways and stairs needed to be clean. Rooms are very clean. Except the lampshade is broken, the phone is broken. Management needs to check if things are working or not in the rooms. Front desk not always there. No smile.

No employee at desk for check in. After several calls to manager, someone arrived. 20 minutes late. Rooms are not nice. Check out, was unpleasant, waited 10 mimutes late to unlock door. Everyone was complaining. Will definitely never never return.

I waited in the lobby and called front desk for 30 min. I called Expedia with no help since I bought a non refundable room. Literally was in lobby 30 min and calling no answer. Couldn’t check in.

Near downtown - walkable to all the touristy shops. There is a train nearby that passes in the night, but you're going to hear it no matter where you stay on this street. The hotel was decent enough for what I needed.

Like most places in Williams, the property is old and needs some upgrades but everything in the rooms works and the staff was nice. Location of the property is perfect. It is minutes from Coaster adventure park and the main street that has all the restaurants and attractions.

Clean, quite, good location

It's very clean and quiet. it's very convenient to navigate the town.

Route 66 was the best part. Its right there. Grocery stores there. Gas. Nostalgic shops and dining. Near the highway

The hotel is older and outdated (especially considering the cost). However it appears most of the hotels in the area are similar in age and upkeep. I was to be able to walk everywhere. Lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance

Great location with a short walk to all of the shops/restaurants on Route 66. Felt very safe walking around that area too

The breakfast consisted of cereal and toast. There was ants in the rooms- staff said every room was like that due to heat. Not all amenities were available for every room. We had a mini fridge but no microwave, other guests that had microwave had no fridge.

Out side of property was very dirty carpet was torn and not clean. Break fast was not very good only bread and crisp and cofee

At the breakfast coffee and juices were very, very watery. Pancakes were great.

We arrived at 2:45pm and the lobby doors were locked. Manager arrive at 3pm to open lobby! Room was smelly and carpet was filthy. All Screens were busted in bad shape. Shower handle kept falling off and the sink water never got hot to wash hands and face. We needed to use shower water. Breakfast was a joke. They had white bread for toast and a pancake maker that produced 2 small pancakes in a couple of minutes but with alot of people, too hard to get to. There was a coffee machine and juice dispenser and some cold cereal & milk. No fruit, no yogurt and very little room. No bathroom in the lobby/breakfast area and none by the pool. The pool bottom felt slimy. The hottub was full of filth on the bottom. All the walls and doors are in desparet need of cleaning and painting. The "suite" we had for us four adults said sleeps 7 but there was only 2 chairs, NO TABLE and NO luggage racks for suitcases. We asked the manager for any of these things and were told no. We bought lysol to spay everywhere. If you walked on the carpet with socks, they were black! The deck off of the lobby, If you could call it that, was rotted wood and dirty furniture. Someone is bound to fall through a rotted board eventually.

The motel was just like others. Rooms as expected, added bonus of a swimming pool. The breakfast was the worst we encountered so far. Only cereals and white bread and jelly. No selection, not even water available.
