Les Terrasses de Saumur - Hôtel & Appartements - Restaurant & Spa (Logis)

We recently stayed at Les Terrasses de Saumur Hotel & Spa and could not have asked for a more brilliant experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went completely above and beyond, they were so genuinely lovely, warm, and attentive throughout our entire stay. The hotel itself was impeccably clean and tidy, with every detail well looked after. One of our favourite highlights was the fantastic pool area, which provided the ultimate spot to cool down and unwind. While we didn't get a chance to use the spa area during this trip, it looks wonderful, and our biggest regret is not booking a longer stay to enjoy it, we will definitely make time for it next time! We had a three-course dinner on both nights of our stay, as well as breakfast on the morning, and every single meal was gorgeous. Everything was incredibly tasty, the choice on offer was extensive, and the coffee at breakfast was top-tier. If you are looking for a peaceful, high-quality getaway in Saumur with unbelievable food and world-class service, this is the place to be. Absolutely brilliant in every way, we cannot wait to return for a longer stay!

Perfect stopover for one night. Stunning view and a lovely pool area. Friendly staff and great breakfast. They are able to cater knowledgeably for gluten free which is rare in our experience in France! Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel. Weve stayed here 3 or 4 times and always pleased with it.

Apparently this was the cheapest possible room of the hotel, in a separate building apartment. The room was clean except the bathroom would need more scrubbing (there's visible rust stains and calc in the shower) and someone has left a black string on the mat - dont know why or where from. This was just a detail though. The worst thing was that the whole time, anyone could've have come to the door and see inside the apartment. Actually, that was possible from the walkway already, if I've left lights on. The curtains were blocking nothing and anyone could've seen inside - that left quite worrying feeling. :( The restaurant in the premises was excellent!
