We recently stayed there with our kids and we lived the property! The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Lots of things to do such as foot bath, public bath, koi pond and very close to the outlet mall. Can’t wait to stay again!

Was wonderfully surprised from my recent stay at Mars Garden Wood Gotemba. It surpassed my expectations! I had booked it for its large room size and close proximity to Gotemba Premium Outlets. However, I was surprised by how nice the property was! I think it was recently facelifted which gave the place a clean and contemporary feel while retaining some traditional Japanese charm. We could see Mt Fuji from our room and the hotel has a dedicated viewing area on level 12. The grounds of the hotel were spectacular with a large pond and garden which felt so peaceful to take a stroll. Breakfast every morning was lavish and dinner at the teppanyaki restaurant was special with a night time fountain spectacle right beside. Thanks Mars Garden Wood for the wonderful stay!

ホテルの施設内に池があり、鯉に餌をあげられたり、足湯に入れたりと子供も楽しめました。朝ごはんもとてもおいしかったです。ただ、ベッドのシーツにチーズのカラカラになったものが張り付いていて、気持ち悪かったです。もう夜遅かったので交換してもらうのはやめましたが、もう泊まらないと思います。ホテルに入る時も、御殿場インターの近くなのでなぜかナビが高速の中に入るよう案内して、危うく間違えるところでした。

御殿場アウトレット前日に宿泊させていただきました。ホテル自体の空間と部屋の広さにゆったりとした気持ちでくつろげます。大浴場含め、清潔感も十分。充実のアメニティも安心。朝ご飯の和定食は本当においしかった！こども用の朝ご飯もほとんど大人と同じで喜んでました。またぜひ泊まりたいお宿でした。

Spent 2 nights on the Fuji view room with private hot spring, the room is spacious for 2 even for 4, the king size beds are excellent, pillows and blanket are top class, you can see the fuji mountain lying on bed if the weather allows, but unfortunately, 1 small building has blocked some part of it (very small portion), but u can go to the top floor shared area to take pictures with better angle ~ The private hot spring is nice with view of fuji mountain, but it takes time to accumulate hot water, its refreshing ~ the only compliant is that if you are not taking a taxi to the hotel, you will need to spend sometime finding the road or the entrance of the hotel ~ you may find convienient store around and a bus stop nearby which u can take free bus to outlet or a ride to other major area ~ 9/10 recommended ~

방에서의 후지산뷰는 아주 훌륭했고, 호텔음식도 맛이 좋았습니다. 정원이 예쁘고 아울렛이랑 가까워서 쇼핑하러 가기도 좋았어요. 그런데 호텔 주차장에 주차해놓았다가 타이어 펑크가 나버렸어요. 나이가 좀 있으셨던 남자직원은 잘 도와주었는데, 젊은 여자직원은 도와주지 않았어요. 일본 타이어샵들에 전화를 하는데 다들 영어를 못해서 대신 일본어로 좀 얘기해달라했더니 호텔 관련된 일이 아니라며 안해주더군요. 이 호텔에 concierge라는 개념은 부족합니다. 이것만 아니였다면 아주 훌륭했을텐데 조금 아쉬웠습니다.

The staff were not helpful, and when asked for Sushi recommendations and sent us 20 minutes away to a low to medium quality place, whereas there were ample other restaurants nearby nearby. When asked to arrange a taxi for us, they stated that no taxis were available. They would not give us extra keys for the room, which is strange.

This hotel was an older, but elegant, well kept hotel. The service was excellent from checking in to breakfast to housekeeping. The hotel seemed a little out of the way, but a free city bus to the outlets was close by. There was a beautiful garden onsite and both the Western breakfast and Japanese breakfast were delicious. The rooms were well apportioned and very large.
